There was a lot of noise from people talking in the hallway outside our room till about 2.30a.m. We were also awakened at 9.30a.m. to say our breakfast was on the way. We did not order breakfast in bed.
Location of the Hotel and the standard of the room was very good
Blazing fire in guest lounge Breakfast not great. Sausages undercooked and tasteless, bacon not well enough done.
staaff were friendly arranging taxis for us and recommending restaurants for us to eat would love to stay there again everything was great
The breakfast, the residence bar and the receptionist on duty was very helpful and accomodating. She even arranged taxis for all of us to and from the town itself.
breakfast was excellent and the bar staff were very frendly very happy with every thing
quiet but close to town centre
Very relaxed atmosphere with river view. Very comfortable I was not advised on checking in that it was necessary to reserve a table for the evening dinner with the result that when I came down at 7.30 there were no tables free until 8.30 and even than I had to wait to be seated
The staff were exceptionally friendly from the first receptionist through to bar and restaurant staff. It wasn't long enough!!
Being upgraded to a suite after 2 nights in a small room above noisy laundry which denied sleep. Food, service & amenities good. As above. Originally allocated room unacceptable. Hot & noisy with windows closed, very noisy when open. Took 2 days & 2 sleepless nights to be moved. Partially compensated by allocation of suite.
easy access to the town center.
Location and Staff Nothing
The staff were very friendly and helpful The market outside it didnt do any favours!
lovely comfortable hotel, good location very friendly helpful staff.the food in both the bistro and restaurant was excellent.
convenient for town centre....friendly staff terrible smell of smoke in room and for periods during night......it may have come through gap under door or from below the window where people may have been smoking outside
The pleasant staff, cleanliness ad location at a value for money price No complaints
location very little parking
Location at centre of town excellent
The food and drink. All aspects of accomodation were atrocious.
The thing i liked most about our stay was the staff, an amazing group of dedicated people who were willing to help or advise on any aspect of our stay from things to do and where they were located. I look forward to returning to Westport and the Wyatt hotel will be my first stop, Thank you.
I thought the location of the hotel was brilliant and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful
We loved the food in the hotel. The underground parking was very disappointing. it was full when we arrived as it was so small. Its very dangerous.
Very comfortable, excellent location, excellent breakfast and friendly staff
Great breakfast. music in lounge early sun evening Nothing
Its central location is ideal for anyone visiting Westport for business, shopping or just having a good time I found the heat in the room stifling but leaving the window open all night was not really an option. But this was the only problem I would have had with the hotel
Excellent, friendly service all round. The plumbing/ centarl heating system is very noisy and woke us and other guests very early in the morning.
we found the hotel very luxurious but still very intimate and friendly. The staff, without exception were extremely friendly and helpful,we were there for our wedding anniversary and they made a real fuss of us nothing
The hotel is well placed in the town centre, and we happened to have booked to stay in Westport during the annual music festival. We were able to see the Wolfe Tones perform in an open air concert, and there was live music in the hotel bar. We had a lovely evening meal at the nearby 'Sage' restaurant. Breakfast at the hotel was great - with the nicest soda bread ever. The hotel car park is underground with very few places available for guests. We had to part across the road in a public Pay & Display Carpark.
Staff at the mill times hotel were brillant but parking was poor Parking
No problems in recommending this hotel to anyone.Staff were excellent and made the stay enjoyable. Location is perfect .
Everything! The Staff were so lovely and helpful. The room was beautiful, as were the views. The Spa was so relaxing. The whole experience was great
The location is stunning. Architecture is nice and rooms are different from regular hotels. The loft room was nice but not very big. Spa facilities seemed good. Overpriced - accomodation and food. Not a good family hotel, no playground or outside leisure facilities which is surprising given that Delphi have a fantastic outdoor education centre nearby. No TV in room. Perfect for singles and couples who want the spa experience. We did get an excellent babysitter though, very friendly and great with our daughter. The meal was good but not fantastic. Restaurant staff were friendly and prompt. Deluxe double room wasn't very deluxe.
Beautiful location with view of the mountains from all sides of the hotel, food was fabulous, lots of activities during the day and a very relaxing spa.
The scenery of the area is spectacular! A very large bath in our beautiful room (in our spa hotel) but not enough warm (let alone) hot water to fill it. Very disappointing and so basic a thing to get right. Very silly for a place where guests want to relax. Dont bother putting a bath into the room if you cant fill it!!!
