Pros: Everything about the lodge exceeded our expectoration! The view from our deck was breathtaking, the bed was big and very comfortable, we had an indoor and outdoor shower, and the staff came twice a day to clean and freshen up the room. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were always happy. Our ranger went above and beyond to make sure we saw all the Big 5 and did an incredible job at explaining how the animals live and communicate with each other
Pros: Everything! The game drives were excellent and the amenities were fantastic. Not to mention the incredible staff. Will absolutely come back!
Cons: Nothing this place is amazing, magical and allowed me to see these animals so close and felt safe at all times. Elephant Plains was the highlight of my trip to South Africa
Pros: Great lodge! Staff are fantastic. Special thanks to Dillon our Ranger/Driver and Life our Tracker. We saw the big five plus thank to Life a leopard take down a small antelope. Amazing stay.
Pros: The level of service was incredible. Friendly, helpful staff who went above & beyond. Facilities were beautiful & everything possible was done to make the stay feel luxurious
Pros: This place is amazing and the rangers go well out of their way to find the animals. It’s small and friendly and was the best first safari.
Cons: Wi if only available in main building which we liked, we were able to switch off but if you want 24 7 WiFi it would be a problem
Pros: Clean and well organized
Pros: This place is just perfect. Everything at the highest level - delicious meals, clean, well-equipped rooms, friendly, hospitable staff. Safari with our guides was a wonderful adventure, we saw a lot of animals, many times from a very short distance. The guides were great - one of them was a great driver, the other had an extremely good eye for finding animals.
Cons: A small disadvantage were two small tears in the mosquito net. However, we did not see any mosquitoes or other insects in our house.
Pros: The property is ok. Make sure you request a renovated room. The rooms have decks overlooking a dry riverbed and a watering hole both of which attract a lot of animals.
Cons: The internet is a nightmare! It only works in the restaurant and bar and they give you a random user ID and password that you have to use every single time your phone goes to sleep! It is insane! Also, some rooms have not been renovated and are in dire need of attention. Not sure why they are giving them to people. The renovated rooms are nice.
Pros: The game drives were simply incredible! And our ranger was very knowedgeable, answering every question we had with plenty of details. The food served at the lodge was very good, and the staff very fiendly and available to our requests.
Cons: Only negative aspect is that you need to pay a fee when entering the park gate and reach the lodge. I understand that this fee is for the park and not the lodge, so it has to be paid to access every lodge within the park. However this fee is is not specified anywhere on the booking page, and it would be nicer to know before booking, and not after reaching the destination.
Pros: Amazing! We received the best service. All the employees answered all our needs and more, Safari instructors are super professional and patient. The hotel is well decorated with small details in mind. An unforgettable experience!
When you stay at Leopard Hills in Kruger National Park, you'll be in a provincial park and steps from Londolozi Game Reserve. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The best stay experience we have ever had. The rooms are incredible - luxurious, tasteful and stocked with everything you could desire. We had a lovely view of the watering hole from our room. The food at the lodge is outstanding. The staff is superb - they are friendly, more than helpful, and go out of their way to accommodate any requests you might have. The viewings were fantastic. We saw the Big 5 within our first 2 game drives. Due to the small size of Sabi Sands, the controls on the number of vehicles allowed at any one points, and the wonderful rangers at Leopard Hills, we were able to witness some truly remarkable animal viewings. Absolutely wonderful experience - we cannot wait to come back.
With a stay at Hamiltons Tented Camp in Kruger National Park, you'll be in a national park, just steps from Manyeleti Game Reserve. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff are amazing here- they go out of their way to make your stay amazing and memorable! Great game drives, lovely food and beautiful setting.
Cons: The rooms and the wooden walkway would benefit from some updating
Pros: Beautiful colonial setting in the bush
Cons: food could have been better
Pros: The location was amazing, but the staff made everyday spent worth being there in the first place.
