10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jacuzzi. Very friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The exellent location, the staff and the breakfast
Cons: Everything was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: No slippers
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceded the price I paid for, very friendly staff and helpful, they picked me up from the station at no charge
Cons: Breakfast could be improved, just more variety bit it was very good
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was ok and the staff who served the breakfast was very helpful and friendly. Room and shower wasn’t too bad but no window or fresh air.
Cons: Extremely noisy!! For people who plan on hiking a lot I wouldn’t recommend that hotel as it is very likely you won’t sleep at all. First night out of 2 there was a concert going on till 5am which made it impossible to sleep even with earbuds. Second night there was a emotional drama on our hotel floor between neighbors who banged the doors all the time till 2am, screamed at each other and chased each other down the floor in their undies. It was like In a circus! Secondly when we asked for a later checkout due to our lack of sleep on the second morning the receptionist told us that’s just possible if we pay $20 or $50 depending if we want to stay 1 or 2hours longer. Just to call us 10 seconds later back to bribe us for a review and in that case the late checkout would be for free. Even when we finally checked out she pressured us again by telling us we should have done the review by then as that was the only reason why we got the later checkout. That’s not good service, that’s very poor service.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great service, convenient location, nice breakfast. Offered us late checkout
Cons: - Bath tub wasn’t clean, bath waste stinks, seemed like the bath hadn’t been used/cleaned for a while. - soundproof pretty bad, can hear noises from the street.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: staff were amazingly good. For receptionist to breakfast waiter. They are very kind and try to help. The room is well designed and good size. lookout to the whole(small town).
Cons: it's right next to the river, sound proof was not very good. Quite noisy. a litter bit expensive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything was perfect: location, staff, room, breakfast.
Cons: The bathroom is somewhat strange, but I got used to it.
6.7 Good
Pros: Box lunches available for people with 6am bus tickets, and a simple buffet for those departing later. Staff meets you at the train on arrival and will deliver your luggage to the train on departure.
Cons: The bathtub in our room leaked, flooding half the room and soaking my husband’s clothes. When we told the staff, they didn’t seem to care. When we asked if they could dry his clothes, they told us we’d have to go to a laundromat and didn’t offer to take care of it for us until we reiterated that we would have to skip dinner in order to go do it ourselves. In addition, the safe in our room was missing its key and the cleaning person took one of my hiking socks (presumably inadvertently), and the staff had to be asked repeatedly to check if it was with the soiled linens.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located very close to the train station and the bus to Machu Picchu. We were met and greeted by the hotel employee at the train station: they asked us to provide our train arrival time. The room was big, clean and nicely decorated. There was a breakfast included but we have not used it as we took an early bus to MP. They also left us our rooms after the official check out time for free as our train back was in the afternoon
Cons: It was a bit noisy outside until late at night
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast superb. Location great in order to get to the Machu Pichu buses. Small issue: the triple bedroom was an inner room, but it was very quiet and pleasant.
Cons: A room with a view

7.1 Good
Pros: Quieter location
Cons: Poor service encounter at bar on last night!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with a great spa
5.4 Okay
Pros: The view is wonderful and hotel was clean and cozy
Cons: I didn't like the fact that we were charged 100$ for a massage in an awful spa! False advertising as a 5star when they are a three star hotel maximum! Our massages we later found out were given by the gardener and the housekeeper! I'd like to file a complaint as when I said we were unsatisfied, the front desk manager just shrugged her shoulders and offered us nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: They treated us like royalty on our honeymoon (the only place on our trip to South America that really took note).
7.5 Good
Pros: Customer attention and service level was excellent.
Cons: Initial room given was unacceptable and had to request changes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing and the food was excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent! They were courteous, professional, and very prompt. We were made very welcome immediately and the service remained until they dropped us off at the train station to leave. The location is perfect for visiting Machu Picchu and is conveniently located close enough to the town to sight see but far enough out not to be overly crowded. The food in the restaurant was amazing in taste, quantity, and display. The concierge was very helpful whether it was getting tickets for Machu Picchu or booking the cooking class. Every member of the staff treated my wife and I as if we were the only guests in the hotel. It was that kind of personal service where they even took the time to learn our names prior to talking with us.
Cons: I really can't think of anything bad to say about or stay at the hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Great location Had free things to do at hotel- cooking classes, evening cocktails. Great with kids- did Peruvian cookie class, staff brought puzzles while we were hanging out. Great massage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic room and view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was amazing! A huge Breakfast, a 3 course gourmet dinner and evening cocktails were included. The location is perfect. The buses to Machu Picchu are just down the road (about a 15 minute bus ride up to Machu Picchu) and they will drop you off right at the hotel when you come back. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The spa was great but small. More services (like pedicures) would have been nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is warm and the bed is very soft and comfortable. The breakfast is very nice especially their dessert is so good. Staffs are nice and the bartender is very professional. When I checked in their staffs gave me some nice drinks and desserts very sweet. I highly recommend this hotel!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful decorated luxurious hotel with excellent facilities. Dinner was included and was of gourmet quality. A waiter by the name of Jesus (Hesus) was so kind, helpful and attentive. He arranged for a particular meal to be cooked for my sick husband (outside of the set choices) then personally delivered it to him.
Cons: Unless one is staying more than 1 day it is almost impossible to make use of the facilities therefore it makes the rooms expensive for what you can use. Nonetheless if we came back to MP we would probably stay here again.
Overview Reviews
Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel is in the heart of Machu Picchu, within a 10-minute walk of Cerro Machupicchu and Aguas Calientes Hot Springs. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff location amenities were excellent. Best place to stay near Machu Picchu.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Beds comfy, location good. Easy to get around.
