NIce location with convenient parking. Friendly and forthcoming staff. Well set room with access to extra services.
We enjoyed the swimming pool, breakfast, conveniece to shopping and restaurants and the availability of refrigerator and microwave in room.
It's a typical Hampton Inn, so if you've been to one before than you know what you're getting. It's very convenient to get to from I-93. The room was plenty big enough for two (or more) people. The fitness center was small, but in good working order. The pool is on the small side; I believe 5ft deep at the deep end, but also kept up well. Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon/evening (yum) and 24 hour coffee are nice added benefits. While it is right off the highway, it's not within walking distance to downtown Littleton. Littleton's downtown isn't extensive, but the majority of the eateries are located there, while means you'll be driving everywhere, unless you want to eat at Applebee's every night. There are a few other hotels and B&Bs more centrally located to the downtown, but you probably pay for that location, and less consistency. Also worth noting: the continental breakfast is okay, but you learn quickly to pick and choose your items carefully. Steer clear of the greasy stuff. Stick to the waffles, oatmeal, fruit, etc. As others have mentioned, the complementary wifi is pretty slow and unstable (but hey, it's free for HHonors members).
Understaffed at evening check in / arrival. Lobby was filled with very unhappy, upset and yelling customers. Long wait on line since there was only one person behind the counter and all people on line ahead of me had problems with their reservations and or their rooms were not ready at 8:30 PM. Also kept getting kicked off of the compliamentary wifi.
Very comfortable beds Lack of nearby restaurant
Great breakfast, indoor pool + fitness room. Terrific size room + bed. Very convenient to I-91!
Staff is phenomenal, they have fantastic service and are very friendly. I recommend all people in need of a comfortable, secure, positive enviornment to stay at this comfort inn!

Great amenities, friendly staff, and good food.
We needed a place to put our bikes for the night, they let us put them in our room, no questions asked. We saw two little old blood spots on sheet. Not sure what it was but it was red.
The town of Littleton is a gem, and the centre within walking distance of the motel. Our single queen room was smaller than many other budget motel rooms we have stayed in, but was adequate.
Our room was very clean. The owners (hosts) were friendly and helpful. No complaints at all.
We will be using them from now on! Bed was a bit hard
very well run no tea coffee maker in room
The hotel staff was unfriendly. The only amenity was coffee which was available in an outer vestibule, but there was no decaf. They charged for ice and it was unavailable after hours. The rooms were not clean. They have hot water heat (which is wonderful) but there were layers of dust on the tops of the registers. The rooms have storm doors on them that slam shut. I still have a rather large bruise on my arm from the storm door slamming into me. Over all - I cannot reccommend the Maple Leaf Motel, and would, in fact, reccommend that it not be used.
The facilities were very good as we had a kitchen where we could cook for ourselves and make picnics. The supermarket was nearby. We were able to go out for the whole day and return to a nice appartment.
The location to our family. No
Location, quaint, affordable, surrounding fall foliage was beautiful
I enjoyed my stay at the Maple Leaf. The family running the grounds clearly cared about their guests and were very accommodating. They were knowledgeable about the immediate area, hospitable, and personable. I would definitely return to this hotel. The interior of the rooms looked a little cheap and dated, though the stay was fairly inexpensive comparable to the surrounding hotels in the area with the same commodities at the time, especially since it was during peak color season in the fall.
The Maple Leaf has very clean rooms. Nice full kitchen. Flat screen T.V. , good cable channels and wifi. Very friendly owners. A very relaxing atmosphere. Great location!
The facility is older but well maintained. The owners, Chris and Nancy are on site and hands on. A comfortable visit.
Good location, near mountains, near town, but not in noisy area. Good value. Nice room. bed too hard
Quiet room with lawn and river outside.
IMHO, this location should have a higher star rating. The staff is exceptional. The location could not been any more convenient. Our room was clean and spacious. The rooms are not outdated, they're rustic. Which is what I love about escaping to VT. Nothing at all. We will stay here again.
The hotel was in a convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and adequate for the one night we stayed. Would stay again at this hotel. Nope
Our room was very nice. We had a nice view.
The room was big. Good location. Nice Staff. It smelled like stale cigarettes. Beer cans on the balcony. The people above made noise all night and there was some other noise we couldn't figure out. Wouldn't stay again.
Location is right off the highway. Large rooms - two sinks - nice vanity area and a fridge & microwave oven. Pretty views from the deck. It is always better to make a solid good first impression with a guest than to compensate a bill for services not provided - I stayed 2 nights and came back to a room that housekeeping had not touched. Disappointing after a long day.
Very clean and spacious room, good value, nice view from balcony
The room was very large and clean. The staff was excellent and pleasant. No coffee in room and the ice machine was in the lobby.
Old (and I mean OLD) charm, including very old funky wallpaper. Took awhile to adjust but then decided it was quaint. Until the no hot water. The service was HORRIBLE. We had no hot water (no hot water!) and when we asked the front desk they told us to let the hot water run for awhile. We let it run for 18 minutes and it still never got hot (this is July not frozen pipes). We told the front desk again, were told they'd "look into it" but we had to go shower at the Hampton Inn (thank got other wedding guests stayed there) in order to shower to not be late. Over the next 36 hours we followed up repeatedly with no resolution. We asked for a partial refund, since in paying for a hotel we expected to receive a bed, roof, and hot shower, but since we prepaid we were told there was nothing the front desk could do. I've called 8+ times and left notes for the manager but have received no reply. It is incredibly frustrating. I can't imagine how they've been in business since Grant's era. Would not recommend at all. Just stay at the Hampton Inn, it was much much nicer and actually had hot water.
Cheapish through third party. Staff was not helpful and woman was rude. It was dirty, old, moldy. Wouldn't recommend and will never go back.
Clean motel at great price as a base location for weekend skiing. Rooms have a nice big screen T.V. with many stations to choose from with satellite TV. Quiet for a good nights rest. Basic but adequate breakfast provided. Discount tickets for Bretton Woods and Cannon available as well.
Great place to stay. Staff was very accommodating, and the location is central to everything.
Simple. Clean. Quiet surroundings. Friendly and courteous owner. Wifi. Good location for my needs. Easy access to freeway. Had a small fridge, small microwave and newer, large TV - all the basic necessities. Room heater was a bit loud.
I travel solo a lot during the winter, as none of my friends enjoy ice climbing, mountaineering, snowboarding, etc. For the price, East Gate was pretty comfortable and clean (and the huge flat screen was nice, too). I felt safe staying there alone and 1,000% got my money's worth. The front desk staff was super upbeat and very friendly. I was able to buy a lift ticket to Cannon for $59 (as opposed to over $70 at the mountain), the distance to Frankenstein Cliffs/Flume Gorge was around 15 minutes or less, and the center of town was absolutely adorable! Great shopping and restaurants! Nothing, I mean...for what I paid to stay here, complaining would just be wrong. It was safe and clean. The heater was, like, right behind the bed which made for kind of an uncomfortable night's sleep, but that's literally the only thing close to a complaint that I would have. Oh, Booking.com screwed up my reservation...but that has nothing to do with the hotel and they were able to get me in for what I needed, anyway...
