position & million dollar views of the mountains, large but basic room, great room rate, great restaraunt, nice fireplace & upstairs loungeroom, close to Les Houches(1.5k) & Chamonix(8k),great snow ski theme shower head required repair it was taped to position but worked fine
The location was good for us as a base for our excursions around the area. The room chosen with mountain view was fabulous. All staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast, pre-booked, was good and value for money. We ate dinner in the hotel all evenings, choosing the set menu, regional and freshly cooked, which was excellent and also good value for money. We were looked after well even though some days we were the only guests in the hotel. The lull between the summer season and the hectic skiing season. Very peaceful and exclusive
Smaller hotel a short walk from the city and train station. Great personable employees. They do go out of their way to help. Great restaurant with local food and wine.
the view were out of this world
Staff is great. Located a bit far from the noise but close to the cable car and bus station. Great restaurant with local food and wine.
This place is great, you can see the mountain in the room, and besides, there is a big hall on the first floor with big windows and confortables chairs, where you can enjoy the perfect view.... And the service is really great In fact, the dinner is of rather a high price, even higher in the centre town.
It was a very relaxed atmosphere. The views across the Mont Blanc were incredible as the Hotel gave us a Mountain view rather than a forest view which we had booked which was fantastic.
Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Nice view of Mont Blanc at Mont Blanc side room.
The location is excellent. Staff friendly and helpfull. Thank you!! N/A
Nice location , nice wooden room , easy to find , value for money A smell inside the hotel.I Guess its from the wood.
We liked everything! The rooms were ideal, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. One of the nicest places we stayed while on holiday in France. Nothing
The view The room was a bit dusty.
Comfortable bed, plenty of space for 2, good shower, parking space
Very nice family owned and run it - beautiful countryside and views from bedrooms - restaurant had nice dinners. Would have preferred bit more space in the bedrooms or beds spaced further apart as it was hard to go to sleep when so close together. Had to ask for more breakfast food each time something had run out - would prefer they keep this stocked up instead of having to ask.
Nice place just beneath Aiguille de Midi, we were wellcomed by nice and worm people. No
The booking was easy, online. The Hotel was easy to find and had off-road parking. Placed in a small town, with good access to other places. Very friendly and helpful staff. A family atmosphere.
frienyly family hotel and made very welcome will be back again next year
Friendly accommodating owners.Restaurant serves excellent / reasonably priced food. Free sauna, jacuzzi, steam room. No
Lots of hot water. Hotel lacked elevator and our room was on third floor. Very tiring after skiing Breakfast was marginal and we opted to eat dinner elsewhere.Owner was friendly but others seemed preoccupied with other matters. Room was cold.and never warmed up for entire stay.Overall was somewhat dreary.
friendly staff, good food, comfortable room and good location. perfect for our weekend ski break
Hotel room was small but clean. Great location only being 2 miles from Chamonix/Mt. Blanc. Great value for the money. Staff was helpful - looking up a French site to tell us which mountain passes were open. Hours for the hot tub are very limited (4:30-7:30 I believe). The bathroom is tiny (like something you'd find in an RV). The heat in the room was already turned off so it was a little cool at night, but not unbearable.
The hotel is quite and comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful. The restaurant food was not great, and yet rather expensive.
perfect view on the mountains At the same time we checked in a whole bus with at least 30 people arrived. We got a room on the other side of the elevator and people were standing there late in the evening and early ( at 6:45 AM) in the morning and talking . It was very loud! We could not get another room!
Good location and within walking distance of all city facilities, great view of Mt Blanc Restaurant closed, expensive breakfast, room lacked most decorations normal to a 3 star hotel, staff unfriendly - moved out after 3 nights
Good location. The staff at the reception were generally helpful, especially the male receptionist who was very friendly. The room I stayed in could do better with more lighting. I did not want to open the curtains fully for privacy reasons - my room was on the first floor and overlooked neighbouring apartments. It could also do with more electric sockets.
