Pros (+) Excellent and friendly staff. Nice sized indoor pool. Healthy but doable walk to scenic areas and metro.
Cons (-) Has the "modern" room set up with a glass door bathroom, so the other person is disturbed by the light shining through. Beware that you will be charged 2.5 euros for each coffee pod beyond the two offered! Gym is small but workable.
Pros (+) Beautiful palace built by a 19th Century cocoa importer made a Count by the King. Magnificent building, professional and friendly staff, excellent breakfast included, comfortable rooms and good (not great) fitness center, spa and pool.
Cons (-) Not as many drawers for clothes as would be ideal; no facecloths in bathroom (only towels), location is 1+ mile away from the main activities so cabs are required.