Cons: Big waste of money. Over-rated, don’t waste your time. Staff hopeless. Check in slow. Room wasn’t ready. All inclusive but food terrible, no alcohol included, mini bar had a bag of nuts, water & Pepsi. The hotel doesn’t have aircon!!!! Can u believe s 5 star place with no A/C? The rooms were hot and humid, there are no blinds in the rooms. The hotel tells you not to drink the tap water so we ordered a bottle of water with our meal, only to be charged for it. Little things like this really annoyed me. The room tv was hidden in a cupboard and the size of s laptop. Very basic accommodation for the price. Stay somewhere else.
7.1 Good
Pros: It is probably the best hotel in Aguas Calientes, a place that’s existence is only due to Machu Picchu and is not worth visiting except for the world famous inka town above. The Inkaterra Hotel surely makes the stay more comfortable than most alternatives. The eco concept is also good, as is the included dinner and breakfast.
Cons: The open air hot pond and the whirlpool were dirty and seemed not be used at all by guests (see picture). For this price, the hotel should also assist with the transfer up to Machu Picchu. The guy at the reception could not even point to the right location of the bus ticket sale on the map. More service on the obvious reason for visiting the hotel would be appreciated. We clearly expected more for this price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff is top-notch, world-class kindness and attention to detail.
Cons: Nothing.
7.1 Good
Pros: The pillows could be better
Cons: the light comes trough the window very early . Only a very light white curtain . Great light in the room for the day but not for rest .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the service, the room, the food, the tours. the Spa. Everything was perfect. We travel frequently and this hotel is outstanding.
Cons: Having to leave after a 4 night stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and Dinner was included in our deal and they were wonderful!
Cons: Couldn't keep the fire lit in our fireplace. ;(
5.8 Okay
Cons: I paid $800 for a deluxe junior suite which was supposed to have a jacuzzi and separate sitting area. Instead they put me in a regular room with 2 chairs, stained rug and a scratched, dirty bathtub. When I asked to speak with the manager, the first time he was not available and the second time he was in a meeting
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fireplace in room ready to light and enjoy! Super comfy chairs and couch with bird watching views Nature trails and bird watching guides were great. Food was excellent Staff was terrific, friendly, if anything, over explaining the hotel offerings.
Cons: Lots of rough stone steps between entrance and rooms (48) like a four story walk up. But nestled in scenic river gorge, this was a small price to pay.
Tierra Viva Machu Picchu - Machu Picchu - Building
4
9.0 Excellent (1,297 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Tierra Viva Machu Picchu in Machu Picchu, you'll be on a river, within a 10-minute walk of Aguas Calientes Hot Springs and Cerro Machupicchu. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was close to everything, yet far enough from all the noise and commotion. It was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: My only pet peeve is that for breakfast they use these large thermos for hot water, coffee and milk and if you are unlucky to be having breakfast 1/2 hour after they are filled, the coffee ends up being lukewarm. Other than that our stay was great.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Rooms were really damp.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good staff, kind and sweet. Showering water is hot and stable. Coca tea, coffee, and herbal tea are available in the lobby, you can take a small break when you back from Machu Picchu.
Cons: WiFi is slow and unstable. Limited selection for breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very close to restaurants, shops, bus and train stations.
Cons: Unfortunately there were works on the street, that amplified the usual noise (the hotel is on the bus paths to Macchu Picchu). The breakfast, too, wasn't as expected. For the rest, I have no complaints. All good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: cantrly located comfortable sweet hotel. Very convinient in any respect. Wonderful service. very large room with nice view
Cons: nothing to complain about
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Overall nice hotel, clean and with very good breakfast starting from 4:30 am.
Cons: Not so good value for money (like every hotel in Aguas Calientes). Our room was relatively noisy due to people walking in the hall and some unidentified humming noise (nothing that prevented us to sleep anyway).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yes, it was more expensive than other hotels, but it was well worth it. I would definitely stay again.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is right at the city center. The deco of the hotel is very nice especially the elevator with some peruvian drawing. Our room was quite big with a small sitting area. The room was clean and comfortable. During our stayed, there were some road repaired right outside of the hotel. So it could be a nit noisy in the morning and the road was quite muddy to walk up to the city center. The breakfast was good with a lot of varieties. The staff at the hotel was great and very helpful. They had the pickup and drop-off services to the train station upon request.
Cons: I was quite disappointed of the view from my room,, even though there were some mountain and river views from the window but there was also a big dumpster in front.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely friendly, especially Carmin; when we asked whether there was a tea kettle inside our room, she immediately sent us an electric kettle. The hotel even sent someone to meet us at the train station. Location is convenient, close to the Conset bus station.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel. there is aosquito problem but is the entire town.
Cons: dead and alive mosquitoes on my bed and pillows
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property was just far enough away from all of the noise of the town but close enough to walk it within a couple minutes. If you’re hiking up to Machu Picchu then you simply walk out the door and begin. They had an in room fridge with complimentary beverages (coke, Inca cola, etc...) and that was nice. We opted to get some room service which was good, quick and very hospitable. They were also kind enough to bring our luggage to the train station so we could go from Machu Picchu directly to the station, grab and go.
Cons: The shower didn’t drain well at all but served it’s purpose. The on site restaurant is less than desirable.
Hatun Inti Boutique - Machu Picchu - Building
5
9.0 Excellent (418 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hatun Inti Boutique places you in the heart of Machu Picchu, within a 10-minute walk of Aguas Calientes Hot Springs and Cerro Machupicchu. Featured amenities include express check-out, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breafast was good, but not great.