The spa facility is relax and the room is big No wifi free
Really convenient location, beautiful and well-maintained. Comfortable and well-decorated rooms that were spacious and well-appointed. Would recommend! Free parking is a challenge near their hotel unless you would like to pay their daily rate of €25 per day or in a public pay parking facility, but overall not a hindrance to the experience.
Excellent value for money, good location, free covered parking, nice stuff
Excellent breakfast! Excellent views of Mont Blanc! Well spoken english by staff members!
great location only a few minutes walk from the centre and Mont Blanc, stunning view from the balcony of Mont Blanc too! Underground parking very cramped, better off parking on the road outside
Warm comfortable rooms with friendly and efficient staff Checkout was a bit slow
We paid for a Mont Blanc view room and had a good Mont Blanc view from the room. It is about 5 to 10 mins walk to the cable car station. Hotel is very old and carpet in the room is really old and worn out and has a bad smell.
the staffs are really keen to help guests. the security in the hotel that is really secure.
Very friendly service SPA: The water in the swimming pool is cold - the swim is a doubtful pleasure, in fact I only put my feet into it. Hammam is smelly. Gym is a tiny room with just a few machines.
The staff at Reception was very helpful and kind, professional and friendly. Location was very good to reach the ski lift and also the bus to Argentiere. A bit of a walk to the centre of the town but it was worth it. The hotel was very modern, new and clean. The spa was very nice as well. No minibar in the room and a little cold in the room as well
outdoor heated jacuzzi, sauna, location, the mountain view, excellent staff... well above three star nothing
People running the place were very nice and helpful. Loved having a pool warm enough to swim even when it was not hot outside. Good breakfast buffet that came with the room.
We had a fantastic stay!!!!! So relaxing, the facilities are exceptional A+, Very helpful & polite staff, this hotel is well above a three star rating!! will recommend this hotel to all my friends & will be back for a weeks snowboarding in February!!! Cant wait!!!
The hotel is well located and has a great restaurant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Although the hotel has a no smoking policy, they do not appear to enforce it because the corridors reeked of smoke sometimes.
The beds are so comfy, the toilet are so spacious and the best of all the sauna and the hamman faciltieis. Simply excellent. Nope.
The manager at the reception was very willing to help and offerred us a lot of useful infomation at our requested.
Lovely staff, fantastic large room, very comfortable and would definately stay here again and recommend.
Easy to find with good parking. The swiming pool was no longer there had we been aware of this we would have had the option to choose a diffrent Hotel.
They upgraded my room to a minisuite with a view of the mountains, and included the fantastic breakfast. Staff was very helpful, location is perfect for train travelers and easy to get to the mountain lift. A lovely experience. No
This hotel is closed to central station and it is very convenient for every places. I could have a good room facing mountains. I want to stay this hotel again. Nothing
the bed was comfy the service was not helpful the front desk was not friendly and were helpful when asked for ideas on what to do in the city
Clean bright room, comfortable, next to the railway station but the room was quiet and had a good view of the mountain, short walk into the town center, easy parking in a parking lot next door to the hotel free of charge.
convenience location, beside the train station, can ask for the room facing Mont Blanc mountain, good view. hotel beside the main road, a bit noisy; no internet in rooms, only has internet at loby
Excellent breakfast buffet, friendly, cheerful and efficient staff, pleasant dining room. Our room, in the annexe across the road, was oddly shaped with inadequate storage and a minimalist shower room. The plastic floorboards were not very pleasant to walk on but they were not slippery. If you could get into the shower, squeezing through the gap between the glass wall and the tiled wall (not too difficult for the slim and fit, but hard for an older man with a bad back) the floor was incredibly slippery and dangerous. There were no grab rails or non stick mats (which are horrible, but in this case we needed one) so this shower was inappropriate for all ages. We asked for more hangers which made the storage less awkward (brought very quickly by a cheerful and helpful member of staff) but cannot think how we would have managed if we had booked the room for a week's skiing instead of a weekend wedding. Accor should design their accommodation better than this: it was uncomfortable and potentially dangerous. The bed was good, though, as were the windows and the heating.
Close to the Train station The bed cover was dusty.
