Renovation in progress Loud due to bridge building site and renovation of other rooms. very unclean appearance
Clean rooms, short drive accross bridge to Ocean City.
The location was extremely convenient to Ocean City, yet affordable by not being right in town.
It was two blocks from the boardwalk and in a central location to everything we wanted. I also liked the service we had from the desk attendant. When there was a problem he fixed it right away. The beds were terrible, probably the worst that I have ever slept on which made for two very sleepless nights.
Great location The room was not very clean and very small
Only 2 blocks from the boardwalk, everything within walking distance of hotel Only thing that was wrong with our stay was the AC in our room was not quite working, and when I asked the woman at the front desk about it she said,'I get someone to come look at it when I get time to'. And no one ever came to look at the AC unit.
they had beach tags for all adults not enough parking spaces. had to find a spot on the street for the second car.
Location was great as far as in being close to the boardwalk and walking distance to everything. Suites are a plus for multiple people. Didn't like how small the rooms were and no bathtubs, only showers. Office is not open, you have to call for check-in/service. Pool is the size of a bathtub. Beds are super squeaky lol.
Location great - easy walk to boardwalk and beach). Kitchenette allowed me to economize on meals by 'eating in.' Price fit my needs. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would recommend to others as long as they were comfortable with things I didn't like. Quarters rather cramped, especially rear bed area. Barely room to climb around bed. bathroom extremely small. Plumbing antiquated, shower extremely small, and door didn't close easily.
It was fairly close to the ocean, allowed for only one night on a summer weekend, had rooms available, and was relatively inexpensive for that area Really run down. Very dingy and small.
Nothing They obviously spend as little money as possible on the upkeep of this place. Room smelled like old smoke and bleach at first, but then morphed into a cat urine smell. No obvious updates in decades: broken furniture, ratty office chair that belonged on the curb, nasty curtains, couch, etc. Layered couch with newspaper (just to place suitcase on, never sat on it), only touched surfaces through a napkin , never let bare feet touch the rug. But that wasn't even the worst: killed 5 or 6 insects (not sure what kind, fruit fly, but bigger) by the next morning, there were even more - like 10 or more all in the bathroom. Hightailed it out of there at 7am!
The honesty and willingness to serve of employees Cleanliness - lack there of
We enjoyed our stay, the room was nice and comfortable We were disappointed with the amount of food left for the breakfast at 9:30, there were no donuts, very little amount to pick from just bread and the jelly was stale.
Room was awesome with flat screen tv, coffee machine, microwave and beds were very comfortable. super clean. friendly staff and Atlantic city is only 10 minutes away from this hotel...I Recommend this hotel for Great price rather than staying in the casino and spending over 300 dollars...Great Hotel.
Good beds and good TV, mini fridge and microwave. Poor internet (bandwidth limited and unreliable maid service... hidden charge of $5 per night for "booking.com" reservation.
Budget motel close to AC. Clean but basic.
Very very clean & comfortable! I will go back and send my best friend anytime. But breakfast was very simple!
everything was very good. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were several different pillow types to choose from. hostess was very polite, location was perfect for my trip. I will not hesitate to stay here again when I'm in the area. I have paid 4X more and gotten less at other area hotels, 2X more for some campsites. Tremendous value. I only have two suggestions to improve what as a very good stay. 1 - I stayed in room 106 and the door did not seal tight when closed. 2 - I like thicker towels and bath linens.
Close proximity to Atlantic City. Cheap ratty bedspread. No comforter on bed! Bed felt a little soft.
Great value! Stayed there for two nights and it was worth every penny. Location is perfect and staff was very friendly! Would definitely stay here again!
everything went very well none
Friendly staff, extremely reasonable, new comforters, sheets, flat screen tv and internet access, small refrigerator, microwave, quiet (on the weekdays). A good value. I made the suggestion to have conditioner in the room, they only provided shampoo
The rooms were very clean; Breakfast was very good we had waffles, omelette and muffins the room was a big size and had a nice sized bathroom It was a bit pricy as we booked on the day of a big show in Atlantic CIty..
very disappointed with staff cane to room at 8:30a did not knock and did not appologize when went to desk to complain did not care, door to room was very difficult to open and close. would not say there again.
Our stay was fine. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and wireless internet was available at no charge. However, the staff was "English-Challenged" where it was difficult at check-in time. Also, the towels & washcloths were "Spartan", not absorbent nor soft. Soap consisted of two small bars, one bar was barely able to accomodate to showers. No, it met aour requirements for sleep and reasonable comfort at a good price and value.
This was the cheapest hotel to stay at during the weekend and worked out very well for us.
Well, I stayed here because it was cheap! The room wasn't as clean as some of the hotels on the boardwalk, but it wasn't disgusting.
It smelled, had flies, dirty pillows, broken microwave, it's the worse place I ever stayed.