Cons: The hotel is a little bit dated and can use some restoration. we found that the property rooms don't have A/C, but actually this was not that much relevant since we travel during winter time. I can imagine that that A?C should be the standar on this level/price of hotel.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: It was beautiful and serene. My mom and I opened the windows and slept to the sound of the roaring river. It was magnificent. At the price we paid, we just wish we had free water for the entire stay. You are not allowed to drink the water, that includes using bottles water for brushing your teeth. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. The view was magnificent. Make sure you ask for eggs from the person working at breakfast. They are free, but are made to order. You won't get any if you don't ask.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: the staff are amazing! incredibly helpful, especially Kuti at the check-in. Our room on the 6th floor overlooked the river, which is the best view and is quieter. The beds were comfortable, great hot shower, plenty of room.
Cons: my only critique is that the entry lobby is a bit faded and needs an update and doesn't really match the nice rooms and breakfast area. But everything is efficient and clean!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice stay- comfortable rooms with big bathroom and jacuzzi. The hotel is right next to the train station, and close to many restaurants and cafees.
Cons: The hotel is just next to railway tracks so there was some nice from the trains.
7.5 Good
Pros: Everything was just perfect
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Modern equipment and spacious rooms
Cons: Service can be disappointing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The hotel, the staff, the location, the river view, the Jacuzzi, the cake in the room!!!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great.

When you stay at Catari's House in Machu Picchu, you'll be in a national park, within a 10-minute walk of Aguas Calientes Hot Springs and Cerro Machupicchu.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean Hot water Kind staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: -Great owner although does not speak english and we spanish we had no troubles with communication. -Basic breakfast (buns and tea/coffee) is provided free of charge at 4am
Cons: -Shower in our room had only cold water ,but they movedus to other room and it was ok - it is very humid in rooms but i think this is general problem of aguas calientes not only this hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is just 100m from the station, the owner is great, really attentive and will support your experience to Machu Picchu with lots of informations and an early breakfast before start the visit !!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and although I don't speak Spanish we were able to communicate . The staff went out of their way by giving me useful Machu Picchu tips and accompanied me to get the bus ticket up to the ruins. Great value for money and it's very near the train station and the craft shops but not noisy
Cons: There was nothing I did not like
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Host is very friendly and they go far out of their way to help you out and try really hard to communicate with you regardless of language barriers (my Spanish is very poor). Fresh towels every day, delicious bread and jam plus coffee and coca tea offered for breakfast. I stayed in a double room, looked like they have dorm style setups as well, but I believe every room has its own bathroom. Showers were very clean. Free drinks at Full House restaurant (really nice, great view of the Urubamba River, okay food) if you mention that you're staying with them.
Cons: Soundproofing was an issue, but if you are staying in hostels without earplugs, that's your fault. I think they sell them (plus some other necessities) in the lobby.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super nice Host Very good price Recommendation of excellent restaurant
Cons: Location near noisy street
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hostel, very good value. If you are lucky you will meet Richard, amazing guy, friendly, helpful and efficient....I call him Superman
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marle is such a delightful lady. Although she mostly speaks Spanish, she is so very patient to use google translate with you, which I had no problem with since I didn’t speak Spanish myself. There is a light breakfast with bread, butter, jam, banana, and coffee or tea packets. I forgot which lever but turn one of them on, takes about a minute to heat up. Would stay again. Ps - after I checked out on the same day of going to MP+huayna, I came back looking like death. Marle lent me a room to stay in until my train departure.
Cons: Nothing at all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large, comfortable room. Excellent location. Quiet at night. Warm shower (not super hot but fine). Bread with jam, banana and coffee for breakfast was a nice surprise
Cons: Owner doesn't speak English but is very patient with Google translate!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is close to the train station and the bus stop for the Machu Picchu. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The owners are friendly people and I would recommend to stay with them.
Belmond Sanctuary Lodge - Machu Picchu - Building
7
8.9 Excellent (336 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Belmond Sanctuary Lodge is the only hotel located adjacent to the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu and the best point by which to explore the beautiful surrounding area. The Lodge is located only 50 meters from the main entrance to the archaeological site. Only the select few who stay at the Lodge have access to the ruins both before and after the throngs of tourists arrive and depart from mid-morning to mid-afternoon. The benefit of exploring the ruins when they are relatively empty is not to be underestimated, and a key benefit of staying at the Lodge. The magnificent gardens at the Lodge boast stunning views across Machu Picchu and are a popular location for breakfast, as well as champagne at any time. They also offer the perfect location in which to relax during your stay. The gardens are located at the back of the main building, where you can find a great variety of native plants and flowers, including many orchids. Offering luxury accommodation, simply composed Peruvian cuisine with delightful little touches, Belmond Sanctuary Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind in the shadow of the Lost City. Facilities include two restaurants, bar, limited business services, gift shop and Internet terminals for guest use. Complimentary high-speed wireless Internet service is available in guestrooms and public areas. Rates include breakfast, lunch and dinner or breakfast only in the Lodge's restaurant, depending on the rate plan purchased. Concierge, room service and laundry services are available. Accommodations reflect the casual, intimate atmosphere of a home away from home. There are two suites and twenty-nine rooms, twelve of which feature amazing views of the mountains. Amenities available in all rooms and suites include complimentary wireless Internet access, high-definition LCD widescreen TV with movie channels, iPod dock, DVD player and lending library, dual 110v-220v voltage, ceiling fan, mini-bar, personal safe, desk, bottled water and windows that open for fresh air.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, lunch and dinner were included in our deal and all were excellent!
Cons: Everything was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and helpful!
5.8 Okay
Pros: 1 - The food is excellent and the eucalyptus ice-cream is out of this world. 2 - The entire staff is so sweetie and very friendly. 3 - The location could not be better. It is steps away from Machu Picchu. 4 - The wifi works well in the room.
