With a stay at Buccaneer Beach Club in St. John's (Dickenson Bay), you'll be a 1-minute drive from Dickenson Bay Beach and 10 minutes from Fort James. Featured amenities include a computer station, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staffs are well behaved
Cons: They don't have any restaurant and we booked a room with extra price...it was supposed to be pool facing but they gave a room which is not pool facing.
Pros: Friendly staff, always ready to help. The rooms are big and fully equipped.
Cons: The repair works in the cafe nearby disturbed a bit.
Pros: Great , they renovated the Beach Restaurant just in time for my arrival, LOL; It used to be called Coconut Grove and Jermaine is still the best!
Pros: We stayed in one of the cottage with my daughter and boyfriend. We loved being able to walk out of our cottage and barefoot to the beach.....location...location..location. We traveled around the island a bit in search of other beaches, but we loved our beach. Dickinson's Bay... beautiful calm from sunrise to the magnificent sunsets each evening outside our door. Thank you for a relaxing stay. NYC
Cons: The music from the coconut grove restaurant became a bit annoying. It started some mornings at 7:00 am until 10.00 pm. They could face the huge speaker away from the cottages and to the other side.
Pros: Excellent accomodation and location. Well kept in nice garden, next to the beach. Very friendly staff, early check-in no problem. Quiet location (off season).
Cons: Beach area belonging to Buccaneer beach a bit small, but left and right on beach a lot of alternative locations.
Pros: This place was wonderful. The staff were super nice, a feeling of comfort and friendliness is all around, you get to know the staff also which just feels homey and comfortable. They did everything to make sure I had a good stay, even answered all kinds of stupid questions I had (I was travelling alone, sometimes it's possible that I just wanted to talk). To me, this was a better place to be than in an all incl. resort. Also, as someone mentioned here in the reviews, the rooms look SO much better than they do on the pictures, very well kept and super clean everywhere! The beach front was cozy. There are some restaurants/bars around, but also a huge supermarket not so far from it. I think a taxi was around 12 USD to go to it and shop, but a walk is also not bad at all. Takes around 20-30 minutes each way. St John's is also not far, not sure how much a taxi takes, but I took a local bus for 3 EC and was great (You just have to wait for the bus and get lucky). Highly recommend this place.
Cons: Right now there is construction work right next to it, it's not so bad with the noise, and it should be done very soon. This is not a minus, just a note :)
Pros: Beautiful quaint place, the staff from the maid to the manager were the friendliest, most helpful staff of anywhere we’ve ever stayed.
Cons: That the restaurant next door was being torn down and loud construction. It will be great as soon as they rebuild the restaurant, no restaurants nearby, you have to taxi everywhere unless you have a car.
Pros: The staff are lovely especially Oscar and receptionists. Lovely gardens with orchids grafted into palm trees. Humming birds. Effective air conditioning and spacious clean cottage/room. Beach beds. Free ice. The whole place is quiet and peaceful.
Cons: The building works next door. Lack of eating places in close walking distance.
Pros: Very nice and comfortable- I will return.
Pros: Lovely spacious accommodation set in beautifully kept gardens. Right on the beach with plenty of loungers. A perfect spot for viewing the sunset each evening! Great pool and a BBQ area that you could reserve. Staff were very helpful and went out off their way to make our stay more enjoyable- the guy looking after the beach loungers even returning my camera to me when I left it on the beach!
Cons: It was all perfect!
When you stay at Blue Waters Resort and Spa in St. John's, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Dickenson Bay Beach and Fort James. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Wonderful location
Cons: Dining room buffet with birds allowed to peck on the food.
Pros: This is a (Brit) family owned resort and they are very hands on - Director flies out very regularly to check everything is just right. The results show, and by good comparison with the big corporate chain resorts.
Pros: Staff could not be more friendly or helpful! Fabulous place and incredibly well run
Pros: Very beautiful garden ,nice views, Tranquility with style. Also it’s still a high class family hotel! A lot of upper class hotels in Antigua are boring “adults only” hotels in the meanwhile . So,even when i‘m alone travelling ,I would prefer such a normal nice atmosphere. Breakfast was very good!
Cons: At the front desk ,Alicia was incompetent and unfriendly. When I asked for a room ,she told me ,the hotel is full. I used wifi from the hotel to book than my room there via booking com... Afterwards she let me obviously waiting a long time until I got the room. When I asked her if there is a welcome drink offer ,like usually everywhere in Antigua ,she told me „off course“ But she didn’t do anything, that i get something to drink... Kind of rude!