Its location, ideal to go cycling etc Its poor entertainment for night time, could not imagine staying during the winter months, no tv, no interent access no music? Also tried to over charge for bar drinks!!!!
The atmosphere of the hunting lodge, location right on the Atlantic and great food.
good food, excellent service, relaxing atmosphere. Dissapointed with the room, grubby bed linen, torn curtains, dirty windows.
The Hotel is in a nice location, the staff are friendly and the hotel has a warm friendly feeling.I had two guests to dinner. The food was excellent My room was far from clean, dust over bed the carpet is tired and stained the bathroom has seen better days. No newspapers available at reception.
Very friendly staff. Excellent food - evening dinner is top class. The setting of the hotel is stunning and the walks in the grounds and nearby are excellent It may be just the time of year (end May) but there are a lot of biting flies in the vicinity
Same luxury as it was 36 years ago with obvious upgrades of entire facility. Accommodations are nice and the food is just wonderful. Staff is so accommodating. We loved it and wouldn't miss it when we get to Ireland.
Dog friendly. Excellent breakfast. Evening meal excellent vlue for money. Facilities are very good. Lovely views, location and atmosphere.
the athmosphere the relaxsation and the hotel food the interior decor could do with some redecorating
The food was excellent, the views around the hotel are great. It would appear that the place is improving each time we go there
Very welcoming, helpful staff. Most comfortable rooms and public areas. A stunning, peaceful, relaxing setting. None.
Total relaxation Single bed was squeekey
kind staff ,very restful
notying much very average the food was awful in the evenings.the water was brown
The hotel was clean and very friendly staff. The only thing that comes to mind is that the bar was full of staff and we were not made to feel very comfortable.
Friendlky efficient staff
The hotel room was spacious and clean
comfortable and clean and very good restaurant. Breakfast choices excellent
The heat the morning is not on .
The excellent rooms Meals are over cooked, over priced and do not reflect the reigon.
friendly atmosphere, very good good. the central heating went off at night, we were cold and had to ask for extra bed clothes the following day..
Nice hotel which seems new. Quiet location in nice part of the country. Nice atmosphere and freindly staff. The hotel grounds immediately outside the building seemed to be untidy and in some spots littered. It was a pity that areas weren't cleaned as it took away from the overall appearance of the hotel
I thought the location of the hotel was absolutely breath taking, the facilities were clean, warm, inviting and impressive and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that I could comment is that the habitants of the pitch and put grounds leave it in some what of a mess (aka sheep excraments)
Although a little out of the way, the hotel is set in lovely surroundings and was just right for our one-night stopover during our tour of Eire There was a private function going on on the day of our arrival and we felt the staff were rather stretched. The following morning one outside table was still full of dirty crocks and glasses which rather let the hotel down a bit, which was a shame.
we will stay in westport country hotel again before xmas . it was fab . a bit hard to find . could not say any thing else......
Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
it was very well located for use as a base for sight seeing
the spa, rooms,
The location was great, staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. no
excellent, friendly staff, location was really nice and relaxing. No
very private lovely staff and very clean had a wonderful time no
the food and service in Fishworks restaurant was second to none.
The rest, enjoyed the swimming pool and food. Not a problem as such but bedroom furnature quite dated and tv about 30 years old.
The restaurant was extellent. Staff were very nice. Location was wonderful. The bar was pretty lifeless on the two nights that we stayed.
The Location The Fish bar food could be better
breakfast was excellent and it was a nice location. Its not in Westport town(15min walk away) but it is down on the harbor and in a lovely location to be honest I don't feel the bedrooms would be classed as four star - just a bit dated for my tates maybe
We thought the kids rooms of the pub was brillant n/A
The comfortable and sizeable bedroom The price of mixers for shorts in the bar, they were too expensive
the pool !!!! i could have stayed there all day and it was never too busy
We only stayed one night. I felt it was expensive but staff were helpfull & hotel was clean There was renovations taking place, we were not informed of this and it interupted our sleep as it started early in the morning. We should have been informed of same
Friendly staff and great facilities in a lovely part of the world
excellent staff making ever effort to help you out.
The staff !! Pleasant and helpful. The long corridors... the long distance to the car park, and that was through the hotel...
service good in restraunt and room cleaning. The first night of our stay we could not sleep as there was a generator just outside our window that sounded like a jumbo jet,we asked for another room they moved us to another floor,v inconvient had to get dressed and move all our belongings ourselves, the room was superior but these rooms were no extra cost just given to regulars. They did not apoligise for our disturbance.Staff on the ground v helpful during the day
Great location. Beautiful pool and leisure facilities. V good variety for breakfast.
