Location was nice, very quite when getting the ferry to canary wharf and wondering around there. People were very pleasant. They fulfilled my request for rose petals on the bed also.
I had paid for the king suite and my check-in was delayed by an hour.
It took a while on the tube to get to the centre of London. The beds weren’t great and kept squeaking.
Great view, easy access for travel to planned activities and bed was nice and comfy
Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of fruits, the coffee machine was an excellent idea and the pancakes and omelletes prepared by the chefs were delicious! Also the staff at breakfast were very polite and helpful.
The cleaniness wasn't efficient, the sheets weren't changed and the floor covered with a dark grey carpet was very dirty, filthy I should say. Also the room insulation was very bad, I could hear the steps and voices from the upper floor. But what was worst of all was the behavior of some of the staff in the reception. Specifically a lady who was rough and rude. And imagine that I had fully prepaid my room two months before my stay!
-Toilet blocked -Executive lounge was rubbish(mostly water in fridge, a board of cheese and no seats as was full) -Room tatty -Robes and towels like cardboard -PrePaid for breakfast had to argue that I’d paid
