10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, just a short walk to town and walking distance along a lovely flora trail to the QANTAS museum and Stockman’s Hall of Fame. An older style motel that’s well run, friendly anf clean.
Cons: There can be a little noise from vehicles outside the rooms but its only for a moment and goes with the territory of a motel.
6.3 Good
Pros: Motel didn't serve breakfast even though it was advertised.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Proximity to towns
Cons: Beds were lumpy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was well appointed and beautifully done. The beds were comfortable. As light sleepers we had a good night sleep with very little distractions or noise. The hotel is close to the Aviation Museum which was a worthwhile excursion.
Cons: Nothing comes
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean bathroom. Good shower. Nice TV. Lovely cleaning ladies.
Cons: It's a motor inn but I couldn't fit my ute under the carport. Some other vehicles had the same problem. This was something I had to work out for myself, rather than be told. I had to park on the street instead. Walls were thin - I could hear the guy next door going to the loo! Not a private set up. The units are in a circle so all the doors face each other.
6.8 Good
Pros: Easy walk into the main streets or over to the Stockman’s Hall of Fame.
Cons: Quite noisy. Sound from the road, other rooms and other air conditioners was very audible. Parking was really awkward.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great stay , really comfortable bed and nice room
Cons: The old air conditioner was loud
6.8 Good
Pros: Central location
Cons: Property was very tired, with poor decoration , cracked tiles(painted) and in my opinion bed linen and towels in these establishments should always be white to enhance cleanliness.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: good to have a laundry.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good position
Cons: Motel is showing its age. Design means it is reasonably noisy if anyone arrives late or leaves early. Bright exterior lights do not dim till about 10pm.

Pros: Good location close to centre of town, pleasant staff @ reception. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Long wait at restaurant for meal....over 1 hour....7pm booking; meal arrived at 8.15pm. Too many people booked for same time? Fish dish was disappointing; lamb & steak dishes looked much better.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Restaurant was great upstairs. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: Glad we were upstairs as any car parking downstairs with lights and noise into the room. The lighting was poor in kitchen area. View was into other rooms downstairs from balcony and vice verse.

4.5 Okay
Pros: Location was good, close to all facilities.
Cons: Demolition of an adjoining property caused noise, dust and general disruption even in the driveway of the motel. Heavy machinery noise began at 7am and finished at 5.30pm some days and continued for the 7 nights we were booked in. Had we know this was going on we would have booked elsewhere.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The air conditioning was like a train starting of and running so bad at times
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is on the main street. You can park your car off the street and right outside your room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts and restaurant
Cons: All was good, nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely clean.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The manager was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay! He was more than happy to pick us up at the airport and drop us off on our departure date well after our check-out time. Our rooms were serviced daily by a lovely lady. The location is the best you can get in Longreach, everything is within 5 minutes walk with the only IGA in town right next door.
Cons: The Laundry room was unavailable at night. It was slightly inconvenient for our group as we were in town for a sporting event with game times finishing at 6pm some nights. So hand washing in the sink was our only alternative solution.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Attitude of staff, animals permitted in rooms was disgusting
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proxinity to town. Undercover parking. Room for trailer. Spacious room offering bowls, plates, cutlery and microwave. Long bench room to eat take out. Comfy.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: In great location in middle of town.Easy walking distance to pubs, supermarket.
Cons: Room we were is was for disabled people as partner uses a wheelchair & walker. In shower you had to step over a hob it did have a handle to help. To get into room they had a ramp for first step but not for step into room. Ramp was too steep needed to be longer. So not really wheelchair friendly, he is lucky as he can use walker in room but someone in chair no hope.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner collected us at the railway station, then took us to the airport next morning to collect a hire car. The shower and basin water was beautifully hot at all times.
Cons: Overhead reading light covers; kept on banging my head on the things when I lay down.

Pros: Size of room. Two doors so able to get plenty of fresh air. Also very convenient.