We had a nice stay, excellent and inexpensive evening meal and even better breakfast. no complaints
Its distance from Westport and the local area
Central Location Breakfast very basic , no menu and no selection ,dining room staff not very professional
hotel staff helpfull excellent service pitty the hotel rooms are tierd and could do with a make over
The care given by the staff. The choice of dining in the restaurant or in the bar
Spaciousness of room and the new bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. It was quiet
hotel staff were very pleasant and hepful rooms very clean and comfortable food great good value for money would use this hotel again
Everyone was very friendly, including the locals, who made us all feel very welcome. It was so relaxed, and the food was excellent! Even the mini-breakfast would feed an army.
a nice hotel ,friendly helpful staff, would highly recommend for couples and 12+ familes there wasnt much facilites for young children
The staff and Room 108 with 2 windows above the town. The food was excellent. Had to stay one nite in rm 113 which did not have a fan and was stuffy. Check in was slow including time spent doing computer entries.
The staff were very friendly and helpful It was a bit noisy early in the morning due to deliveries to another building outside (nothing to do with the hotel but unfortunately we could hear it)
I found the staff very helpful and it was a very scenic place to stay. It was not near any shops and to eat was pricey and you had to wait for a table all the time.
Restaurant Family room above a function room is not very practical
relaxed family friendly atmosphere lovely food comfortable and clean accommodation beautiful setting with lovely view we hope to return again for a longer stay staff were friendly and very nice to children
Lovely views of Mulranny Bay. Ideal location for touring Galway/Mayo/Achill Island.
good location and view. nice interior. did not think much of the food. room was too small.
the location was outstanding - made all the more so by the exceptional weather we had throughout. The views were stunning and the only downside was the missing out on a sea view from our bedroom. The dining room manager went that extra mile for us as they knew it was my wife's birthday. It was a nice touch. Finding one of the drinking glasses in the room with lipstick on the rim. I know it's a small point but nonetheless careless and off-putting.
The location was scenic. The food was high quality Other residents did not make our stay very pleasant - awakened at 5.45am by others in adjoining rooms, and our room was on the main corridor for the first night, but we were moved for the second night. The service in the restaurant was extremely slow - for a two course meal - it took one hour to receive the main course, and another hour to receive the dessert..Arrrive for dinner at 8pm, but did not leave the restaurant until 10.30pm, due to slow service
We liked very much the location to go to Achill Island, and the nice view from the room during the breakfast We did not like the room , and the bathroom ,were not clean . It was very noisy . No lift for our room . The breakfast opened at 8AM , and the hot dishes arrived at 8.30 .
Just about everything- the staff were particularly courteous and helpful. Pool and leisure centre very good, attention to small detaails impressive. No, and my wife agrees.
A very well managed hotel, with an excellent restaurant. Location is exceptional with beach and countryside. The bedroom was in need of an update and the bathroom even more so.
The staff were extremely helpful especially as we had two eldery people with us. They organised a wheelchair to be made available for us during our stay.
Nice hotel, good location in town centre Not much atmosphere in bar
very pleasant stay, central to the town and nightlife and staff were top class
Friendly staff, 2 restaurants - food good value, good sized room, comfortable beds, excellent position in pleasant town, nice bar. No
Staff very nice, Food and location Excellent
Very comfortable a home from home feel. Nothing
The staff in general were excellent, from front desk to restaurant. We had dinner in the restaurant & it was fantastic! It's very well situated & quite reasonably priced. The heating in the room is rubbish & non-existent in the bathroom! When we pointed it out to reception the following day, she said they were aware there was a problem with that room. If so, why put guests in it?!? The hotel is being renovated & there was no mention of this online. There's no hotel car-park, just a public one beside it. We requested a double room; what we got was two single beds pushed together!!! Very comfortable as single beds go, not so much as a double!
Staff very friendly. Room was basic but clean. Very nice hotel but price of room was a bit expensive for what I got. Someone robbed the tv ariel so couldn't look at tv!!
Hotel is basic, but very clean, great restaurant in lobby called Maddens bistro. The rooms are super warm and quiet due to double windows (yes double) inner one in double glazed and outer one is single glaze to keep the old look.
convenience to town centre, free parking, warm and cosy creeking floors in my room and every other room.
