The hotel is showing it's age leaving a sad atmosphere. The lobby is lovely but our floor looked like a construction zone with major chunks of peeling wallpaper, and long stretches of missing baseboard. The room was clean and bed very comfortable but stains on the carpet and a dripping bathroom faucet and a very old TV added to the run down atmosphere. Not what I expected for $120 a night.
Hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very courtiers.
Check in was SUPPOSED to be at 3pm....very late check in to begin with but it was still not available till the evening!! My wife had to freshen up in one of their community restrooms and our bags stored in the back. They stated they couldn't give a discount so they gave us free breakfast tickets. At the Garduno's restaurant in the hotel our waitress started off great but she left and we had a waiter that never checked on us and it took him 25 minutes to get us our check......with only 1 free breakfast tickets when we gave him 2!! He took an additional 10 minutes to try and clear it up for us and then tells me that he could not do anything and if I wanted a second discount I had to get another ticket myself. Finally spoke with the manager and he cleared it up in less than 5 minutes and gave us our breakfast at no charge.
very courteous workers
Had a great time at the pool where they had a small bar with some beers, Bloody Mary's and margaritas. Also had a great breakfast at Garduños.