Pros: receptionist was welcoming dinner was good but dinning room was cold
Cons: we booked 2 rooms 1 room had no towels the other had dirty towels hanging on the bathroom door Hot water was a problem in both rooms the shower was luke warm (you didn't need to turn on the cold ) tiles were missing from bathroom, window and window sill hadn't been cleaned in weeks. no exhaust fan in bathrooms air conditioners very loud filters hadn't been cleaned in months. garbage bin was emptied but wasn't cleaned on the our side room needed a good dusting. Every night there was a loud sound like something was pounding on the roof. block out curtains are needed to stop the light from under cover car park coming in and lighting up the room Had problem opening the door to get out swimming pool area had not been cleaned a palm prong was next to the pool when we arrived and was still there 2 days later . The complex really needs a good clean.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: nothing
Cons: Apparently new owners have taken over this place, however they also own the motel down the road (Approx 1km away). The sacrifice is they feel its acceptable to have no reception at jumbuck. Instead they refer everyone to check in down the road. No customer service, no staff, no reception, poorly cleaned property. I question if there is actually a safety issue by having no staff or reception onsite. Very disappointed. poorly managed at jumbuck will reflect on the other property. I feel people are getting stiffed at jumbuck
7.0 Good
Pros: quiet
Cons: stayed 2 nights, room did not get cleaned or condiments filled. No reception check in at another hotel reception
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, a little old but very clean
Cons: Showing its age in a few places
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good staff, good dinner and good breakfast
Cons: More staff required in the dining room
4.3 Okay
Cons: Dirty and run down
6.8 Good
Pros: The bed was super comfortable which was fantastic
Cons: Wish there was a microwave and a toaster for the family room and just the over look of the motel just looked run down. But room was great for a family room
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was really good and the staff upon check in was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The shower pressure was great!
Cons: The property is very old and you can tell it’s a bit run down.
4.3 Okay
Cons: Not much sound proofing between units, mould on bathroom ceiling & had to check in at the motel next door. Fighting cats in the night weren’t the motel’s fault but didn’t make the stay a good one
8.0 Excellent
Cons: we expected that the room would include kitchen utensils - plates, breakfast bowls, knives etc. Out of 5 motels that we visited on this trip - only this motel did not have these accessories - we went out and bought some
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Longreach Outback Adventures in Longreach, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Qantas Museum and Heartland Theatre. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
6.3 Good
Pros: Cheap accomodation for a few days when all you really need is somewhere to lay your head. You pay for whay you get.The room was reasonably quiet and inspite of it's small size contained a fridge and TV.The reverse cycle airconditioner kept the room warm/cool as needed. In rural towns nowhere is far from anywhere, especially when you have transpot.
Cons: The reception did ask if I was ok with sharing the bathrooms and being used to doing this I was, unfortunately some people have different standards to others.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: In the beginning the price. But they raised it insanely quick after
Cons: Cleaning generally Creepy dirty empty kitchen Lack of maintenance Way of talking to guesses
5.0 Okay
Pros: Flat screen tv. Office lady got straight back to me and gave easy instructions when I said I was late. Spacious room..you can totally fit a jug.
Cons: No jug for tea or coffee in the room. Pricey - self contained cabins at camp-sites are the same price Lumpy bed in room 7 Hole in the wall Toilet door didn't shut Bathroom floor flooded after shower. You need signs to find kitchen for us to get hot water. Had to walk around a bit. No sound proofing in walls. Next door were watching cartoons I'll take this review down after a month or if you rectified the problem... I don't like leaving negative reviews!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Communal facilities made friendly atmosphere
Cons: Reception at other site
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Cheap but great and easy place to crash when passing through
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Close to Qantas museum and Stockman's Hall of Fame, but 30 minute walk to town.
Cons: This is not a hotel. It is a bunch of dongas (temporary/demountable cabins) with an iron roof over the top and wooden walkways in between. It is geared towards itinerant workers, not tourists. We arrived by taxi. The driver dropped us at the hotel up the road as he said that was where we needed to pick up the key. I could not find this information anywhere in my booking, so it was lucky that he knew. We then had to carry our luggage 300m in the dark to our accomodation. There was very little lighting or signage making it difficult to find the room. There are no staff on site, and no security measures to stop non-guests from entering the premises. The key didn't work and we had to wait for someone to come and break into the room. He did this via a back window which already had a chair placed under it, so it wasn't the first time someone had entered that way. There is no daily room servicing, and the shared bathrooms (used by many people) were not cleaned often. The floors were flooded and the toilets and showers filthy. The walls are very thin, and you can hear every word from neighbouring cabins. The noise from the TV in another room kept us awake until late every night. The pillows were thin and the beds were lumpy, uncomfortable and squeaked with every tiny movement. Despite trying on three different devices, I was never able to connect to the advertised 'free wifi'. We have travelled a LOT (primarily in the developing world) and don't require a particularly high standard of accomodation, but we do need it to be clean and safe. Longreach Outback Adventures was neither of these. The description varies significantly from reality and it is poor value for money. A tour operator we used was horrified when I told him where we were staying. He said this place had a nickname, but he was too polite to repeat it to me. After a night there, it didn't take a lot of imagination to figure out what it was.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfasts excellent - location same - very pleased and would stay again when we revisit
7.0 Good
Pros: As I stayed in this budget accommodation, my expectations were low, so they were met. The staff in the main accommodation area were brilliant and didn't discriminate with me being in budget accommodation and not their main complex.
Cons: The facility is dated and there were no cups, glasses or cutlery whatsoever so I had to improvise. The share bathrooms were all unclean and had wet floors. I admit I showered in the evenings so I guess they had been clean in the mornings, but that would have probably been after others had morning showers. So not sure when would have been an appropriate time to get a clean bathroom.
5.8 Okay
Pros: You have a TV, a air co and a fridge if you need it. the room and bathroom were clean.
Cons: The bed was awful. You can feel all the springs in the mattress. Not confy at all. Miss an extra blanket. Need to put something on the air co outside of the room 18, the rain falling on it made a lot of noise.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: Guy was rude there was no after hour number when needed.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location close to town centre and attractions. Comfortable beds. Working air conditioner.
Cons: Accommodation seems to be an afterthought: No bulb for lamp. Wrong remote for TV. No help from staff when above was reported. Limited cooking facilities, ie. microwave and kettle but no toaster. No cloth to wash-up with. Shower door broken. Tiled floors meant movement noise from upstairs very audible (sounded like an elephant was in the room above).
5.0 Okay
Pros: Not much except the beds were comfortable
Cons: The fact the staff didn't seem interested in their jobs. We stayed twice and the first stay the toilet backed up and wouldn't flush properly and one of the bedside lights didn't work. The second stay 1 person got a warm shower the next a luke warm to cold shower and the 2 others didn't even try as the water was cold by then.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The bed was Confortable ,Wifi was OK.
Cons: The room not very clean.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Expensive, very unfriendly staff (a big effort for him to get a blanket for our room). Wifi does not work in room. Light in room broken leaving exposed wires. Mirrors looked as though they had not been cleaned in weeks.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. A leg was missing from the bed and we had t prop it up with 2 pieces of concrete blocks from the garden. No staff available to come and look at our room
Cons: Our room was not cleaned the whole time we were there. Had to go to the bar to ask a staff member to get us a clean towel. Stocks were not replenished each day.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed nice clean room close to eateries train station and short walk to main tourist attractions
Cons: Because there was a seat outside my room ( upstairs ) guests from down the hall sat there smoking - not pleasant at all
8.3 Excellent

Cons: Very old furnishings, needs updating!
7.5 Good
