The hotel is nice. The bar and other facilities are also nice. The staff do not pick up the phone. They also don’t fulfill promises for things as simple as refilling body wash and shampoo after promising twice. The manager on Aug 16 was sooo disrespectful. She needs to go through thorough training and reconditioning. She told me I was unrealistic for expecting my face towel to be replaced and this was because I was American. Very rude, cut me off every time I was trying to explain what I needed.
Pros. Love the daily breakfast buffet and the gym/pool/spa.
Pros. It was my birthday . There was birthday cake in my room on arrival, we d also asked for a room with a view, our room was over looking the Shard. This was great as my birthday treat was diner at the Shard. Pool and gym was great. Being able to leave our bags before and after check in was great.
Cons. There was nt anything I did my like.
Pros. Overall stay was ok. IMHO there are better options closer to the London landmarks.