Nothig Close down the moel for renovation
One of the workers of the hotel went into our room when we were gone and went through all of our belongings. We caught the worker in the room when we came back from beach. We had to call the police. We did not feel comfortable staying the night there, but hotel refused to give us our money back. After much battle between the hotel, police, and me, I was able to get part of our money back. I did not like anything. The hotel was extremely dirty and not taken care of at all. Having a worker of the hotel in our room was scary and unprofessional. They were looking for money, but thankfully we had our purses with us. I think that you should take this listing off of your website.
Checking out in the morning was awesome! This quite possibly was the worst motel/hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. There were blood stains on the blanket! No lie. The room smelled like somebody's bed ridden grandmother lived there. There were hairs in the sink that did not belong to me. How unnerving is that? Did I mention that there was a blood stain on the blanket. I'm watching Training Day on the tube, 'bout to take a a siesta, I unfold the blanket, only to reveal a burgundy colored stain about the size of a Vienna sausage! The manager of the building was some East Indian guy, and he had his teenage son running errands. The fact that he was from the Indian subcontinent is irrelevant. The fact is that he was a b.s. artist to the ninth degree.
The location was conveniently close to Atlantic City. It was digusting. The first room they gave us a key for, when I opened the door, the room hadnt been cleaned from the last person. So they gave me another room. We went into that room, and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. It wasnt. It smelled like a wet ash tray & there was a ash tray on the table.
proximity to places of interest. poor value for money; pathetic facilities; bad & old furniture; no customer service.
Umm, it wasn't too far from the casino's? Yes, It was a question. Overall poor hotel. Not some place we would have stayed had there been other available options.
Close Proximity to AC and OC beaches. Price. Lots of restaurants around. Rooms was big. Nice TV. Easy access from main roads. Room had ants. Bed was uncomfortable and hard. Towels were tiny and not fluffy. Paint was peeling off wall. No microwave. Not all lights worked. Shower pressure was terrible. Front desk staff was unorganized. Knob to AC was broken.
Nothing There were bugs crawling all over the filthy beds. After 20 minutes in the room, we noticed this and left. Guy at the desk argued with us over it and was extremely rude. Trying to get a refund for this. Don't stay here
We stayed here because we wanted to spend the weekend at Atlantic City but all of the places directly in AC were a bit too pricy. This place worked out well. Everything was pretty clean. The room was big. We had everything we needed. There were a few of those really tiny ants in the sink but honestly it's not a big deal.
The hot water didn't get real hot
Thank you for a nice staff and good performance
Comfortable bed, mostly clean Did not have the amenities promised, coffeemaker dirty
Owner was very nice Place smelled awful, chairs in room were stained/smelly, we checked in which took 10 minutes went to room there was food already in the fridge from previous residents, the smell of spices or incense caused me to have an asthma attack we left after 10 minutes owner asked if all was ok on our way out we said yes rather than hurt his feelings - You get what you pay for and we didn't ask for refund instead moved to a $271 per night clean oceanfront resort. Photo of room was accurate 10 years ago - now looks like a method lab crime scene from Law and Order or Criminal Minds8
The staff does not even speak a good english. I will never recommended that hotel.
Our room was a little dirty. We ordered a roll away bed and received no pillows or blankets for the bed.
The only positive thing was that it was right off the express way & checking out meant dropping your key in a mailbox so u could get out of the dump asap. Basically everything... Manager didn't assign us a non smoking room, even though booked 4 months in advance. Then argued with us that we didn't book it in time. When we got to see the second room the sink didn't work, the wallpaper was coming off (due to the fungus growing behind it), the rug+chairs+sheets had stains in them, there was a thick layer of dust on the cupboard. Further more the bed had life in it besides us, lay awake all night due to itching. Emailed the manager about the sink so it wouldn't get charged on our credit card and she even started a bit of an arguement.
The location being relatively close to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City made attending the A10 Basketball tournament easily accessable. We booked a room with a king size bed but when we arrived we were told, rather curtly, that we were in a double and that we would only have maid service once during our four day stay. The young lady seemed unconcerned in telling us this. They did replace the towells daily if we put the used towells outside our door. The facility, furniture and interior are old and not well kept. Some electrical outlets did not work, especially the one in the sink area where the hair dryer was that didn't work either. Paint was bad, wallpaper coming off, baseboards loose and black mold behind the loose baseboards in the bathroom. Bathtub had no stopper so taking a bath wasn't possible. Furniture was a shambles. Falling apart, drawers broken, etc.
The person in charge of the hotel was really pleasant and helpful for everything. The room was smelling really bad (cigarette). The bed cover was really old with some burn on it. The light in the room was not working. The place need really to be take care of it. I will never fo there anymore and I won't recommend this place to anyone.
Good staff. Generally clean rooms. Some dust accumulation on lamps no longer in use in room.
I liked the comfortable bed the cleanliness of the room and the jacuzzi in my room
Location was the only redeeming factor. The hotel was not three stars. Would rate 1.5 max. Poor value for price paid. Could hear conversation in adjacent rooms.