Pros: Rooms were outstanding. Cleanliness was top notch. My daughter and I do not drink, so were on the bed/breakfast plan which does not allow for lighter less expensive dining. I would suggest a revamp of the menu and more availability of less expensive lighter food with more of American options.
Cons: Menu and cost of food if you are not on all inclusive.
Pros: Loved the location, the staff and the ambiance. Absolutely perfect size. Staff friendly and professional beyond bounds. Commend staff members Bella, Derah, TJ and Tario John the head gardiner was wonderful
Cons: Suggestion for the future ... avoid using so many plastic water bottles. Supply visitors with a recyclable water bottle that is branded and have water coolers around to fill up during the day
Cons: Cove Restaurant Food was bland and tasteless for this level of establishment
Pros: They are very kind and helpful
Pros: Meals were great!!! Especially the grilled eggplant!!!! Beds were great also !!!
Cons: I didn’t like that we were ONLY there 8 DAYS!!!!
Pros: Staff and service were excellent in a very warm and friendly way
Cons: Wi-fi was only good in main areas, poor in the rooms

Pros: Cecilia is an AMAZING cook! She is a strong believer in the slow foods movement, and her food is absolutely wonderful! Her sourdough bread was so delicious, and her pancakes were amazing. Definitely eat here!
Pros: Cecilia is a wonderful host! The property is gorgeous, and incredibly clean. It felt like a home away from home! The room was very large, and because the property is secluded, it was very quiet at night. I also enjoyed that the Blue Bay is located away from the areas where tourists congregate. All in all, an amazing week in a beautiful bed and breakfast!
Pros: They were very engaging in any conversations and help and attentive to any of our needs no
Cons: No beach access
Pros: Our host Cecilia was amazing! The a la carte breakfasts were a perfect way to start the day. She even did a few early morning breakfasts on days we had early morning scuba diving plans. Her recommendations for restaurants and beaches were always spot on. She was also helpful with making dinner reservations and setting up tours at local attractions.
Pros: We loved the remote location and the amazing views. We had the king suite. It was comfortable and spacious. Cecilia was a lovely hostess. She helped us arrange a rental car which they delivered directly to us. We enjoyed the full use of the kitchen. There is a mini-market nearby and also a wonderful take away restaurant with homecooked meals (and also seating outside). It is walking distance from both Stingray City and Antigua Paddles but otherwise you must have a car to get around the area.
Pros: Great friendly helpful staff; perfect location next to the ocean; swimming pool; tasty breakfast; comfortable bed; stingray city is nearby; quiet beautiful place; close to the nature; no crime!
Cons: towels need renovation; no TV and AC (but you can sleep on open windows and read book) :)
Pros: Such a wonderful focus on healthy, delicious and locally (either Antiguan or regional) food. So relaxing to sit by the pool on a deck chair and soak in the view, or cosy up for a read in the living room. Perfect for a rejuvenating retreat!
Pros: Simplicity of the place a home away from home with all the traditional features of a Caribbean house. Very cosy and authentic. Cecelia and her family were lovely and welcoming. I loved the natural and eco friendly approach of the B and B. Their cats were lovely, the goats too. Very peaceful.
Cons: Antigua is overpriced and expensive compared to what you can now get in other parts of the world. Value for money is therefore an issue. Whilst a lovely lovely place, it is expensive for what you get.
Pros: Cecilia is an amazing host and the property is beautiful!
Pros: Blue Bay Antigua is a charming, quirky place to stay. Cecelia was so friendly and helpful! The pool and surroundings were stunning. It's best to have a four wheel drive vehicle to stay here (or use taxis) and the restaurants are a little further afield, not next-door. The pretty beach of Long Bay is close by and if we had more time we'd have done the canoe trip to explore the coastline.
Cons: Rough half-mile track to the property but it's not a problem if you have four wheel drive!
With a stay at Antigua Village Beach Resort in St. John's (Dickenson Bay), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Dickenson Bay Beach and Fort James. Featured amenities include a business center, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I loved the access to the beach, restaurant and the view.
Pros: the beach, close, clean, beautiful. staff, helpful, friendly. room, spacious, clean, and nice
Cons: internet, wasnt working in the room, very slow outside, only working by the pool. no restaurants available on the property, and nearby ones are closed or underconstruction, only one available for dinner, and one outside available for lunch, nothing available for breakfast. supermarket doesnt have eggs.
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: Bed was pretty hard
Pros: Not available
Cons: Variety store on property had limited hours and coffee service was expensive
Pros: The beds were very comfortable . Staff was exceptionally nice and friendly.
