Pros: Had a lovely overnight stay here while skiing at killington. The staff was extremely kind and upgraded us to a king room when we originally booked a queen, for no extra charge! Breakfast the next morning was delicious.
Pros: Quite, Clean, Traditional Vermont Inn Experience. Service down home warm and friendly. Food is outstanding! Ben's Room is enormous with a king bed, TV, fireplace, and hottub.
Cons: Bathroom was pubpar...and also don't expect traditional bath amenities (soap, etc are in a wall dispenser - very eco).
When visiting Mendon, The Red Clover Inn & Restaurant is a great choice to consider. The restaurant is a perfect spot to grab a bite to eat, and you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge or visit the spa tub for a relaxing end to the day. Pros: Very comfortable and coZy, staff was friendly and breakfast was great.

Pros: Beautiful, classic Vermont inn in a stunning setting. Staff was friendly and helpful. Inn was super clean and lovely. Delicious and generous breakfast was the perfect start before heading out to the many nearby activities. Can't wait to go back!!
The Vermont Inn is a great choice for a stay in Mendon. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool and indulge in massages. A bar/lounge and a 24-hour fitness center are other highlights, and rooms offer MP3 docks and free WiFi.
Pros: Only stayed 1 night but it's a Great hotel. Clean, comfortable and polite staff. Our king bed was extremely comfortable.
Pros: beds are very comfortable. rooms are clean. staff was friendly
Cons: room was hot
Pros: Hotel was clean and appropriately apportioned. Staff was awesome, friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping staff helped me get into my room (when they confirmed it was my room) when my hands were full... All around great service.
Cons: Nothing was bad. They rocked.
Pros: Comfortable beds and pillows! Rooms are dark and quiet at night. Friendly staff, helpful concierge!
Pros: The service was great as we were upgraded due to a suite and found it to be wonderful and will probably book there again as we are frequently in the area
Close to slopes
TV, mini fridge and microwave in room
We only stayed one night, we chose this after looking at reviews because it was the cheapest hotel that seemed decent.
Cons: Booked a room for my boyfriend and I, the room had 2 full beds instead of a queen. We decided to share one bed and it wasn't an issue.
Pros: The hotel looked nice & the staff was pleasant.
Cons: We arrived on a Friday & booked for 2 nights. We were there to attend a nearby wedding. About 10:00 PM bus loads of teenagers arrived. There was no supervision & they were totally out of control. They were above us & next to us. The extreme noise & throwing things went on all night long. We couldn't sleep at all. The front desk was called several times for security But no one arrived. We checked out & received a refund thanks to the help of Kayak. We were able to get another room where the wedding was being held & all is good.
Cons: a couple of buses of young 20 somethings arrived late friday nite and continued to party and be very loud alll night long. there was supposedly extra security on to handle them, but nothing was done!!! other members of the weddingd party we were attending checked out and got a refund!
Pros: Traveling with my parents who have limited mobility, I requested two rooms on the ground floor as there are no elevators. My request was granted.
Cons: The two rooms on the ground floor were not adjacent. According to the staff, the room adjacent to each room was a suite and not in the same price category.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Variety of breakfast items. to please a variety of needs and tastes, even soy milk.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful and the pool and breakfast were great!
Pros: The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. The pool was very nice too.
Cons: Not enough light in the room.
Pros: Comfortable beds, decent room set up, clean rooms.
Cons: Worn, but clean, lobby was very cold and parking wasn't great. Fire alarm went off, TV lacks basic networks due to Dish network. Hotel set up is very odd and elevator was questionable.
Cons: Hard bed
Too much chlorine in pool and hot tub could only stay in it 15 minutes tops eyes throat burned from it and my husband broke out in a rash
House keeping woke us up at 930am when check out wasn't til 11am
Pros: The rooms were clean while I was stuck during the recent icy weather we had. I ended up getting two different rooms over the two day stay and both were well kept.
