Pros (+) The beds were comfortable and clean. Location is great, and the staff was friendly. The exterior of the building is attractive, and I enjoyed the feel of the room. The room and bathrooms were huge. The location across from the water and park area is very nice and we walked down and had dinner and ice cream which was convenient.
Cons (-) On the way to our room, I tripped in the hallway because the carpet is buckling and needs stretched. 4th floor. You can’t see the buckles because of the pattern. Our A/C barely worked. The plaster in the bathroom was crumbling off the walls, and cracked in multiple places. Two shower heads, but the water pressure was very weak. Pros (+) Loved the old charm of the hotel and decor. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was fairly clean and bed was comfortable. Location was great. Very charming little town with great restaurants. Hotel had view of Niagra river and only 10 minutes from the falls. Continental Breakfast was included and was average.
Cons (-) The negative I would have to say is the area rug in the room was heavily stained. Could have easily been replaced. I dropped granola crumbs under the desk and it stayed there the three days we were there. The shower didn't drain real well so there was water pooling at the bottom of the shower while in it.