Cons: There was no food available at hotel.
Pros: The reception staff are always friendly whenever we visit. Love the beach.
Cons: Nothing - great spot, value for money and beach.
Pros: The room was very clean, everything necessary for stay provided.
Cons: We were only at the resort two nights, it appeared well run, so have no complaints.
Pros: Spacious rooms, clean , great staff
Cons: No issues
Cons: The Villa had workers doing work on the property every day for the entire week except wednesday. Even though the work was exterior work, the hammering/ painting and the work men being in a space that was supposed to be quiet and peaceful. No paying customer should have to endure this anywhere.
Pros: We had a one bedroom Villa, Very nice! Over looked the pool and a great view of the ocean. The property was beautiful, the beach was clean and the water a beautiful blue, close to the floating bar, water activities and places to eat and a grocery store. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking and we cooked in room a lot. Even a blender for my Pina Colada’s. The gas ran out for the stove one night. We reported it to the office and it was immediately replaced. Housekeeping was very accommodating.
Located in Willikies, this beachfront property is in a national park and within 1 mi (2 km) of Long Bay and Indian Town National Park. Devil's Bridge and Antigua Botanical Gardens are also within 12 mi (20 km).
Pros: Breakfast was fab. Omelette and smoothie stations excellent. With 5 different eating places there is something for everyone. Bedroom was cool and comfortable, pools lovely, watersports available and guys helpful.
Cons: Bathroom was dated (although extremely clean).
Pros: Fab-u-lous! Best all-inclusive we ever stayed at.
Pros: Place to drop out
Cons: Incessant steel drum music
Pros: The location was beautiful. The room was exactly as described and very comfortable with a wonderful sea view.
Cons: The bathroom although functional with a good walk in shower needs upgrading, not a lot of room to put toiletries in the waterfront room bathroom
Pros: Beautiful beach & grounds! Very clean rooms Excellent staff : all very e& courteous. Delicious food!! Great resort! Highly recommend it!!
Cons: Lights much too dim in room ( ones hanging over beds.)
Pros: The location of our room located above the pool by the Tickled Turtle bar was great, quiet and secluded!! The staff were amazing. The location of the beach was great as you could snorkel right off of it. The laid back feel of the resort was great. The nightly music entertainment was also fantastic.
Cons: The fact that many days of our stay we didn’t have hot water in our shower and more than 4 nights of our stay we didn’t have water at all in the shower. Other guests also voiced they didn’t when speaking with them. To give them credit when staff were alerted they did try to fix it, however it was an on going issue in the 400 block of rooms that needs to be fixed.
Pros: Great location . Well laid out Perfect beach with plenty of sun beds Some staff exceptionally helpful and friendly Comfortable beds
Cons: Shower was a disaster . Low power and temperature impossible to control. Some food not great often recycled in main buffet Lack of seating in main lounge area Some staff not friendly
Pros: Smoothly option
Pros: The staff, amenities, food and event of activities. The beach and location. We met lots of return guests and we plan to be one of them also. The beautiful property landscape.
Cons: The seaweed. Its not your fault and the staff did an excellent job clearing it off the beach.
Located in Willikies, this beachfront property is in a national park and within 1 mi (2 km) of Leeward Islands and Devil's Bridge. Long Bay and Nonsuch Bay are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: Almost everything the same as previous visit (5 years ago). All changes are improvements.
Cons: We don’t like bbqs so didn’t like the pool party.
Pros: I love the Manager for Seabreeze he’s very polite and friendly also the staff. Receptionist are lovely! At dinner they welcomed me and song happy birthday I cried! Definitely coming back
Cons: The grill and bar open and 11 and check out is at 12. They took 30 minutes just to bring the food and I asked if we could carry it to our room cause were checking out soon they said no. So we had to leave the food there. The lady was giving attitude saying there is no foil paper.
Pros: Family friendly, great choice of food and daily variety, kids club personnel was really nice
Cons: Some apartments are really far from everything and you likely need a shuttle frequently (which is a bit inconvenient)
Pros: The breakfasts very good. The staff were all wonderful and the cleanliness everywhere was excellent. Thank you.
Pros: Staff was outstanding.
Cons: The bed sucked.
Pros: Beautiful resort spread out over a wide area so did not feel busy at all. Units are large with plenty of storage space, lovely large bathroom and balcony. We were right next to the pool and restaurants/bar, so could hear the evening entertainment quite clearly, but as we were so tired every evening and in bed by 9pm (due to time difference), the noise did not affect our sleep in the very comfortable bed. Food was excellent and a great selection - as were the drinks at the bar. Staff were all polite and friendly.
