Beautiful, clean and comfortable
John Glendeven and the staff were wonderful. The breakfasts were amazing and the room was lovely. My husband and I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the Inn to others.
My one complaint is the noise from the guests above our room. We could here them talking and walking around until late into the evening. The guests above were not loud, the room was just not well insulted from the noise. We would probably select an upstairs room next time or make sure no one is staying above since the room was so charming.
Beautiful property, amazing room with a view of the ocean and the on site llamas. The room was gorgeous. The bed/bedding was amazing-so comfortable. Lovely robes are also provided. A lot of thought has gone into the service element of this Inn. The staff are professional and helpful, everything was explained on arrival. We had a personalised parking space on arrival (a surprise and delight feature!) The guests are offered a glass of wine and a small selection of canapes which is a lovely way to settle and catch your breath once you have unloaded the car and settled into the room). There is a small shop with a selection of cookery books, picnic food and wine. It has a very upmarket feel. You can feed the chickens and are free to pet the Llamas and watch the beautiful blue birds at the feeder. The small town is a few miles drive away and we went there for dinner (recommendations from the reception staff) - we ate at Luna, the Italian restaurant. The breakfast was good. Freshly made, high quality ingredients, healthy and served on a tray, delivered to your room. I wish I had booked a 2 night stay to be able to enjoy the inn more and explore the lovely local coastal area.
Fresh tea and coffee was available in the main house which is great but I personally prefer to have tea making facilities in my room for an early morning cuppa. What can I say ? I'm British! It did not spoil my stay, nor would it stop me booking again - just a comment.
Such a beautiful property with flowers, trees, llamas, chickens! We were in a very nice updated room, the breakfast that they bring to your door in the morning is great with such a cute “picnic” style presentation. Staff was amazing with great info if needed!
Location was serene and quiet. Bed was the most comfortable we ever slept on. Appreciated the mini fridge and microwave, along with eating area. Staff were pleasant and professional. Easy check in even though we were late. They left keys and instructions on how to find our room. I liked the morning fruit/granola bake. Cookies and coffee in the lobby were great.
The room decor was lacking considering the amount we paid for the room. The walls were plain and the furniture (except for the comfy bed) was dorm-like. Worst part was the flooring. There was no carpet which made the room feel clammy and we couldn't walk without our shoes. Some may like that since it is muddy outside if you are walking the grounds. But I thought carpet would have really added to warmth and decor. Breakfast was delivered right on time but rather plain and almost the same two mornings in a row.