Position near Mont Blanc, view, parking place, breakfast. distance from the centre of Chamonix
The Baffet Dinner was very poor!! All the other things were not big problem, but I dont reccomend to have dinner in the hotel...
Location, opposite Chamonix Station. Less that 2 mins from the main shopping area.
loved the staff...very friendly. swimming pool was nice. breakfast was good. if small things couldbe worked on then it wouldbe a nice hotel to stay. but i can definately reccommed to ppl. rooms too small,,air condition not at all working. no concept of "room service" staff was good but whtever u want go down and fetch it. shower was pathetic. took very slow flow of water. took ages to have a shower. u can stay there only if u have a car. There is no balcony in any rooms.
Fantastic Staff. For our honeymoon - brought up very sweet note and split of Champagne. Would have loved to stay for more nights... will be back - soon I hope. Comfortable room, hotel. Friendly staff, helpful and nice spa area. Construction (for peak skiing season), understandable, not a problem!!
excellent ! everything is perfect, especially the night service！the chocolate is go good!
Excellent central location. Good clean rooms everyday. Nice, helpful staff. Rooms too hot. Bed and pillows not very comfy.
The situation is perfect, the staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is furnished and decorated to a very high standard.
fasad and place very bad breakfast, etc.
comfort of the beds and good food staff who were unaware of shops opened or closed in Chamonix
Food(dinner and breakfast) and kindness of staff as well as the view from my room Absence of a bidet in the bathroom...
Central. Friendly clean.
Location and room position
Friendly helpful staff. Swimming pool is very small and the current didn't work, if there is more than 10 people in the spa it is very cramped.
Views from hotel were amazing. The Bistro Restaurant was excellent.
Beautiful setting in a quiet rustic part of Chamonix valley but close enough to town and ski slopes. Would be a good choice in summer too given the outdoor pool and proximity to golf course. Rooms are pretty basic even for a 2 star hotel e.g. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room.
Very nice quiet and inexpensive hotel with Mont-Blanc view. Swimming pool was a nice surprise.
Quite, close to bus and train stops, Hotel Staff, Good size rooms. No stand up shower in double room, water gets all over the place and cheap pillows.
Beautiful view, Nice restaurant, Good location with a car. Staff were not that friendly
nice and quiet atmosphere, excellent breakfast
It was very quite and comfotable. It was difficult to find the hotel.
Freindly and helpful Staff, spoke excellent English to go with my awful French! The internet was not working for five of my six day stay
Have enjoyed our stays at logis de France hotels. This was a few miles out of Chamonix so had to drive into town and park to enjoy the sights. However it was a quiet pleasant place with many recreational activities on site.
Excellent cuisine in hotel restaurant Decor and furniture a bit dated. Two mornings no hot water
this is more than four questions- you need to be more honest in your survey offer. the breakfast was delicious and the staff spoke english which was very helpful
The cleanliness and the mountain views from balcony. My daughter loved the pool. We stayed two nights but only recommend the hotel for sure. Just the fact that the service starts only at 08:00 am.
The views of Mont Blanc outside our bedroom window. Breakfast was good The menu for the evening meal was not to our taste.
The room was OK but old-fashioned decor; the (indoor) pool looked inviting; quite close to the village centre with some basic shopping, bars, restaurants available. Good mountain views. Small room, bathroom and shower.
Friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help their guests, great food in the restaurant & overall value for money. Motorcycle friendly.
Very good hotel, nice courteous staff, fantastic view from Mont-Blanc room. Nice garden with outside pool, you can swim and have view of mountains, sunbeds in the garden. Bus stop to Chamonix in 5 min from hotel, Bellevue and Prarion cable cars are in walking distance from hotel. Good breakfast. Not so good dinner. For dinners I can recommend excellent grill restoraunt near Takonaz bus station. It's about 15-20 min walking distance from hotel direction to Chamonix, but really best place to eat that area.
Very comfortable staff helpful
very pleasant and friendly good facilities would stay again
Free internet, good location with free shuttle to Chamonix.
