Graduate Lincoln is a locally top-rated, good value and charming hotel that's well situated in the historic Haymarket District of downtown Lincoln, Nebraska. The hotel's rooms and lobby pay tribute to the late and great host, the infamous star of The Tonight Show from 1962 to 1992, none other than Nebraska's own, Johnny Carson. The hotel does a great job of showing respect to the state of Nebraska through its lobby decor, while games including vintage pinball and arcade machines and communal tables attract the attention of the many students that frequent the building for spirited conversations and camaraderie.

The smoke-free property here at Graduate Lincoln provides free Wi-Fi for guests looking to stay connected to the digital world. Pets are also welcome to stay with their owners, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a restaurant, a laundry facility, a bar/lounge, concierge, meeting rooms and an elegant banquet room is on-site for the celebration of weddings and other formal events. John J's Chow Hall is the hotel's restaurant – serving American style food for both breakfast and dinner. I freaking love every Graduate hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Dog friendly, hip, reasonable and comfy.

Pros (+) Everything was great! Staff was extremely friendly, the decor was adorable and the amenities were great. I loved being able to bring my dog with me and it was fun seeing other residents with their doggies. The bar in the hotel is super cute with a great happy hour. Great location.

Pros (+) Convenient location, in the Haymarket and close to downtown made this hotel appealing. Beyond that, though, I would not recommend this hotel as a top choice.
Cons (-) Hotel seemed dated with the fit and finish appearing a bit long in the tooth. There was mold growing around the windows in the room and dust on the carpeting around the edges of the room. The shower flooded the bathroom floor. The future had a sagging look to it.