Cons: Lack of soundproofing between bungalows so can hear all the goings on next door!
Pros: The 'All Inclusive' is such, no hidden exceptions, my needs were fulfilled - beeches, food, entertainment, fitness room, caring staff and the weather.
Cons: Too much noise in main restaurant, why do Americans have to shout when talking? Small children at the beach too noisy, some older children also noisy, why are they not in school during term time?
Pros: Well planned resort, with good food and facilities. Staff very helpful
Cons: Poor wifi and service in one restaurant was slow
Pros: Enjoyed the omelet station daily! While we enjoyed sight seeing, we would be happy to stay on the resort and enjoy all of the amenities!
Cons: A few supplies could have been offered near guest services in addition to the gift shop at the reception area.
Pros: Friendly staff, good food, loved the water actives and live music.

Pros: Staff are very helpful, you can by icecream at reception, try the Tamarind icecream it's to die for
Pros: Loved the staff and the location.
Cons: Because of the refurbishments, I had to go elsewhere to eat. Once they've finished, it's ack to 5 stars all round!
Pros: Close to beach and restaurants, close to town
Cons: Everything ok just missed the restaurant which was closed for a refurb, whuch we were ore warned of.,
Pros: The staff was very friendly and courteous.
Cons: It was confusing to find the reception office because of the construction going on. It was like a maze so they should try to make the grounds more appealing for their guests. The pool area was not very appealing because of all the bushes. There were no ammenities such as hand soap or toothpaste in the room.
Pros: Close proximity to the beach. Very nice updated rooms, friendly staff.
Cons: Restaurant was closed.
Pros: Room was great as always.
Cons: No heads up on the issue that there is no restaurant or bar in the hotel, remodeling.
Pros: Location was great and convenient - close to beach, close to a few restaurants, not far from St. John's (town). Pool at the property. Pleasant and helpful staff. Room was cleaned daily.
Cons: Standard room was disappointing - very small and not very well lit. No stove and/or microwave.
Pros: Everything the workers are amazing
Cons: I can't complain
Pros: The resort is in wonderful location and the gardens are beautiful
Pros: The entire staff was incredibly nice and very helpful. Also our room was well appointed.
Cons: The property is added some additional rooms so construction is underway.
When you stay at Eko Cozy Guest House in St. John's, you'll be near the beach, within a 10-minute drive of Dickenson Bay Beach and Fort James. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a safe deposit box at the front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Comfortable room
Cons: Sharing bathroom with other guests
Pros: Prince is a wonderful host, he can pick you up at airport and will also help you to some nice tours on the island. The guesthouse is very nice and clean, close to supermarkets and city center. I had a perfect stay in Eko Cozy Guest House.
Pros: The bed was huuuuge. House was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a supermarket just up the road. You can easily walk to both bus stops if you want to take public transport to beaches or you can easily rent a car from the kind owner. This place is ideal for independent travelers or people on a budget. You really get a feel for the local life here yet you can go sit on a beach very easily too if you take the cheap bus. The neighborhood was safe and I felt fine as a woman traveling alone. I saw other reviewers comment that the neighborhood felt unsafe but I need to disagree. Sometimes things look rough around the edges but this is common in lots of urban areas in the Caribbean and I don’t think it should be used to measure whether or not an area is safe.
Cons: You can’t really adjust the AC and I was a bit chilly. Even with the windows closed there was a lot of street noise like loud music from cars or zooming motorcycles. It didn’t bother me but I could see how that may bother someone who isn’t used to it.
Pros: Prince is an excellent host always with a smile. The room is spacious clean and the bed is the biggest and most comfortable we found in similar places in other Caribbean islands. It is a convenient located 10 minutes walk from the city centre.
Cons: It was not clear during the booking that the bathroom was shared. Breakfast.
Pros: The room was simple and tidy, very clean. Quiet and no noise. Was not in the greatest place but foe what was needed that didn't matter, so no complaints.
Cons: No support from the travel connections. The service is taxis were bad and unhelpful. I luckily made my own arrangements as the booked taxi never turned up.
Pros: This place is great , especially for that price! The owner Prince is super friendly and helps where he can. It's actually a small and very clean house with two rooms, a kitchen , bathroom and a nice balcony to hang out. The house is in a local area with friendly neighbours.its a 2 minute walk to the nearest supermarket or restaurant, also in 10 minutes walk you already at the market place in St. Johns, close to the cruise ship port, restaurants and tourist shopping We stayed there 4 nights and had a great time.