Pros: My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Hamilton's. Beautiful camp, the tented rooms were private and connected by raised walkways, which was good because our first afternoon we saw a mama and baby elephant right alongside the walkway and kind of froze in place hoping she didn't come over and knock us over! The tents were luxurious with an outdoor shower overlooking the river. The food was very healthy and plentiful, we ate way way too much. The game drives with our guide Themba were so much fun (sundowners as the sun was setting) and we saw so much, including a young leopard with an impala kill sort of nesting/feasting 2 minutes walk from our camp. I cannot say enough about the staff because they make Hamilton's what it is. Ben, Nathaniel and Mophert were there when we arrived and when we left and they took such good care of us. There were several other staff members on shift during our stay that I wish I remembered their names now, including the chef who was amazing! Our last day and night we were the only guests which made it seem extra special. That evening the staff surprised us with a romantic candlelight dinner in our tent after trying to convince us that while we were out on safari baboons had destroyed our tent and belongings (my husband fell for it and was expecting the worst but I suspected that there was no way they would make a mistake of forgetting to lock a door). Nathaniel catered to us for our special meal and we really appreciated it. The morning we left we followed the driving route that Ben recommended and saw 5 lionesses alongside the road waiting for a couple of impala to get closer! I would love to come back again and highly recommend Hamilton's for a relaxing and fun safari experience.
Pros: Property extremely luxurious, staff highly professional and friendly. Stay was excellent and food and experience too. Highly recommend!
Pros: The camp badly needs a facelift and renovations done but the staff made our stay a magical one. Every single staff member was welcoming, friendly, funny and their only focus was on making guests have a fantastic time - they treated us like royalty. Food was fantastic - every course.
Cons: Property needs to be upgraded
Pros: The location and the romance of a time gone by.
Cons: Needs maintenance and a thorough deep clean. It’s dirty.
Pros: The location and facilities were unique, an area of stunning natural beauty! Everything was clean and we have to mention, that they put a big effort to every single detail. A warm welcome on arrival, attentive service and a personal atmosphere ensured that we felt thoroughly comfortable during our entire stay. Our guide was exceptional and exceeded our expections. Furthermore, the staffs goodbye performance at the end was a warm and sincere surprise too.
Cons: There is nothing what we didn't like.
Pros: Being on the river bed with no fencing, plenty of wild animals, only a few guests, friendly staff, amazing food, bathtub overlooking the dry riverbed with animals passing through.
Pros: Excellent service, perfect safaris, animals just in front of our balcony
When you stay at Inyati Game Lodge in Kruger National Park, you'll be on a river and 20.2 mi (32.5 km) from Paul Kruger Entrance Gate. Featured amenities include a computer station, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Event facilities at this lodge consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The meals were simple adequate and delicious . Never left the table either underfed or stuffed with food . Exactly what one would expect from a Game lodge that does not try and be a boutique hotel as well . The game drives were informative and excellent and the drivers and spotters were excellent ambassadors for the Lodge . Fellow guests were also part of the enjoyment
Cons: Have to think hard and honestly cannot come up with anything
Pros: stayed here twice before - have found the service has gone down a bit. cecelia was very accommodating and helpful
Cons: staff were not as attentive tables were not set drinks/ barmen were not very good quality of the food options was not at its best. game ringer - did not communicate very well
Pros: A magical stay at Inyati. Staff were incredibly friendly and we had the most amazing guide who showed us the most wonderful time.
Pros: The highlight and reason for selecting this venue was the daily game drives- sensational. Food and accomodation was very good.
Cons: Location was a little remote and the drive in wasn't that well sign posted. However this was a minor negative overall as the experience was outstanding
Pros: Good service, Clean and perfect game drive. Thank you go George our guide and Solly the tracker who had been informative and patience so we got to see some animals interaction during our game drive. Although we only stayed for 2 days but it was a great experience.
Pros: Inyati Lodge's chief virtues are its staff, its smooth operation, and its location. The staff people in the lodge are very warm and professional, and the trackers and guides are notable for their expertise. Our guide, Matt, provided an incredible education about the animals and the environment in just two days. The schedule at the lodge seems odd at first, but quickly one realizes that it is perfectly timed to get everyone where they need to be. And the location is superb--The guides all work together to ensure that everyone sees what they want to see. Pretty soon driving around through tiny paths and across open brush seems natural and relaxing.
Cons: Only thing I could think of would be to schedule dinner a little earlier--more quickly after the safaris return. So it would not end so late, thereby shortening sleep possibilities.
With a stay at Nkorho Bush Lodge in Kruger National Park, you'll be a 1-minute drive from Mala Mala Game Reserve and 5 minutes from Manyeleti Game Reserve. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, laundry facilities, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Excellent structure, very good game drives, experienced guides. For sure you will see the Big 5.
Pros: The amazing staff and game drives
Cons: Lots of bugs. A mosquito net to keep bugs away when sleeping would make it perfect!
