Price was good

On my return flight from FLL to IAG, they had all of us board the plane, even began the pre-flight information. THEN, we get a sudden message overhead from the pilot that there was a last minute crew change. We were asked to de-plane and were delayed an hour while we await the new crew. RIDICULOUS that this couldn't have been foreseen earlier before we all boarded. If they can't figure who will be flying the plane, what else are they missing. I'd rather pay extra for a competent airline w/ better planning. At minimum, they could have offered a complementary beverage service bc of the inconvenience. Jeez.

The flight ended up canceling. There was no explanation given and no accommodations to reschedule. It was a Friday and the earliest they could fly us out was Sunday, we were scheduled to fly back Monday. There wasn’t even an apology or attempt to get us on another flight. We walked ourselves over to the frontier counter where they were willing to help us figure something out. That flight actually ended up delayed and they gave us vouchers for the delay so we would fly with them again in the future. The airlines are a service industry and spirit gets a 0 in my eyes.

A clean, straight forward, a-la-carte flight. Spirit delivered what they advertise. Price makes it worth the time and effort to travel light and plan ahead.

Seats are tight. Family of four is split up. However the option to choose your seats well in advance help for both legroom and seat planning.

Bought the ticket for 70 dollars. But paid 52 to check in my bag plus 30 for overweight and 65 for my carry on. Got yelled by the attendant when I was boarding. He said I should read the offer online before buying. I believe it should be more direct. Like, good price for travelling light. And have in capital letters LUGGAGE COSTS A LOT MORE THAN TICKET.

It is hard to beat the price of tickets for this airline. I love the price; that the flights are direct & almost always on time; that the staff, from the flight attendants to ticket agents, all seem professional, helpful & friendly; and that the planes are clean and seats well cushioned & comfortable.

I don't like that the seats don't lean back & that they are very close together with little leg/knee room. Altho the base price for the flights is cheap, they charge for "extras", including making your reservation by phone instead of online, printing out your boarding pass &choosing your seat. There's a fee for carry on's as well as regular size luggage. If you don't prepay for your luggage or if your luggage weighs more than 40 lbs, they charge $50, instead of $25. They not only charge for food, but also for water or any beverage. If you are prepared for a no frills flight & are willing to sit separately from your travel companions, etc. then this is a great way to save time (direct flights) and money. I will choose to fly with them again, even tho My husband & I prob. won't get to sit together. If you know what to expect & plan for it, it is a great way to save.

Pretty empty flight so we were able to change seats. Good thing because my family wasn’t sitting together-$12 to pick or change seats ahead of time. Just be prepared and knowledgeable about this airline and other budget airlines and you will be satisfied. - pay for bags in advance, Try to weigh your checked bags before the airport, Bring snacks or drink on flight - otherwise you have to pay for it. Trenton and punta gorda airports are small, you have to walk to the plane. I love the small airports, no lines , easy parking!

I am so angry booking with them. I booked the flight and then thought, ok I will add a rental car. It said clearly that the rental Car could be canceled up until 24 hours before the flight. Well, 2 weeks before the flight, my friend said, don’t get a rental car, I will have my car. So I cancelled and only then did I find out that once I booked it through their site I could not get a refund for the car and I could only get a voucher for use on one of their flights! And only after they take out any fees and costs that was accrued! So angry!

I liked that the flight staffordable were nice and that there wasn't a lot of coughing or sickness in the airplane. Like that we were on time and that the plane seemed clean.

I didn't like the three children that were behind myself my mom and my 2 year old son. They inter flight was packed with child's due to spring break getting back. But it would have been nice to at least have an adult with them to stop there constant kicking of the seats. They were very loud and noisy and at one point woke my 2 year old up from his sleep and I just wasn't impressed with no one saying anything including the airline staff.

Flight from MSP to PHX was delayed an hour, which messed up our transportation down there. Minimal word was given, at time of boarding they then delayed 30 min, then when that time expired they added another 30. VERY UNORGINIZED, and unprofessional. Terrible service, terrible airline, don't be tricked by 5% cheaper fairs... they suck!

They canceled our flight home from PHX to MSP, they blamed weather in DFW, which is bull, there were many other airlines flying out of DFW that morning. Because they blamed weather, there was no compensation for screwed up schedules. The next available flight was 2.5 DAYS later!! no other options, it was ridiculous... they were no help to get rebooked on another airline, or even driving to another airport... horrible all around. We ended up driving to Mesa Gateway, flying Alegiant Air to Fargo, renting a car, driving 5.5 hours back to MSP to get our car, then 2.5 hours home again. But it's all good, Spirit refunded that leg of our fare... $220... we spent over $750 to get home by 1am, when we should have been there by early afternoon. DONT EVER FLY SPIRIT - THEY'RE THE WORST...

Terrible service, terrible airline, don't be tricked by 5% cheaper fairs... they suck!

They canceled our flight home from PHX to MSP, they blamed weather in DFW, which is bull, there were many other airlines flying out of DFW that morning. Because they blamed weather, there was no compensation for screwed up schedules. The next available flight was 2.5 DAYS later!! no other options, it was ridiculous... they were no help to get rebooked on another airline, or even driving to another airport... horrible all around. We ended up driving to Mesa Gateway, flying Alegiant Air to Fargo, renting a car, driving 5.5 hours back to MSP to get our car, then 2.5 hours home again. But it's all good, Spirit refunded that leg of our fare... $220... we spent over $750 to get home by 1am, when we should have been there by early afternoon. DONT EVER FLY SPIRIT - THEY'RE THE WORST...

It was clean, and I felt like I got a good deal and the staff was very friendly

The other passengers were interesting... lots of swearing, I wouldn’t take my kids on one of these flights