Pros: Check in was easy.
Check out was easy.
Cons: Bathroom too small
Too few towels
Refrigerator not cold enough
Swimming Pool and Hot Tub were murky
Too few handicap parking spaces
Confusing entrance from main road
Had to travel down from 3rd floor to lobby for ice
Pros: Good location, courteous staff, comfortable room, good complimentary breakfast.
Pros: Free included breakfast
Free included wifi
Cons: Could use in room safe
Pros: Clean and comfortable, good staff.Nice indoor pool and weight room.
Cons: Breakfast ends kind of early on Sunday.
Noisy local drunks in next room partying until 5am.
Pros: We are vegetarians. My son was looking forward to eating warm pancakes as the sites suggest they have pancakes for breakfast. Since we are vegetarians we cannot or do not eat any other hot items on the breakfast. Apparently they alternate between pancakes and French toast for breakfast. To me and my husband, it really does not matter; we can just eat the bread toast and be happy with it. We requested the breakfast coordinator to make just 2 pancakes for my son since he could not eat French Toast (made up of eggs) but to my surprise she refused. WHICH HOTEL wants to refuse making 2 pancakes for a kid?
Is that what Holiday Inn is all about??
We paid for the breakfast and my son makes sure he checks that the hotel provides pancakes in the breakfast at this hotel.
No amount of comfort and cleanliness matters when the KIDS are not happy.
Pros: Amazing staff
went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied.
Pros: Room was decent, decor was up to date and nice.
Cons: The breakfast is wimpy, the coffee was terrible, the front desk didn't want to honor the online price for the room when I extended my visit, and a mouse ate my expensive chocolate.
Pros: The staff was very helpful.
Cons: Loved everything!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Close to everything, Dennys next door 10% discount, just show your key. Bed comfortable, good heat.
Cons: Bath rm not that clean, tub drain pluged.
Pros: Breakfast was good, and the bed was clean. Nice large tv.
Cons: The halls smell a little, the wallpaper boarder in our room was peeling off, there was not alot of work put into cleaning the shower, but wasnt horrible.
Pros: older place going through some updates Staff was very helpful close to end of RT4 Breakfast was included and not bad
Cons: The room was very over-priced; small; toilet leaked at floor seal; blanket was too small for the bed.
Pros: Reasonable rate
Cons: Room was booked with fridge and microwave. Did not get one so we had to change rooms. The original room as clean but the new one was dirty with trash in drawers, used soap and razor in bathroom , open waterbottle on nightstand, dirty towels in bath. Housekeeping left a lot
To be desired even after they "fixed" the problem. Had to wait 3 hrs for clean towels. It was much better when Red Roof owned it
Pros: Convenient location right off the highway. Facility was being remodeled and we stayed in a newer room. Breakfast was included. Good value for the money.
Cons: The remodeled rooms were in the back of the hotel. Didn't get a warm fuzzy feeling from the other characters staying there. Always removed everything from vehicle every day. Lots of cameras and signs reminding you to take your belongings. Some people drinking in back parking lot.
Pros: If you were alive in the 1970's and miss the decor this is the place for you. 15 minutes to Killington and only a few minutes to Pico - that's really all this place has going for it.
Cons: The sheets had numerous strands of hair on them (from someone's head and - other - bodily areas. Underneath the bed where the vacuum wasn't able to reach had very clearly not been cleaned for a long time.
Pros: Free breakfast and great common room with fireplace for Apres ski activities. CANT BEAT THE PRICE
Cons: Walked through the door got a face full of spider webs. I wanted to walk out as soon as I open the door. The fridge was not even plugged in so I couldn't put our cold drinks in and keep them cold. The web site photos of the rooms did not lool anything like what we walked into.
Pros: Great location, get what you pay for, no frills, just a clean bed to sleep in. Breakfast was nice. Friendly owners.