Pros: Eko Cosy is as the name suggests, cost, very fresh and clean. The room is very much on par with what you may get at a decent hotel. It's conveniently located just on the outskirts of town. Great for the budget traveller.
Cons: Not a thing.
Pros: The host, Prince, was extremely helpful and also provides a taxi service which was very convenient. There is a small grocery store a few blocks away which was handy. The kitchen is complete and it's easy to make meals.
Pros: Very friendly owner and daughter, helpful at all times. Well situated close to town, buses and shops. Lovely big room in a house with all facilities.Wifi and netflix good.
Pros: Prince and his daughter were very good host always no hand to help they were both very friendly people
Cons: It’s not that I didn’t like it but the main road is close by and could be noisy at times but not all the time
With a stay at Trade Winds Hotel in St. John's (Dickenson Bay), you'll be a 1-minute drive from Dickenson Bay Beach and 8 minutes from Fort James. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staff was excellent!
Cons: Cold water only & generally not a good value for the money
Pros: The view from our hotel room. Good internet access The breakfast (English and Antiguan)
Cons: The bathroom towels were on the small side
Pros: The food was excellent. And the staffs were very helpful.
Cons: Did not find anything we don’t like
Cons: Didn’t like how the bathroom was situated
Pros: Very friendly hotel in old fashioned Caribbean style. Excellent food. A number of Airline crew stay there making it even more fun!
Pros: Really cute property. Extremely well maintained. Exceptionally nice and competent staff. Restaurant food and service were both A+.
Pros: The staff were ultra friendly and very helpful with organising taxis, restaurant bookings. Great vibe in the hotel with spectacular views. Room had masses of space and a balcony.
Cons: The cocktails could be improved. Rather too sweet for our liking.
Pros: Views were amazing.
Cons: Service was shocking.
Pros: great hotel, located on the hill over looking Dickenson Bay, great views, and away from the hustle of the beach. staff were very friendly and attentive, the reception team let us leave our suitcases at the hotel two days prior to us checking in, which meant that we didn't have to carry them over to Montserrat. Food at the Restaurant was excellent, with a wide verity of options for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. The restaurant also attracted local dinners, which is alway a good sign. the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the beach and back, which is great for getting back up the hill. The hotel is also used by the BA cabin crew again another good sign.
Cons: nothing to not like, we feel we received good value for what we paid.

Pros: Everything was great! Staff was very nice! The restaurant was amazing! I was with a friend and we really enjoyed our stay! Thanks to Rossana we were able to book the best tours ever! Very clean and great location! I would love to come back!!
Pros: Great location, laid back staff but very helpful. Food and outside bar area, beaches, trips. Eco approach to be commended. Great gardens.
Cons: Rooms are comfortable but very dated and in places, tired. Shower was very tricky to set temperature. The white and rose wine was poor. Even with inclusive we’d have expected better quality. On a few occasions at breakfast the service was poor; took a long time to order a coffee. This seemed to depend on a couple of staff who were not attentive.
Pros: I highly recommend it. Kindness, respect and service of the hotel staff is excellent. It is a very quiet place with a beautiful sea view and many details for the convenience of guests. CONGRATULATIONS! NICCOLÓ AND HIS TEAM ARE THE BEST!
Pros: All is ok
Cons: Noting, all ok
Pros: Location was very nice - taxi driver - close to airport
Cons: The. Buffet food wasnt the best - basic but clean
Pros: Overall the food was tasty and of good quality, and the staff where very friendly and helpfull
Pros: Place was relaxing comfortable 2ould diffinely visit again soon staff very friendly
Pros: The staff is the very best. The location and amenities are awesome
Pros: Staff very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Very responsive to requests via email before travel Massage was excellent - Jill has magic hands!
Cons: Rooms quite basic
Pros: Great Stay friendly staff great evening meals and breakfast. Would highly recommend
Pros: Nice location
Cons: Staff area of improvement is to please become customer friendly and more helpful.
With a stay at Northshore ApartHotel on the beach in St. John's, you'll be near the bay, within a 10-minute drive of Dickenson Bay Beach and Leeward Islands. Featured amenities include express check-in, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Cleanliness, large bed and good tv reception. Nice plants etc, beach very close to property
Cons: Reception although we talked about them calling a taxi for me were still closed at 09.15 this morning. Not everyone has a functioning phone when in the Caribbean... it worked out ok but not the best start to the day when you need to be at the airport for a certain time. Also take bug spray as although room fitted with mosquito net there were many already inside apartment .