Cons: 1 - It is ridiculously priced for the overall quality and even for the location. 2 - The carpete in the room is disgusting dirty. 3 - The bed is not so comfortable. 4 - The shower is way too tiny making it very difficult to take a shower. 5 - The shower door does not close all the away, letting the water splash all over the bathroom floor. 6 - The bathroom is constantly stinky even after flushing. It feels like there the sewer line is open right side the bathroom.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything great place, great staff, great service, amazing location
Cons: Cost way too much even with food and drink included. They should also shuttle every guest up and down to Agua Calientes not just high paying hiram bingham train guests.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Right next to entrance of Machu Picchu. Very helpful and friendly staff who very efficiently and graciously handled every request.
Cons: Restaurant service could not be faulted but quality of food and selection needs improvement for a hotel of this price level.
6.7 Good
Pros: Let's start with the obvious: the location! Staying here means you are at the entrance to the citadel. You don't have to queue for a bus in the early hours of the morning, you don't have to queue for a public toilet, you can come for lunch or drop off a jacket or whatever in the middle of the day... etc. The convenience factor is through the roof! But, you're paying for it. That aside, staff service is great. Special mention must be made of Antonio who took such good care of me when it came to food and drinks and general advice for my visit to the citadel. The pisco sour tasting was fun and the live music at dinner was great (I had an all-inclusive package). .
Cons: The hotel itself is not as luxurious as I thought it would be. Take this establishment and put it anywhere else and it would be completely over-priced. But, I suppose that's the nature of a monopoly...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location! You are right outside Machu Pichu ruins. So you can be the 1st and last to explore. We arranged 2 tours through Belmond, and our tour guide Bell was amazing. Food at the restaurant was tasty. We also booked their incredible train experience and staff at the train was very attentive and made us feel very special.
Cons: We came to celebrate my 40th birthday and notified the hotel a few times about this special occasion. But during our stay they seemed a little clueless and didn’t pay much attention to details. For a hotel of this level and price point we expected better attention to details. One of the ladies that works in the restaurant is a little awkward with her topics of conversation (her 1st was about a political issue in my birth country, not appropriate during birthday celebration while she tried to sit us at the worst table in the restaurant). Also the hotel’s response communication prior to arrival was very slow.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying right at the entrance to Machu Picchu. Great breakfast and service.
Cons: Since it is located in a protected area, there is no AC in the rooms and it can get really hot! It is the most expensive hotel in the area but you are paying for the location
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Belmont Sanctuary Lodge is perfectly well located to visit Machu Picchu. There is no better way than staying overnight at the site of the Inca Sanctuary at Machu Picchu. You go to sleep and you wake up in the morning with a magnificent view of those wonderful mountains that represented gods for the Incas. You can fully feel the sacredness of the site and you understand why the Incas built their sanctuary among those imposing peaceful mountains. However you also pay a high price to be able to enjoy all that peace and sacrosanctity. What you get on top are great comfortable rooms, ours had its own "front yard" where you could relax and look at the splendid environment. The minibar is included in the price. The hotel has a big green space which offers the possibility to relax outdoors on extremely comfortable sofas and chair lounges. The service is legendary and outstanding. The employees are aware fo the price you paid. The food at the restaurant is delicious, natural and authentic. The chefs offer a range of plates of Peruvian cuisine from which you can choose from. When you arrive by train at Aguas Calientes someone from the Lodge is waiting for you, he helps you buy the bus tickets and takes care of your luggage. At you arrival you are welcomed when stepping out of the bus and check in is made easy. The hotel arranged a tour of the Sactuary upon our arrival and another tour the second day to hike up on Huayna Picchu. Both tours were a delight and going up to Huayna Picchu was a fantastic work out. Our tour guide Ronaldo was extraordinary, higly educated and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Ronaldo. We also had an introduction to Pisco and a demonstration how to make a Pisco Sour. The lodge offers the possibility of using a refreshing and washing room after having done the check out. This was extremely nice and we appreciated taking a shower, refreshing and changing our clothes after our day's hike.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Hard to communicate with staff..found resturant staff in professional for rate of the hotel
7.5 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: Size of the rooms and limited amenities. I should have done more research regarding the amenities. Given the location I understand why far less is offered however I thought there would at least be a spa and larger lobey.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location next to Mashu Pishu entrance Friendly attentive staff Good food
Cons: Small rooms Paid extra 300 dollars for a delux room , not much different from a standard room. In fact the standard room had a better view overlooking the garden , ours a galvinised roof top ! Reception short of staff could not cope Very overpriced for the facility and poor value for money !

7.9 Good
Pros: Perfect staff in hostel:-)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money. Lovely staff got me a fan. spacious room comfortable bed, hotwater , and good internet.
Cons: the hotel overlooks quite a lively street busy with people (not cars) which made it a little noisy, however as we had the fan going it was fine.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great staff! They came for me at the train station, presented me the room and also checked my Machu Picchu ticket to make sure everything was perfect. Lunch box instead of the breakfast was great for early departure to Machu Picchu.
Cons: I had a room without any window and the tv never worked. Wifi was ok but not ideal. Construction work at the time I stayed with noise starting even before 8am.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A great location right in the center of the town. The real gem is Cesar, the receptionist/manager who goes out of his way to do whatever you need. Breakfast was even waiting for me when I left to catch the 5am Machu Picchu train!
Cons: Not the fault of the property, but the town is very active until late at night..so the noise can be an issue. I was fine with my white noise machine on my phone..or earplugs would work too. This issue is probably true anywhere right in the center of town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing place to stay. Very clean spacious room with everything you need for comfortable stay before heading to Machu Picchu. The hotel is just 5 min walk to the MP bus pickup point. Awesome staff: Cezar was very welcoming and helpful
7.5 Good
Pros: cesar was such a lovely host. extremely friendly and very helpful! and the packed lunch he provided was essential for climbing machu picchu.