Good location with fabulous mountain views. Lovely to have indoor pool as well as a small outdoor one. Balconies were lovely. Outdoor pool very small. Dining room rather dated and tired.
staff was extremely accomodating and could not have been more helpful. Especially Myrhtitte(sp?). only stayed one day.
The view from the room balconies and the restaurant terrace is spectacular - Mont Blanc in all its splendor. The flowers and the vegatable garden were lovely. The rooms were comfortable with modern bathrooms. Breakfast was very pleasant with good cheeses, fresh fruit and eggs to order and even international newspapers. There was a sauna and jacuzzi which were very nice because we were alone there. More than two in the sauna would have been a squeeze. We dined there both evenings with the reasonable half board offer of 30 Euros per person for four courses. We had very high expectations from the reviews. But the food, while fresh and good, was in no way remarkable.
Excellent views of mont blanc, fantastic to wake up and see the mountains from your balcony.
Wonderfully discreet and luxurious
Rooms clean, ski room very accessible Paid for full english breakfast, there was none .... only boiled eggs available ... was only Continental. Was extra charge to use sauna
Excellent view of Mt Blanc. Close to main road. Good value-for-money. Parking close to front door - although there were few guests in this, the low season.
Friendly and helpful staff The noise from the road at the back of the hotel at night
The personal has provided excellent servicies The sound isolation
Good size, well appointed room. The hotel itself was quiet but situated beside a motorway (main route to Italy through the Mont Blanc tunnel). With temperatures in the high 30's last week, and no air conditioning, we could not leave the windows closed, but the noise from the road was apalling and went on all night. The service was mixed. The woman (who we presumed to be the owner) was helpful and her waiter was a delight, constantly smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately the other young man who served us (who we took to be the owner's son) gave the impression that serving was beneath him and when he made mistakes (because he hadn't listened a properly in the first place) they were our fault! He made meals most uncomfortable. Menus choices were limited.
it had everything required food /pool/bar/easy access to skiing
Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good location with Alpine views. Parking available with short drive to Chamonix. Nice to be away from crowded tourist venues.
The hotel is pretty basic and straight forward. The location is too far from tourist attractions, not for those without own means of transport.
Very nice hotel. Quiet. Extremely friendly staff. Right next to the slopes (Les Houches - less than 5 mins drive away). Would recommend it to friends and would stay there again. Chamonix Centre is 10 mins drive away.
Great staff Hidden Taxes
Only stayed in passing overnight so cant say much, will love to use again. V|ery comfortable, breakfast inc. (little one) would have been nice touch, just coffee and bread and butter. Also, being vegetarian they made mje feel a bit uncomfortable asking for a veggie pasta. Only the request for a pasta and vegetables as I do not eat meat or fish. Made a bit of a big deal of it. Wonderful reception, wonderful room. Will come again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and we found both the restaurant & other public spaces to be very pleasant. We both enjoyed the meals that we had in the restaurant during our stay.
Hotel was clean and very decorative, beautiful mountain scenery
The food was the greatest weakness. Dinner was not served for around 45 mins and no explanation was offered for the delay. When it came, the food was very poor - e.g awful (tasteless) pasta dish and over salted meat dish. Breakfast too was completely unsatisfactory - the fresh fruit was some days old and had gone sour (fizzing with bacteria). No explanation offered - and no apology but the staff did not require us to pay for it. For the rest, the hotel is shabby - obviously heavily used for skiiing holidays and showing the effects - damaged facias, stained carpets etc. Over all horribly over-priced and poor value for money. The description gave a very misleading impression of the hotel. (Copied to Trip Adviser)
Facilities, friendly and helpful reception staff. Slight feeling of restaurant staff trying to guide you towards the expensive end of the menu ie wines, bottled water etc
Near to transportation and near to 2 famous historical places ,mamokh and wax musem
Great view of mountains and glaciers. Nice pool / sauna / jacuzzi On main road. Rooms facing main road might be less enjoyable. Breakfast seemed expensive but was very good.
Peaceful location, just off a main road leading to the Mont Blanc tunnel.Fabulous mountain views. A spacious hotel with good facilities.
