On the brochure it shows a pool table available and a game room. Pool table was broken down and the game room was shut closed. We were scheduled to go into a king suite room and we got into the room it was oppressively warm, they was cracked paint on the walls and it had a musty and unclean smell to it. We decided to change rooms and the only thing they had available was two queen room facing the parking lot on the first floor. We wanted to be in the first floor because the elevator was rickety and shaky and did not feel safe to be in. I went to get some ice and the ice machine was out of order. Their gift shop had a freezer that wasn't working so there was no microwavable food in their freezer. The pool had stains on the bottom of it that made us question the cleanliness of it. And the dining room where you have breakfast looks directly on the pool so it felt like it was too exposed for our comfort. There was no overnight staff. Which again felt like an unsafe situation. We went for breakfast about 8:30 in the morning and the food looked like it was the same that they put out at six, dried crusty eggs and nothing else to seem desirable to us. We ended up having cereal and fruit. We were so unimpressed with the hotel that we checked out 3 days early even though they didn't guarantee that they're going to give us our money back. We tried to talk to the general manager she refused to talk to us that day and she was going to call us later and she never called us. I finally called her back and managed to finally talk to her and she refused to refund her money even though we only stayed there went out of four nights. Then we try to Expedia and AARP travel Center to get our money back and they refuse them as well. We still did not get a refund but we thought it was important enough to leave that we went to Best Western across the town which was way better! We recommend the Best Western hotel.
Pros. The breakfast was fresh and good. But prior to booking there was nothing said about the indoor pool or hot tub was out of order for a week, scheduled resurfacing. kids were disappointed.
Pros. did not stay here but website won't leave me alone until I fill out survey
Cons. bugging website
Pros. My hubby and I debated between 4-5 stars. He says, for the money we paid we should give it a 5 star rating. I said 4 stars because it wasn't a luxury room. The beds were very comfy and the room is spacious and clean. If we were with our kids and planning a longer stay, we would have appreciated the large frig, kitchen area, microwave, swimming pool, and hot tub. The front desk clerk was friendly and the breakfast was filling and fresh. Overall, I would recommend this quality inn.