Cons: the room we had was unbelievably noisy throughout the night so we only got a couple hours of sleep. we even put podcasts on to try and drown out the noise. make sure you request a room away from the main street if it is possible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: WHAT I LIKED THE MOST WAS CLEANING, BECAUSE THEY CARE ABOUT KEEPING ALL EXCESSIVELY CLEAN AND HARMONIOUS, THE HOT SHOWER ONE OF THE BEST IN PERU !!! YOU ARE PREPARED A GOOD COMPLETE BREAKFAST TO TAKE AND THIS IS READY FROM 5AM !!!!!!! IN ADDITION, THE SUPPLEMENT OF HIS PERSONNEL WILLING TO SERVE YOU IN ALL YOUR REQUIREMENTS RESPONSIBLY, EDUCATED, FAST AND TIMELY. In short, it is a place that I would definitely recommend to all travelers!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really helpful receptionist who met us from the train and took us to the hostel, it would have been easy to miss the entrance if he hadn't. Really good hot shower, especially for a hostel. And the room was really clean.
Cons: No real public area to sit and chill. Breakfast wasn't ready at 7 and we had to chase staff who were invisible at that time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: All necessary facilities are available and working properly, including hot water. The host, Cesar was great, ready to help with everything and he made our stay really good.
Cons: The internet was extremely slow, and we were unable to load basic web pages, but we understood that was a temporary issue in all Aguas Calientes (fact proven by the internet in restaurants and other places). So maybe it was just our luck. The room was between the lobby and the street, and a few hours after the street noise stopped, the people that were leaving at 3 am to see the sunrise on Machu Picchu started to make noise in the lobby. As we departed early, the breakfast was prepared to go and was pretty good, but it was only one bag with breakfast for one person, even if we were 2 guests (or maybe another early guest took one of our bags...) Anyway, these were small issues, that did not stop us from having a great time in Machu Picchu.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly host, he knows few words in czech :D Gave us better room with private bathroom for free, hot shower, package with breakfast ready for take it in the morning, luggage storage for free so you can pick up your bags after Machu Picchu.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. We arrived at the train station - and this hotel is perfectly situated for train arrival and departures. Also - the hotel is conveniently located with regard to restaurants and shopping in the quaint town of Aguascalientes. We all LOVED the river views from our rooms. It was a relaxing get-away. Also the staff took the initiative to provide a small birthday cake and candle for someone in our group when they noticed that the birthdate on her passport matched our arrival date. What thoughtfulness and initiative! Lastly - we all quite enjoyed the lovely morning breakfast. The Coca Tea and Infused water in the lobby was very welcoming.
Cons: I had no dislikes with this hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Proximity to train station
Cons: No windows
9.6 Excellent
Pros: excellent location in front of train station close to bus stop to MachuPicchu beautiful river view!!(room 201) staff was so kind!! welcome "3" chocolate cakes! hot shower, confortable bed, warm room. definitely stay here again!!
Cons: nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfort, cleanliness, location, kind and helpful personnel.
Cons: I really liked the hotel; however, the single room had no outside window but a covered window to the hallway, which I believe made the room less sound proof, so I could hear all the sounds from the hallway and woke up earlier than planned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect
6.7 Good
Pros: The location!
Cons: The shower would drip out
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Met at train station and helped to buy tickets to Machu a Picchu
Cons: Room trackside a little noisy
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious with a large window giving superb views of the river and mountain. Maybe the best view in town. Breakfast had a good choice.
Cons: You have to pay for the bottles of water in your room. We had to ask for an adaptor to allow us to plug in anything with two round pins. And in the fridge we found a sandwich left by a previous guest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and nice view. Very polite staff.
7.1 Good
Pros: The reception staff was great, meeting us at the train even though we didn't request this), helping us get bus tickets for Machu Piccho.
Cons: The hotel is business standard. The dining room was overpriced, strange and not very good -- in the basement.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Close to the station which is good and bed in case you want to sleep in
Cons: The staff didn’t care about you - you just another tourist they can grab the money off. Even simple information about Machu Picchu not available.

Pros: Nice place in the main commercial road of AC. Just 5 minutes walk from the bus stop to Machu Picchu. They serve breakfast from very early in the morning (we had it before 5am). Good value for money
Cons: There was no hanger in the room for clothes
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice and friendly stuff we even got picked up at the train Station. They had water for us in the room. Good breakfast from 4:30am. We could leave our bags at the hotel while visiting Machu Picchu.
Cons: Quiet loud, the toilet flush was ruining a little the whole time. Could put a little more effort in detail but I guess that’s just tipical for Perú.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff and great location- would recommend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff and they were extremely helpful. Considering the costs of everything else around aguas calientes this place was the find if the century . Couldn't have been happier Extremely helpful staff, clean rooms, delicious basic breakfast and water left for you in the room.
Cons: Nothing for the price
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location of this accommodation was good and the size of the rooms were sufficient for two people. The shower was hot and had good pressure and they provided soap and towels. The linen seemed clean and the bed was comfortable enough.
Cons: Our room smelt like mould and all of our clothes smelt damp after our stay. There was a constant, faint smell of sewage in the bathroom which was very unpleasant. The breakfast was very average and the wifi was so weak that we were unable to use it most of our stay. This accommodation was really a bit too expensive for what it is and I would have preferred to stay somewhere else for the amount of money that we paid.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was absolutely amazing hostel very close to the thermals and to the main town/strip. Was no more than 10 minute walk to the bus station / 15 minutes from the train station. Remember there are no taxis or cars in this little city. Hostel was Surrounded by restaurants. The room was very spacious, super clean and had a tv. The breakfast was the best I have had from all my stays in Peru. The family serves breakfast from 4am and will make you fresh eggs, have fresh bread croissants, coffee, teA. WiFi was good as well. Overall over-exceeded our expectations! The family was super nice and even held our luggage during the hike and let us shower after for whatever we wanted to give them.