Cons: Little outdated, maintenance lacking in places (like wallpaper beginning to peel), but nothing major enough to not stay again. No WIFI on one side of building, but that was being worked on.

Guest rooms offer free high-speed wireless Internet access, cable TV with extra stations, hair dryer, iron/board, mini-fridge, free local calls, air conditioning and alarm clock.
Pros: The continental breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: I usually stay at a place of this quality for a guys weekend away with my brother to Killington. I don't expect much. Just a place to crash for the night. After a long day of riding at the mountain, our smoke detector started going off in the middle of the night, indicating that there was an issue with gas in the room. The phone didn't work so I couldn't call the front desk for help. after I went down there and got the manager up to the room, he just pulled the battery out and left without offering to get us a different room. I had to crack the balcony door open to make sure we had ventilation so we weren't breathing in harmful gases. The next day, I waited at the front for 10 minutes to check out and they refused to offer to compensate us in any way for the bad experience. Also, the bathroom was really small and the dining area was really tight with barely enough room to walk around the other guests. First time staying here, and it will be the last.
Pros: Reasonable prices
Cons: The outside door and AC were not insulated and room was getting really cold at night
Cons: This hotel was completely disgusting. The door knob was covered in masking tape to hold it togther. The bathroom toilet was leaking water across the bathroom floor from beneath it. The toilet would run all night too which was loud. spiders and buggs too.
Pros: the comfort, quietness and security. The breakfast room was filled with good food and variety
Pros: Rodeway Inn met my expectations for a typical, older motel. The room included an iron and luggage rack, not items I expected to find. The bed was comfortable for the one night. I was disappointed to be able to only get a smokers' room, and the smell was disagreeable. I did not have breakfast there so I cannot comment on the food.
Cons: The accommodations in a smokers' room
Pros: Simple, cheap, everything worked (although maybe not well)
Cons: Its a cheap motel, keep your expectations low.
Cons: noise from heater/air... i finally turned it off in freezing night
Cons: I had to get up In the middle the night to drive to the 24-hr pharmacy to get earplugs because of the noisy heat unit and the street noise: Tractor-trailers traveling at night, one after the other
Pros: Great shaded lawn and pool open late hours 9-9:30. Rooms no odor, very clean.
Cons: Front check in hassle-- forced me to go online to get the low rate.
Pros: The bathroom was completely redone ... but pipes were exposed
Cons: The dead smoke smell that was in the room ... an A/C that did not work, and brown from smokers ...... 2 out of 4 windows had screens ...
Pros: mattress was new. firm and bouncy. room was clean
Cons: wifi signal not suffecient
Pros: I did not like anything.
Cons: Considering that we could get 2,5-3 star hotels for $ 20 differ, it was a very weak choice to save a couple dollars. Bathroom was absolutely dirty with some unknown bugs, bedroom stinks like a hundred years old place, which has TV from early 90s. Yak!
Cons: Everything the room was disgusting and the bathroom had mold growing
Pros: the location was good 4 me
Cons: it said it had a mini fridge in it and it did not
Pros: Nothing special but it was clean and cheap.
Cons: Terrible staff, very unfriendly. Disgusting room, spend the money & go elsewhere!
Pros: I left the hotel did not stay there because the room was so gross. It was a hotel people live at. Run down gross. I am not that picky but there was no way I was going to sleep there. Obviously the cost of the room was cheap.
Cons: Gross see above
Pros: Price and location
Cons: No hot water, carpet and bed spread burned with cigarettes, no hot water. Seriously, I let it run and checked it for 20 minutes no hot water.
it s ok for the price that u pay for
Cons: too small for bathroom space
Pros: Staff, helpful. Reasonable rate. Good location. Older unit but everything was working. gGood value.
Pros: What you would expect for the price. Good hotel to crash for a night. Nothing special about it. The bathrooms where a little rough but I didn't I in with high expectations so I'mSatisfied
Cons: Bathrooms where not the best
Value for money