Pros: Wonderful room with double balcony at the end overlooking the beach which was 20 feet away, was certainly way better than I thought, waited up for me after later flight. The place was much better than I was expecting, with large fridge freezer, wonderful views and a pleasure to stay. Oh and only 10 minutes by taxi from the airport, it is outside the capital so it avoids all the traffic jams.
Cons: Nothing really, I loved the stay.
Pros: the bed wasn't the greatest first I had 2 twin bed put together looks like a king .I told him its not a king so they change it the next day
Cons: didn't like the toilet was very hard to flush
Pros: We loved the view from the room and the quick access to the beach. The owner of the hotel is very nice and very helpful. The cross breeze through the room made it very comfortable and we only had to use the air conditioners on one quite-warm night. This is not the Ritz Carlton but the view and the beach make up for any possible shortcomings go as far as the room comfort etc. go. If you are looking for perfection than pay more money and go somewhere else. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay that offers good service, great views and a decent beach than I recommend this hotel for sure.
Cons: The only restaurant near the hotel is right next door and the food was expensive and not very good so we decided to cook a few meals in the room (and the fact that we could was awesome!) but the kitchen is lacking some basic things like measuring cups, dish towels, salt and pepper, paper towels and a few other things. We did manage to make it all work so it worked out fine.
Pros: Location was good and hotel next door had a good bar and restaurant
Cons: Just a bit tired but I only stayed one night so it was fine.
Pros: Location on the beach and the arrangement whereby we could share some facilities such as beaches & restaurant in the neigbouring hotel. Big double bed. Off road parking.
Cons: Wifi was spasmodic. Hotel was tired & needed updating (which the management said they were working on). Kitchen lacked adequate equipment, including cutlery and crockery. Supplies such as washing up liquid and tea towel were absent. Some of these can be easily rectified.
Pros: Located next to a great resort. that was the only place around to eat. Manager gave me ride at 5 am to airport and let me check in early.
Cons: The cockroach in the shower required work to get rid of it.
Pros: The location was excellent! Perched right on the shore the views were stunning with access to some of the hotel facilities next door! The owner was very helpful and accommodating for our need. Even changing the room when he realised thyme mother would have issues accessing the room that we’d booked. It was a very pleasant stay and would definitely visit North Shore again!
Cons: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property
Pros: The apartment catered for 3 people easily - thank you. View over the sea/beach was lovely with a lovely balcony.
Cons: It was a little tired.
Pros: Clean, efficient, lovely restaurant next to the hotel and nice beach. Used as a layover for flight, super quick to the airport and would highly recommend for a lay over stop. All good.
Cons: Nothing to note.
Pros: The staff and atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming
Cons: I was booked for the spa and after the service was done then told I had to pay and the amount was really costly.
Pros: The meals were great. Liked the Japanese meal and those who served there. The friendliness of the staff. Interestingly they welcome you back and many remembered your name.
Cons: Did not play prompt attention to: Some dishes were left outside along the way with so many staff walked by without removing the dishes.
Pros: Cafe de bistro, the pizza, barefoot restaurant, courtyard cafe, the big pool, the beach, the clean well maintained area, the photoshop,
Cons: The fact that because of the weather, we were unable to go snorkeling, some of the drinks were not as expected, food options for breakfast could have had more vege options, the cats
Cons: Attitude of younger staff. After many Stays at this property this one was the most dissapointing
Pros: Food, staff and hospitality were good. Night entertainment was great
Cons: Bathroom in the room we stayed in needed upgraded. Tiles looked old and dirty. Mixed matched colours, a cockroach was seen in the bathroom at night.
Pros: The room services were excellent and the food was great
Cons: Loved everything
Cons: The room, no robes, no spirits in room. had to pay up front and stated payment would be made at the property.
Cons: On Friday the 12th of January my finance was sat in a bar chair when a female guest walked over and struck her from behind with a glass knocking her unconscious. The incident happened just after 23:45pm. We had never seen this female before or spoke to her before. The attack was completely unprovoked. The female then left the bar and proceeded to smash more glassware and assault other guests on site. The police were called out and found the female on site. The female was around 5”6 with shorts, a tattoo on the lower leg and a vest top. My finance has sustained serious head injuries and bruising. If you have any information about this attack or witnessed it please can you contact the hotel immediately to help the police enquiry. Thank you
Pros: The cats, reasonable no of restaurants and decent pool close to the beach!