Pros: It is all about location: we stayed 4 nights and had great sightings of leopards, lions and wild dogs in the first 2 day's. The other 2 day's it was a bit less (no leopards and wild dogs anymore), but that is what happens during Safari. The lodge itself was nice, but overpriced
Cons: The ranger seems to have lost the enthusiasm for the job. He was rude to some guest that did not speak english too well. On the other hand we had a great tracker.
Pros: We loved the staff and the game drives. Absolutely wonderful.
Cons: Food was hit or miss. Some meals were wonderful (venison stew!) and others were meh (frozen appetizers for lunch?!!). It was unpredictable.
Pros: Great staff and great service. Awesome place to be and the leopards in the area are amazing
Cons: They allow for children. They handle it well but the children are too noisy
Pros: Such incredible rangers and one of the few Sabie Sands lodges that remains affordable (in comparison to the going rate). the pictures on their website actually undersell the facilities - everything was great. I also know they are undergoing a refurb in Nov but not planning to raise prices. FYI there IS air con. I found this confusing to tell online
Pros: Nkhoro is a small facility, so not more than 16 or so people in the lodge at any given point in time. We are vegetarians and had let them know in advance, and they took great effort to make sure we had vegetarian food at all meals. The staff is friendly and helpful. We saw a leopard mom with 2 small cubs and that was a real treat.
Cons: The size of the reserve is very small. They are not allowed to drive into Kruger or any of the other private concessions. The main issue was that we constantly saw constuction/green scaffolding cloth, buildings, and other man-made structures during our game drives, which didn't give much of a sense of being in the bush (we had just spent 4 days self-driving in Kruger, so the difference was stark). Also, the drive to the lodge (esp. via Acornhoek) was terribly nerve-racking - filled with huge pot-holes for several miles and the staff completely neglected to mention this to us. The place is a pain to reach, especially if you are spending time in Kruger. The animals are used to jeeps and people and aren't as 'wild' as they are in Kruger.
Pros: Our stay was excellent, the drives were impressive and the atmosphere was breathtaking
Pros: The experience from checkin to checkout was phenomenal. Upon arrival we were greeted with a refreshing towel and cold water. The game drives (in our case led by ranger dawie) at 5.30 am and 4 pm were excellent, we were given free mosquito spray as well as water, chocolates etc every day. We saw the big 5 + wild dogs (quite rare). The pool and deck on the premise are great to relax in and the massage was excellent. Breakfast and lunch were extensive and beverages are quite cheap to purchase. Honestly one of the best experiences we’ve had when staying at an accommodation. The people here make you feel really at home. When you do stay make sure you read up on the customary tips for the ranger and tracker (these two are the real MVP’s!). You won’t regret coming here, going to Nkorho is a stay you’ll never forget.
Cons: The only very minor thing was that we weren’t a big fan of the dinner selection. We thought the breakfast and lunch selection of granola, toast, cheeses, charcuterie was really great it’s just that we were not massive fans of the in our opinion heavy dinners in the heat.
Pros: Wow! Amazing place and amazing staff. The room: very comfortable, nice bathroom and a very cool outdoor private shower! Game drives: I know it’s sometimes more luck, but we saw so many animals it’s crazy!! We had Call as our ranger and Chris as our tracker- they were so nice, and it really felt like they are taking the extra mile to help us see more animals. The place: there’s a waterhole/dam near camp and it brings a nice amount of animals. Food: great food! Very tasty. You will not be hungry here (we actually felt like we were over fed haha). We didn’t go on any bushwalks because we saw so many animals on the drive and preferred to drive a bit more than to walk.
Cons: Really nothing bad!

Pros: Very good situation. You will need 2min to go to the entrance of the Paul KrugerGate. Dinner buffet and breakfast included I will recommend to everyone who’s going to visit Kruger Don’t hesitate and book a room
Pros: Well situated near Paul Kruger gate. Restaurant is nice and the food is good
Cons: Some members of the staff didn’t answer to our expectation. Rooms are outdated .
Pros: Good location. Nice facilities.
Cons: Staff not always friendly. Renovation was ongoing with pool area/ sun beds unavailable. This was not announced beforehand.
Pros: Very Friendly Staff, Outstanding Breakfast Buffet and Dinner at Boma area! See you Soon!
Cons: The 2nd half of the Road from Hazyview to the Hotel is bad.