Cons: Nothing we loved it!
7.5 Good
Pros: I stayed two nights and have nothing to complain about the cleaning.
Cons: The windows open to the staircase. No outside windows.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful in our journey to Machu Picchu. Friendly staff and very comfortable beds. Front desk also allowed us to leave our bags while we went up to Machu Picchu which was very nice.
Cons: No fan in the room which made it quiet hot with three people and lots of mosquitos outside so we couldn’t open the window!
6.3 Good
Pros: Very Early breakfast possible. Very nice and friendly owner.
Cons: It is soooo loud outside on the busy street. The window are basic and thin. Only with earplugs possible to sleep.
8.3 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room was specious and its location was close to the center. I espeically liked that hot water worked very well.
Cons: Bathroom was a bit smelly and breakfast was not really good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is extraordinary! She verified that we had tickets to Machupicchu ready and went ahead helping us print all the bus and Machupicchu tickets without charging anything extra. She also recommended great dining spots which again exceeded our expectation. Per her recommendation, dinner at Full House and Mapacho were really great! Food at full house was a bit salty though.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the location of the hotel which is two minutes to the train station and maybe five minutes to the bus stop for the Machu Picchu mountain (two most critical spots for many tourists!). Actually this might not be any advantage since the town is very small and I guess the maximum is only ten minutes. Yet, I liked it! Anyways, two reasons why I liked the hotel is first of all the lady waiting in the front desk. If she doesn't have a trip she is there almost 24h every day. :) She was very helpful. Gave us all the basic and major information in few minutes. Since we were short in time this really helped us a lot. Rooms were clean. Also after Cusco (where we stayed in a classy hotel -actually a semi palace where tourists were visiting and taking photos!-which was very very cold! Stone walls, no heating!) Samuels Haouse was very nice. Smaller room, a ball heater was sufficient to make the room as hot as a Turkish bath! We visited Machu Picchu August and the nights were actually cold. So hot room and hot water was really a blessing for me!
Cons: I stayed in a room which had a window only to the inside stairs. That was not something I would recommend. Even though guests were generally very careful, their walking and sound might distract you.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good food in the breakfast, simple room but organized with clean bedding.
Cons: No bath mat available in the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Melissa was wonderful. She met us at the station and helped us buy bus tickets before walking us to the hotel. Our room was huge and clean. Melissa was ready at 5am with a picnic breakfast bag for us to take to Machu Picchu. She kindly stored our bags for the day and offered us a waiting room to relax in before our train. We really couldn’t have asked for more.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is nice. Can take away with sandwich, fruits and snacks or can eat in with bread, cereals and fresh fruits. Room is big and comfy. It is not super cold in the room but you have great blankets and a small heater. Staff is really nice. Great hot shower.
Cons: It was not quiet at all in the room because windows are thin so you can hear everything going on in the street. Also, walls are thin as well so you can hear people talking and listening to music at the reception.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff. Comfortable room. They kindly accommodated an early breakfast at 4.30 am.
Cons: Couldn't get the plug of my charger to fit into the power socket.....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is good, water is hot and the owners are SUPER nice & helpful. I highly recommend this hostel.
Cons: No

3.7 Mediocre
Pros: staff is pleasant Décor and looks are ok breakfast is average there is a option for omlette ( included, no additional cost)
Cons: very cramped space, small rooms, short beds not enough for 6 ft person. Bathrooms are very small. Whole hotel is about 100 feet wide. very poor internet in the rooms, ok internet in the lobby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location across the train station. Safe, good restaurants around, shopping
Cons: I guess the only thing will be the noise of the train passing by... it was not a problem for us. We slept like babies
9.4 Excellent
Cons: Hotel was very nice - the room i had was extraordinary due to its view and feeling that you were hovering above the rapid river outside the window. Lastly the staff was very kind and went out of their way for me. In particular the front desk girl Chris was absolutely spot on with her recommendations and her attentiveness to all my sometimes difficult travel requests. I travel a great deal and it is rare that I find a person that was that helpful and aware of what my needs would be as a short term traveler to a historic site like Machu Picchu.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and if you get a room on the river side you can hear it all night long which is really relaxing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for taking the bus to Machu Picchu and arriving by train. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Very expensive for what you get. It’s because of the location but still very expensive. You can hear the trains as well which are very loud.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very central to town. Right next to the place that the bus to Machu Picchu leaves from.
Cons: The water in the river is misleading since its mostly a dry stream through a majority of the year except the rainy season. The wifi didn’t work in our room. And the train passed right in front of the entrance. While this was a novelty, it did get a little loud at times.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Excellent staff.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Not at all what was advertised. The keys opened all the rooms (not just your own)... nobody to help with luggage. BEYOND expensive for basically a very bad motel. Said there were double beds and there were two of the smallest beds I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Horrendous experience, do yourself a favor and stay far away. Wouldn’t refund or reduce the price, totally unreasonable. Biggest waste of (a lot of) money possible
7.9 Good
Pros: convenience, friendly staff. Our porter came to pick us up at the train station. We opted for the suite and glad we did! The hot tub was a welcome sightn after an afternoon hike to the Sungate, we were exhausted and sore. We took turn soaking in the hot bath.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Wonderfull hotel, with great staff. I loved it. Hi quality rooms, food and facilities.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful & accommodating. River view room (versus city view) is a must. Location was very central, can't beat it (the train literally drops you off right in front of the hotel). We were given an extended checkout until 12pm so that we could shower and freshen up after visiting Machu Picchu. Very much appreciated! Also booked a Swedish Massage at their spa (therapist was an outside contractor) but was VERY pleasantly surprised at how good she was, definitely recommend after traveling/hiking. Concierge was also very attentive and helpful in providing information & guidance (via WhatsApp). One of the bartenders also saved us as we were late getting back to the hotel to grab our baggage to board the train. He grabbed our things and made sure we got there in time! Thank you!!
