Friendly, helpful staff, ideal location for Paddington Station & Hyde Park. Thank you, we'll be back.
More crackers & cheese at breakfast or fruit & yoghurt ??
Cakes cooked by the owners wife. I had plenty of banana cake!!!!!
Erm, the bathroom/shower was the smallest I've ever seen and the last guests rubbish was left under the bed! I thought that the 'breakfast included' would have been more substantial.
Really friendly family run hotel in the perfect location for a weekend in central London, with breakfast included. Easy to find and close to the tube station.
The coffee and tea in the room was limited. We stayed for 2 nights and used the coffee and milk in the room on the first day but they did not refill the milk cartons or coffee in the room for the second day when they cleaned the room. The cooked breakfast was limited to fried eggs which were in with the chopped sausages, baked beans with tomatoes mixed in and a strange vegetable combination of carrots, mushrooms and peas. I think the tomatoes should be separate from the baked beans, the eggs separate from the sausages for those that are vegetarian and the mushrooms should be fried without the veg and the option of scrambled egg would have been nice. This would have made it perfect.
It’s ridiculously close to Paddington and the staff were nice. Those are the only positives. Based on similar experiences in central London, this would be good value at £70 for solo, or £85 for duo.
It is tired, worn and dated. Everything corner that could be cut was. You have to surrender your key each time you leave the property, and ring a buzzer every time to get back in. The “en-suite” is a prefabricated plastic cupboard where I can simultaneously use the loo, take a shower and wash my hands in the sink. The lobby seems to be a family lounge.
The location was ideal, only a short walk from Paddington station, and surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants.