Pros: The property is well situated. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful
Cons: The rooms are old and not clean. The property was being renovated and we never knew about it. The viewing platforms on the park were closed. The staff, though nice, have not been trained to care for tourists. Very disappointing for the price paid.
Pros: We had dinner and it was very tasty. Great Staff
Cons: Nothing we were happy with everything
Cons: It should be noted that guests should be aware that the property was under serious renovations and for the costs we paid for the two days and not been able to use all the facilities was very disappointing
Pros: Location. Staff were excellent, very friendly and great service even apologizing when a monkey tried to attack me
Cons: The fact that they were renovating spoilt the ambience
Pros: Being so close to nature

The lodge can arrange transfer to and from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport which is a 2 hour's drive from Simbambili.
Pros: This was an incredible experience! The staff is excellent and the facilities are top notch. The highlight for us was the game drives. That is why we picked Sabi Sands in the first place, and our Ranger, Erich, and tracker, Service, did not disappoint. They both well exceeded our expectations. They went out of their way to find the species of animals we wanted to see. We ended up seeing all the big five, including a group of lionesses hunting at night and a leopard eating an impala in a tree. This was just in two days. Erich stayed out later than the normal time so we could keep watching the lionesses. You can tell they love what they do and that made the experience all the greater. It was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend. It was quite an investment to stay there for two days but it was well worth it and I am so happy we chose Sambabili and we lucked out with Erich and Service. The other Rangers also seemed excellent by the way and all are very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna.
Cons: Nothing. It was quite an investment to stay there for two days but it was well worth it.
Pros: The lodge is simply a dream, it oversees the savannah and you can see animals drinking water from a pond when having breakfast. The suits are amazing: decorated at their best, beds are super comfy and the private pool is a gem. Moreover the staff is super nice and they are always smiling and taking care of you. Food is superb and the rangers are very knowledgeable and we got to see all of the animals during the game drives. I can’t wait to go back! I really recommend this lodge.
Pros: Rooms very confortable. Very Nice game drives. Good excellent !
Pros: Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff felt like family after 3 nights. I cried when we left! Can’t wait to return; this is the most special place on earth. Also - they’ve recently undergone a renovation, so the rooms and shared places look a million times better than the photos.
Pros: Service - excellent all-around, Reinas was excellent butler, Kyle and Rodney were amazing team, concierge always available and helpful, even gave great directions to airport Cleanliness - room cleaned throughout the day, common areas very nice Food - amazing quality and variety, enjoyed the drive snacks and all the meals, variety of dinner settings was nice Room - amazing private villa with intimate setting among animals but safe, nice bed
Cons: Gym was small and treadmill was wobbly, could use new machines and more space in gym Towels were plush but frayed, could use new A couple of drives were cut short or delayed due to other guests arriving late. I'd rather not have my schedule impacted by other guests
Pros: All! Especially the staff. Justin, our ranger, who gave us so many insights and background of the wildlife and its preservation, Willis, our tracker, with incredible experience and sight for details, not to forget about his perfect Moccacino (Coffee with Chocolate). Then the staff in the hotel, July and Glory, who read the wishes from our minds, and the managing team (Mike and Tanya). We really felt like being part of the family and would 100% recommend this place to stay for a great and unique experience!
Pros: Everything was terrific. From the welcome and introduction to the game drives, food, and service. We had some terrific sightings every day and really enjoyed the staff. Thanks to all!
With a stay at Rhino Post Safari Lodge in Kruger National Park, you'll be 15.8 mi (25.4 km) from Manyeleti Game Reserve and 8.4 mi (13.5 km) from Londolozi Game Reserve. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Amazing game drive with the guide Banga, very friendly and super passionated. Great food and very personal service Confortable room giving the real into the wild experience
Cons: It was winter time so the room was a bit cold.
Pros: The location was completely at one with nature bordering on magical. The staff in general and our guide Bonga in particular could not have done more to make our stay better. I would highly recommend this venue if you really want a true African safari experience in fantastically friendly and wonderful surroundings.
Pros: In a great part of the Kruger, situated along a dry river bed, abundance of animals and wild life. Rustic, but very comfortable.
Pros: The whole trip was Unbelievably good. I was celebrating my 70 th birthday with my whole family and it could not have been any better. No effort was spared and nothing was too much trouble for any single member of the staff. Game drives were incredible and guides excellent. You have to have luck for sure but we were super lucky and will be back for sure.
Cons: Nothing to report.