Cons: The internet worked great downstairs, but was not working in the room. I had to go downstairs to use internet. Breakfast buffet was great, except the corn chowder (which I really wanted) was too salty.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Service and good beds. Location
Cons: One of our rooms smelled of sweat... not very nice

Pros: The staff was amazing! The front desk guy was so awesome! He met us at the train station, helped us print our Machu Picchu tickets, and even after check out let us keep our bags there so we would t have to carry them around while we explored before our train home.
Cons: There seemed to be some confusion with my reservation. It was a last minute booking and through hotels.com to book.

Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed our stay at Panorama BnB. They did a great job keeping the hotel simple, yet clean and a positive experience. While the the rooms where bit large, they were very comfortable and overlooked the river running through Aguas Calientes. Just a short walk to the bus and train station. Oh and lastly, their breakfast included with hotel stay was superb! The best we’ve had on our two week travels through Peru! And final bonus, they let us keep our bags at the hotel after checkout until our train departed - this was a lifesaver for our final day at Machu Picchu!
Cons: None. Overall it was a great stay and exceeded my expectations!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was nice hotel with a WOW view to the river and mountains, very nicely Located far from the busy centre, in a peaceful area. Very friendly and helpful receptionist, who helped me with tickets and other advices. The room was great, just a bit sandy floor and humidity a little bit more, then I expected, but nothing really could make you unhappy there with such an amazing view. Highly recommended to stay there for few nights.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. The man who helps with the luggages to the train station was very lovely and helpful. The location would have been great if not for the construction site next door
Cons: Noisy construction next door and sometimes the workers would be on our balcony. No elevator which is hard for us being on the top floor and still adjusting to the altitude.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is adorable, very comfortable, great location, terrific service.
Cons: Nothing - it was terrific
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A few minute walk from the bus station, and the second closest hotel in the pueblo of Machupicchu to the 2ish hour hike up the mountain--so it's ideal for anyone going up to Machu Picchu on wheels or by foot. They serve a nice buffet style breakfast at 4:30AM with a friendly employee (didn't catch his name) who doesn't seem to mind working that early. Went their with my father, and it was a great time! Would stay there again
Cons: nothing!

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The place is filled with alternative drawings and colorful.
Cons: The burned oil smell from kitchen is everywhere. The upstairs shared room had no air. The two small windows if that room are opening the interior (which has oil smell and heavy hot air). And the only fan in the room greasy and dusty (check pic) The place is very primitive. Nothing is organized. There was no toilet paper and the strainers in the bathroom was clogged with hair.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Its really friendly accommodation. Staff was young and perfectly nice. We also played beerpong at the roof bar of this hostels, so that was really cool. Food was also very good, i guess only vegetarian hamburger in whole Aguas Calientes... :-) Highly recommend this accommodation. Thx for all

Pros: Good location, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was excellent.

7.5 Good
Pros: The location is great ; a walking distance for the town. The lady was helpful and mad sure we had a brown bag with something to eat for our Machu Picchu journey.
Cons: I had to pay cash. I dont like traveling with a lot of cash and I wanted to pay with credit card but ithe machine was 'broken'. I had to change money and since is not a major city, the rate was low. I thought it was a tactic to get paid cash, but I don't know. The Machu Picchu breakfast was missing water or juice but I should had opened it and asked for it before leaving in the morning.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Central location, close to train station. Staff friendly although only speak in spanish. The owner came for us when we arrived with train.
Cons: No hot water, coldest water in peru. Room filled with mosquitoes. Simple breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome place for very reasonable price. Near to the centre, waterfall, bus station and railway station, nice breakfast, view from the room is breathtaking. Attached washroom, hot water 24*7, clean , host was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Everything was good, the waterfall was very near so that might be a problem for some people if they are a light sleeper but for s it was perfect.
7.5 Good
Pros: Jessica's attitude is exactly what a stay should exhibit. She was a marvel!
Cons: Jessica was awesome. She really made all the difference because her cheerful attitude and help. Breakfast stops at 8am, this is unheard of. There was a nice view but due to construction no sleep after daylight at all. Shower was either scalding or freezing, although if patient as a saint you get to rinse by adjusting dozens of times. Internet very spotty, frustrating. It's right in thr train tracks, so loud trains go by, which didn't bother me because the hammering and drilling and pauses and repeat starting at daybreak makes insanity toast out of what was supposed to be the extra day if rest after 12 hours at Machu Picchu. Unless you want to pay high end for stays in Peru, you will always find bad situations st stays. It sours the experience. Shoo plan for 50 dollar a night plus stays.

Location is perfect - Consettur bus ticket office is 10metres around the corner and the Machu Picchu bus stop is 50-100metres down the same street from the front door. Restaurants are a 50metre walk. It was an easy 5 to 10minute walk from the train station. Great value for money, clean and presented well.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Cons: No MasterCard pay
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I booked here to be close to the bus stop up to Machu Picchu 20m down the road and as I had a ticket for the 06:00 shift as the Ministry of Culture now describes a visit to Machu Picchu I wanted to be at the bus as early as possible to get the most out of my shift and to beat the crowd that starts forming at 4:30. The hotel staff were great and even had a good breakfast packed for my wait in the queue, the room was large with the river out the front damping out any noise so is a very peaceful place even though its in the town.
