Location was great, close to train and metro stations. The hotel also has its own cafe in addition to a full restaurant.
Attention to detail is lacking. We asked for a baby crib be added to the room before we arrived as it would be late. Not only was there no baby crib in the room, we requested it be sent up and they sent slippers. There were no fridges in each room which means you have to use the front desk’s fridge. We had our 1 year olds milk put in that fridge however it was put in the freezer. Making it unusable. They didn’t offer to replace it or anything. This wasn’t the hotels fault but someone (drunk) pulled the fire alarm at 1am requiring everyone to go outside in the cold. I have to say the hotel did their best to apologize to everyone but with all this combined we won’t be back.
Pros. The location is very central
Cons. The breakfast in the executive lounge needs to be upgraded most of the hot items are cold the choices are limited
Pros. Room size is good
Cons. Cleanliness, hospitality, room service, housekeeping, poor heating
Pros. The lobby, check in, restaurants, and sitting areas are generous and pleasant. I chose this hotel for its convenience to the Heathrow Express train and local underground lines, and it did nit disappoint. There is also a lovely canal nearby with restaurants for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a beer. In the lobby, the customer service was world class.
Cons. Our room was in the Tower, an older part of the hotel. I specifically booked Hilton because I wanted excellent quality beds and a room comfortable for my elderly mother. The room was tiny, with a dangerously high step into and out of the combination bath/shower. The beds were of poor quality with creaky springs. The mini fridge did not work. This is acceptable for a budget tourist hotel, but this room severely degrades the Hilton Brand. It should not be sold under the Hilton flag. My mother and I independently compared the room to a Motel 6. If you stay here, request a room in the newer portion of the hotel. Hopefully it's better.
Pros. Good breakfast
Cons. Rooms way to expensive for the quality. Rooms old, air-conditioning broken and stinky
Pros. central location, clean room
Pros. Location, nice reception
Cons. Rooms could do with a revamp, breakfast buffet was very busy with things running out and people being messy
Cons. After doing online check in with room numbers allotted to me, my one of the room was allotted to someone else. This is ethically wrong. I had booked the hotel with extended stay but checked out the next day.
Pros. Very comfortable beds location was a little far from downtown