Location The restaurant has limited choice and is pricey. The bar is uncomfortable and not welcoming.
It is an excellant value Hotel offering a high level of comfort.
The scenery/setting. Convenient for the Mont Blanc Tunnel and as a 'stop of' hotel if you are driving to Italy. The bedrooms are basic and a bit tired. Compared to French budget hotels e.g. Kyriad the hotel could do with some re-decoration and investment.
the room was large with the added bonus of kitchen facilities
The view of the mountains was excellent Very old-fashioned decor, staff were unfriendly, we were told off at breakfast for taking 3 oranges and the owner asked to look in our bags. Restaurant was closed, yet advertised as having a restaurant. By a main road and a drive to the next town
Simple, very comfortable hotel just off main Chamonix road. Excellent swimming pool. Very nice staff.
Excellent hotel, ,great rooms, clean and equipped, amazing breakfast. Highly recommend.
If you are by car is a very nice option. The owner is very friendly and the room is confortable, clean and organized.
very helpfull staff, coyz place, nice bkeakfast, great view from the balcony, romantic rooms bathroom next door
A cheap solution, clean room with nice breakfast.Very friendly The room was small.
Pascaline gives you the feeling that you are member of the family..very cozy tasty hospitable house. we will definately visit her again..
I likes the location. it was soooo calm and quiet and at the lap of Mountain. morningn fresh show made it even more beautiful not really
Nice location, outside of the busy touristy areas. The room was small but clean and cozy and had all we needed. The owner is very nice and was very helpful giving us information about our planned hikes and trips.
We stayed at this delightful chalet on our way to Italy. The chalet is at the foot of Mont Blanc. The bedrooms were on the ground floor, with doors opening onto a paved area with spectacular views of the snow covered mountains. We sat in the sun sipping wine, relaxing after a long day's drive. Friendly host and excellent breakfast with home made conserves.
Pascaline is a superb host. Very helpful to assist us to find our way around & enjoy skiing at Les Houches. We had a wonderful time. Her warm hospitality is greatly appreciated. Location is not ideal but it's close enough & manageable if you have a car or don't mind walking for a short bit to take the bus.
Good day! I would like that there will be some kind of spa, not only sauna. It would be better to have more varity breakfast
location is great. rooms are fine. personel are under any expectations = bad, impolite, not helpful
Friendly staff, Clean rooms, Excellent location in the center and Swimming pool on the roof Wifi not available in some (remote?) parts of the hotel, Bit noisy street, No balcony on the first floor
The hotel was centrally located close to good range of shops and restaurants. They have a policy of allowing guests to keep pets in the bedrooms (and to be left unattended) which we were unaware of at the time of booking. We would not have booked this hotel if we had known this was permitted. The room was hot and airless.
Good location, nice view from balcony. Hotel was good and clean, but meal was fare behind. Breakfast choice relatively poor. During dinner was very warm in restaurant and staff did not wont open window. Restaurant is not exactly good for families with small children. It look like high class, but in my opinion it is not.
The location is good for evening walks in downtown Chamonix The bunk bed for the children was very instabel, it moved more than 10 cm asside. The breakfast was not very tastefull especially the warm dishes (e.g. bacon, eggs) that where cold.
Good location; comfortble room Dfficulty re dinner menu. Informed that residents could only chose from the set menu, whilst being prepared to pay a la carte. Resolved by Manageress, which was unnecessarily stressful for both me and her.
The location was excellent and the rooms were clean There was no tea and coffee facilities even in a deluxe Room. Also a Deluxe room should be facing the Mont Blanc - that is the bare minimum expected The breakfast variety was mediocre.
Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel.
Hiking and sightseeing in Chamonix mountains Many group tourist in hotel, which occupied dining area.
Super-friendly and helpful staff really made our stay a delight. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are charming and spacious (we had a superior double with a generous balcony overlooking the Arve river), breakfast was good value for money and the afternoon tea and cakes offered each day was a bonus after a day of skiing. There is a sauna and fitness room, a games room and a very inviting open fire. Everything was excellent