Pros: The hotel is inside Kruger in a wonderful place! The game drivers were amazing and the food was really good. We loved our time in Africa!
Cons: Unfortunately you have to put all your belongings in the locker. A bottle of perfume was stolen inside our room and they sad that could be the baboons (monkeys). It is really sad to see that this habit could be common in Africa.
Pros: Amazing service. Incredibly personal and exclusive
Pros: location; personnel attitude; food; game watching (with Bonga).
Cons: no sparkling wine by glass; it was simply impossible to regulate water temperature in outside shower; no shower at inside bath (where the water was ok).
Pros: Great location and very private and comfortable individual lodges. Excellent food - high quality as well as varied and plentiful. Lovely friendly staff and all very well organised. We had a great guide Ryan who showed us some beautiful sights. We only wish we could have stayed longer to also do the walking safari.
Pros: great location between wild animals. helpfull staff and friendly. game drive was excellent! very good breakfest and a nice snak at noon.
Cons: in the cabin- wont able to close hermeticly the balcony door- insects came in. dinner main dishes can do better
Cons: considering the high standards of this accomodation and its corresponding high rates, i think the basic drinks (dinner and minibar) should be included in the price

Pros: The staff is very attentive and caring. The game drive is excellent and the guide is very knowledgable. The WiFi can be a bit unpredictable but we can check our email and receive WhatsApp fine. The room is fantastic and we even got to see wildlife there. Eland, impela and even giraffe and elephant would pass by.
Cons: Cannot find of one
When you stay at Simbambili Game Lodge in Kruger National Park, you'll be 1 minutes by foot from Manyeleti Game Reserve. Featured amenities include laundry facilities and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was wonderful, greeting after each arrival with a wet cloth for hands. The ranger on the drives was very knowledgeable, and patient with all questions.
Cons: Housekeeping was spotty. Came back from a drive and ther was no water for a shower and no face cloth, which I needed for a cool compress to my eye, as I was having some eye difficulty.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and our rooms were clean.
Cons: The rooms did not have land lines to phone reception. The standard lodges were a little isolated and far from the entrance
Pros: Although the village is located right next to the street you feel pretty safe. The bee hives are worth an experience.
Cons: The whole village was unfortunately not really finished when we had a sleep over for a night. There are still some things that have to be built which causes an uncomfortable feeling. But there is a lot of potential!
Pros: The African huts which were fully equipped
Cons: On the last eve the electric power went off...in the morning there was no power no water
Pros: Their so called executive rooms were a symbol of their calture. They were quick in attending on thing we don't like. They also made us aware of unexpected things like public bar inside their promises and swimming pool opened for public
Cons: The management style. The wifi was in the reception area only with poor connection. Pool used by public. A public bar inside the premises
Pros: The beds were made nicely with the towels folded in a flower shape. Friendly staff.
Cons: Arriving to our room (around 10pm), we found many bugs of all sorts in the room, in the bathroom and even on the bed. We heard a mouse walking on the ceiling and found excrements from geckos. We went back to the reception to report this and to ask for a different room. The receptionist called the management and allowed us to go in a more expensive room, which turned out to be a hut and it did look cleaner at first sight, so we accepted the room. However as we turned over the pillows in preparation to go to bed, we found various (live and dead) bugs inside the bed. There were also dead bugs in the bathroom and on the floor. We understand that we were in an area full of insects and that it’s hard to avoid them getting into the room, but having them jumping around in the bed was a no-go for us. We slept in the car that night, parked next to the hut.
Pros: Cultural set up feel.
Cons: Its combined with open pool to the community. For the 2 nights we stayed couldn't sleep because the entertaiment that was happening was 6 to 6. Our basin didn't have water.
Pros: It is close to Kruger Park.
Cons: They have charged on my credit card 3 times more than the total amount. After a few e-mails and phone calls they refunded me the amount. When we arrived, the receptionist could not find our reservation, then he could not find the key of the bungallow. We got towels and soaps only for 1 person, however we booked for 2. A small animal got into our bungallow and stole my earrings. With some effort it could be a very nice accommodation, but it seemed a bit neglected.
Pros: The structure of the rooms and the design of those rooms it's Marvelous keep it up I was just worried about the security Ididn't know how was the security but I was rest assured
Cons: The noise until 02h00
Pros: Nothing it was very dirty
Pros: Pricing n value was good
Cons: The pool party made lots of noise and under age drinking. We also struggled at gate bcause of drunk people