Cons: Given its 6 star rating (by the resort) I would only give it 3.5 star. Took 1 hour wait to check in, our bags were ‘rifled through’ before they got to our room & overall service was incredibly slow, no pool service and difficult to get a sun lounge lounger. We only had a 3 day stay to ‘test the water’ and pleased I did would not return
Pros: Location was excellent, weather was excellent
Cons: Room was tired and in need of repair. Linens were only provided when demanded, including beach towels. Staff's outlook on service was the poorest I have experienced in 35 years through out the region. The Club level is a "fraud" in terms of adding any additional level of attentiveness. Clearly the hotel is mismanaged from the top.
Nestled on the beach, this Jolly Harbour property is just steps from Leeward Islands and Jolly Beach. Hermitage Bay is 2.2 mi (3.6 km) away.
Pros: Beach, entertainment, swimming pool, food was good
Pros: We loved the staff, the entertainment, the swimming pools and the beach was outstanding. The grounds were also well kept and beautiful.
Cons: The room we stayed in was very small, not very modern. The bathroom door was a struggle. It would have been nice to have the facilities of a fridge and a kettle together with tea / coffee / water provided in the rooms. The A/C was also temperamental.
Pros: I love the pool restaurants lime in the night beach environment
Pros: Love the beach, pool and activities.
Cons: Super savers room is more for one person not two.
Pros: BEACH AND GROUNDS WERE NICE
Cons: DIRTY,CONFUSED STAFF,PROPERTY IN POOR CONDITION IN NEED OF COMPLETE RESTORATION
Pros: Staff were very friendly and managed all my enquiries. I travelled alone, but met with a larger group of family and friends as we all attended a wedding during my time in Antigua. Unfortunately one of the ladies I met slipped and fell, badly hurting herself during an evening of heavy rain fall. This involved emergency hospital treatment and meant the last three nights of my stay was changed from being a tourist to becoming a nurse's aide. The hotel helped and although there was a lot of delay to begin with, eventually the hotel worked with us to move things on positively.
Cons: I did not like the fact that the meals were more continental. as a visitor I came to Antigua to eat authentic local food, but this was not readily available in the hotel.
Pros: I like the pool beach the people bringing drinks by the pool
Cons: The aircoditioning wasnt working in the room it heated
Pros: The product was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful. Can’t get better value for money.
Cons: The facilities need a little upgrade but you couldn’t ask for a friendlier environment
Pros: Location is great, staff excellent very friendly
Cons: Hotel can do with a make over bring the fixtures and fittings up to date
Pros: The beach and location
Cons: Very poor standard of accommodation. Needs major modernisation to bring up to decent standard. The main buffet was small, overcrowded and limited. Room was small, depressing and outdated. Even charging devices was challenging. Air conditioning completely ineffective even when I could get it working. Lots of noise 24-7 from outdoor air conditioning plant. Anything not included was very expensive e.g security def. Lots of people bothering you on the beach, some rude. Some staff were great but some appeared disinterested. One day I had to wait at the beach bar for 15 minutes for the server to wake up, despite me trying to get her attention, she was literally asleep at the bar! Won’t post the photo I have of this as I wouldn’t want them to get into trouble but come on! Also, a friend heard same staff member moaning about the number of drinks ordered by some in spite of it being “all inclusive”. Not for me.
Pros: The staff was friendly and very welcoming, lots of entertainment and activities that made our stay memorable
Cons: We had to ask for a change of room due to air conditioning issues

Pros: Food was excellent. Carolyn the bar tender was excellent. Relaxing vacation destination.
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Everything, especially the staff, the room in the cove suites and the food choices available

Cons: It was all very good.

Pros: Staff was friendly... location was super convenient to the beaches, supermarket... I loved the pool! It was quiet, & very relaxing... I also loved it had a restaurant on site & a bar....
Cons: I did not like it was listed as a b&b online, but when I got there you had to pay for breakfast... I also did not like the lighting in the room too dull especially while doing my makeup...the bed I got was a king, which was actually two full bed that kept separating from each other.. the sliding door to terrace were unable to lock... which raised a concern for me especially when they say they are not responsible for your missing items it they should go missing... & the room came with a safe but they wanted you to pay additional $$$ to use it...
Pros: There were cats at least 4 as you walk in the front then around the back a couple of more Tiny studio dirty linen dirty bathroom hole in the wall next to the air conditioner
Cons: Everything But the receptionist was respectful gracious and very apologetic
Pros: The staff were mostly very hospitable.
Cons: The wifi is very poor, one front desk staff was rude and also didn't give us enough kitchen equipment for the amount of persons staying in the room.