Cons: With the hotel I had little issue, the elevator was not working at the time of my stay, but as I was only one floor up this was not an issue for me but older people with bags it could be. It was 8 years since my last stay in Aguas Calientes and while the general layout of the town is the same the number of dogs wondering about, dog excrement and the smell of urine had increased significantly as had the number of prostitutes, as with the entry price for a shift for a one way circuit of Machu Picchu, food and drink prices have near doubled in the past 8 year making it an expensive place compared to Cusco so the hotel was excellent value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As I stepped off the train I wondered where could .my hotel be however as I glanced up it was right there! Located directly opposite the station and with bus stop for the bus to Macchu Picchu right outside. There could be no better location. Also the place to buy the bus ticket was nearby. The owners were so helpful and definitely went out of their way to assist me with everything. They were so easy going and spoke enough English for me to get great advice. I will stay there again. They even called my taxi to pick me up from Poroy station to Cusco when I checked out. Such a life saving gesture.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location is very good. 20 sec to bus stop and 3 min to the train
Cons: They didn't acsept credit card, the stuff was unpolite and very slow. Also the main door is closed after 23-00.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good located, clean a little cold (the room).
Cons: Good located, clean a little cold (the room).
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was one of the most interesting hotels I've ever stayed at. The design and layout was so interesting and great location. Staff so helpful and really helped us with our stay and tourist activities
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location near the main plaza, staff attentiveness
Cons: wish they had an elevator :-)
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was so so but they did make eggs to order. Things were running low, even coffee. Very unique, rustic, beautiful, crazy, fire hazard. Lots of steps going up up up, which was kind of cool. I loved the funky charm
Cons: Breakfast could have been better, and if there was a fire, getting out would have been tough. But it’s part of the adventure!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is very close to the train station and in the middle of everything. The staff are nice and very helpful. Breakfast is quite good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very interesting layout of the hotel, something completely different! We had a lovely stay at your hotel and thank you very much for the kind service at the front desk!
6.3 Good
Pros: Central location Good WiFi Helpful staff - sorted out changing from original room to new room
Cons: Rooms very basic and not very clean Original room very noisy and water leaking through electric light fitting - staff moved us to nicer quieter room
1.0 Poor
Cons: - after paying extra for a family room with a spa bath, we could not use it as the water was running brown/yellow. The hotel did not take any responsibility for this when we complained. - room smelled of sewage and covered up by air fresheners - not safe for kids, the balcony has balustrades which my daughter could fit between and there was a long drop below. - dirty bathroom
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so knowledgeable and helpful. Also, brilliant location for getting bus to Machu Picchu.
Cons: the hotel is comfortable but a little basic, but as most people will be staying only one night it is worth the trade-off as the staff can really help you with your bus tickets and journey to MP.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room and amenities were excellent. Fantastic location and the concierge were a great help in keeping your bags if you plan to stay the night for an early morning departure for Maccu Piccu. The room smelled great, amazing view, and a huge balcony if you get the Master suite.
Cons: Unfortunately more than a few rooms suffers from bed mites. It's a huge problem for this hotel despite everything else being excellent. Would have been a 5-star review but the mite problem brings down to 3-Star
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanliness
Cons: Rooms Abit small
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: breakfast was good
Cons: Shower flooded room and soaked our bags due to no Teflon on shower head connection, bathroom door almost knocked me out it was so close to the toilet, had to kill several large bugs and was attacked through out the night because all the windows have a 1 inch gap between them and the place is was wall to wall windows. The room we stayed in was not one of the rooms I saw in the pictures.

Cons: The street was noisy but this also gave a lot of atmosphere
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, just nearby the train station and 3 mins to walk to bus stop.
Cons: Some bugs found on the bed, might because the window cannot be closed week. And a little bit noisy due to the train
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great service
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location Great staff Early and good breakfast
Cons: Toilettes are quite old
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. They did not speak English but they were very helpful and patient with us, as we did not speak Spanish. The room was quiet with the sounds of water from the river. The shower was hot, with great pressure. There was soap, shampoo and towels. The restaurant was good and the drinks were cold.
Cons: I have no complaints. I would stay here again if the opportunity arises.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed staying here. Loved the hot shower!! My friend and I were very happy about that. Our host was incredibly sweet and helpful with whatever we needed. Room was very clean. It was convienently located - 4 min from the train station and about 5 min to the Machu Picchu bus stop.
Cons: I guess the downside would be we had the side where the train passes through, so it was loud. However, it didn't really both us and after Machu Picchu, we completely knocked out. The other side is the river and maybe would've been more quiet? The one thing that did really bother us is after we got our laundry done from them (they take it to another place), was that we had some pinkish/reddish marks on some of our clothes. It was minor but didn't realize it until it was too late. We couldn't figure out what it was exactly, and it seems to slowly come off...? Other than that, everything was great.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. We originally booked 4 rooms as we made bookings at different time but when we arrived there was no problem to change it in to 3 rooms and cancel one. No extra cost either :)
Cons: The train tack literally outside my room but my friends having rooms on the other side were ok.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hot water, lovely view, reasonably priced meals available in their restaurant attached to the hotel. Good breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and location is amazing
Cons: Someone could find closeness to the railroad a little bit annoying but it actually is convenient
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location...location...location
Cons: Noisy room the train was passing by and I got the feelingthat it would crosss the room!! I didn't sleep at all. There was a strange smell in all the property, the bathroom was old and the room was small.
7.4 Good
Pros: At first glance we thought Adelas was in perfect location! 5 minute walk from PeruRail station and the Machu Picchu bus stop. The room was comfortable for the price. Clean sheets and towels.
Cons: Our room was faced the railroad tracks so as we tried to rest early for our Machu Picchu trek we would hear a loud train speed by and honk an extremely loud horn. The last train passed around 11:30pm... We were in bed at 9pm and could not sleep. It would be nice if the hotel offered ear plugs to help guests sleep.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfy. Room was clean. There were enough outlets for 2 people. Close walk to everything.
Cons: That the train would run right next to it. It didn’t bother me personally, but if you’re sensitive to loud noises, the train might bother you.