Cons: Food service
Pros: The staff was friendly and quick to address any issues. The location is prefect (quick drive to the beach and close to “town” main shopping area in St. John’s).
Cons: The kitchenette dish drain/stove and bathroom tub could have been cleaner. Had to switch rooms but that’s not entirely a complaint as that was the best solution.
Pros: Th Staff was friendly. It was a good experience
Cons: Friendly staff
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. I saw comments that the accommodation was dated. I didn’t expect designer at the cheap price. The painting/decorating of the stairwells was being finished off when we stayed the night between flights. It was better than I was expecting, I would stay again. Supermarket 5-10 minutes walk, beach 20 minutes walk. The room had air conditioning, WiFi, Fridge freezer, oven, microwave and TV.
Cons: Unfortunately the pool looked like it was ready for an annual clean so we didn’t use it. It wasn’t a problem we went to Dickenson bay instead .
Cons: The sparse sharing of info about activities.
Cons: It ok
Pros: Close to town.
Cons: the sheets were dirty. The bed squeaked just by sitting. The window blinds didn't work. Too small.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a 24-hour front desk. Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was collected from the airport and delivered back on time the following morning. I wish I could have stayed longer but I had to get to BVI the following day.
Pros: Comfortable bed. Clean. Cheap. Very basic accommodation. Local food available if ordered in advance
Cons: Lack of available drinks in room. Cold showers but manager unaware.
Cons: It was quite a distance from town.
Pros: The owner was not well when we arrived and so is not fair to comment, however she did let us keep our bags in our rooms way later than we were supposed to so that we could go to sting ray city the next day and was very accommodating even while I'll, so am guessing that she would be even livelier when well!. A lovely view, good room, beautiful sunrise (may) and there were humming birds and lizards in the bushes around the house, which were lovely and sting ray city was awesome.
Cons: The resaurant was booking only and the surrounding area was very sparse. There was one place to eat within walknng disatnace, all though it was good food, more like a fish and chip shop with a terrace, but good food and a shop on the side. 'Continental' breakfast was just toast.
Pros: Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. If going to sting ray city, excellent location. Pretty views of the bay from the second floor walkway.
Cons: Genevieve was disorganized. The included breakfast is just coffee and toast, nothing else. When we asked how much it would be to have scrambled eggs as well, it seemed like this was a difficult question for them to answer. Our booking has a check out of noon, but Genevieve said we had to be out of the room by 11:00 and that there were other people coming and they needed to clean the room. We spent 10 minutes going back and forth, but she was insistent. It took a call to booking.com to get them to agree we could checkout at noon. When we got back to the hotel at 11:45 to checkout, there was no one there. I would not stay there again. Location poor for anything but sting ray city. Not much else in the area.
Pros: the host was accommodating
Cons: Not familiar with the destination and didn't realise it was situated in a village far away.
Pros: The location is iconic for anyone who loves natures and quietness. The perfect place to recuperate. The owners are very friendly people and so very quiet. Very safe environment.
Cons: Maybe a kettle in the room so that anyone can have a cup of tea in the night would be perfect. And definitely a rental car for easy access to other parts of the island is a must if you're staying here.
Pros: All the staff were very friendly. Enormous bed. Walk in shower. Breakfast was what we asked for. Could order lunch &/or dinner if you required it. Good views from the balcony which was a good size with tables & chairs. You could stay there as long as you liked. Great beach at Long Bay about a 10 minute drive away.
Cons: The location was out on a limb meaning a long drive to the good restaurants & resorts which are on the other side of the island. The roads are filled with potholes & poorly lit. We had problems with the water in the shower both with temperature & hardly any flow. Rooms weren't cleaned during our stay. After 8p.m. there were no staff & the bar was shut so you had to buy your own from a supermarket & drink it on the balcony.
Pros: Pleasant people.
Cons: No water in room. No food after 7 pm.Far away from shops and seems remote.
Cons: Very basic , I found the owners behaviour , poor I wouldn’t stay here again very dark. The place is full of mosquito there is no security, no cable tv. The WiFi is just ok it’s a remote area and unless there was at least 7 of you I wouldn’t recommend it , I didn’t feel safe, and that’s my personal opinion, I booked a room with 2 double beds in ,when we reach the property the room was already occupied, she offered 2 rooms for the same price, the first was ok, however were my friend was going to go was at the back of the property No WiFi no tv , I didn’t feel comfortable with her back there so we shared the room I was in , no facilities provide to make tea or coffee in the room.
