Pros: Emma and her husband were amzing hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The beds were the comfiest beds ever and had a lovely room (pics don't do it justice!) Felt very homely and even had two lovely pooches as company! Would definitely stay again if in the area...Thank you
Cons: Advised was pay at the property but the full amount was being held...this could have been explained better as caused me to go overdrawn.
Pros: Everything was excellent - what a wonderful B&B. Thank you to Emma and Nick for looking after us so well.
Pros: Very homely and welcoming, Emma was a fantastic host. Very quiet location with a lovely garden with a lake and wildlife.
Cons: Was a clear 10 out of ten for me. I will deffinatly be booking again as stay was made to feel chilled and relaxing. Breakfast hits the spot with added view out to the fields and pond.
Pros: Excellent stay, unfortunately I was there for an event so I did not have long to stay at the property, but both Emma and her husband were very welcoming and the room was superb.
Cons: As mentioned I was attending an event so I didn’t have much time to spend at the property, for me though there were no negatives.
Pros: Lovely property and owners. Very welcoming like stopping with your own family. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room with everything you could want. Beautiful view from our room. Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a shower in the bathroom. But not a big problem.
Pros: We loved all of it!!! The host, the view, the breakfast, rooms and the location. We arrived late due to some news on the Friday and were greeted flexibly with complete understanding by our wonderful host Emma who showed us around her beautiful property. The rooms are very well sized and the little touches like the emergency toiletries and filtered water as well as coffee, a range of teas and biscuits were much appreciated. Breakfast was simply fantastic, Emma runs you through a range of options and you can have as much or as little as you like. I can tell you all of it is amazing and the breakfast table chat was thoroughly enjoyed (so much so we ended up late to our makeup appointment oops!!) We all had a great sleep and then wow the morning view! It is something else. We were down for a wedding and unfortunately one of our party fell ill and I had to go to hospital and was unable to make breakfast on our second morning. Not only did Emma show genuine concern but took my breakfast off the bill. Emma also offered to run my mum and sister back to the wedding venue to meet me and couldn’t have done enough to accommodate us. Emma, thanks again everything really was top notch! I hope we have another wedding your neck of the woods soon so we have another chance to stay. We hope to see you soon! The Ryan Family! :)
Cons: There was genuinely nothing we didn’t like!!

Plastic free bathroom (top marks) and exceptional customer service - I was greeted promptly and warmly at check-in, staff were attentive throughout dinner and breakfast, and the check-out was hassle-free. The location is superb, the rooms and pub are well sound-proofed so no noise from the road. My only disappointment was that I couldn't stay for longer. I really recommend.
Cons: Very minor but two improvements to the room would be hooks near the door for coats and a stool for the dressing table.

Pros: It was a perfect beautiful room with exceptionally accomidating staff
Pros: Everything was perfect. Beautiful comfortable room, friendly owners, delicious food. Absolutely lovely! We could not have been looked after better.

The location is perfect for a rural retreat, with great views and giving a feeling of peace and tranquility. Our breakfast was comprehensive, extremely tasty and satisfying. Pros: Hillary's place was excellent value. A very large room with lovely furnishings and even it's own little kitchen. The private bathroom was a very high standard with large shower and bath and everything supplied that you needed. Especially appreciated that nothing was disposable so no wasted plastic. Lovely touches stocked fridge fresh milk, butter, cereals, orange juice etc. Location -it is where it says it is! Taxis were awkward on a Sunday morning but Hilary arranged for her lovely husband to give us a lift back to our car, which was so kind. This place is a little treasure and any negative reviews on here are not fair - it goes way beyond the price and I highly recommend it. Thanks Hilary!

Pros: Breakfast was far too expensive at £18 per person
Cons: No walk in shower, although some effort was made for disabled clients. Only shower over bath - not suitable for disabled No toilet roll holder - bizarre! Door when closing banged loudly No close by disabled parking - closest bay was full of a rolls roycs car all the time and drop kerbs were nowhere near the main entrance. The re-set button for accidental touching of red cord was placed too near the bathroom door and confusing to clients No teabags or UHT cream for self making tea in the room - had to ask for these standard items No brochure or info could be found in the room on what was being provided by the hotel except the breakfast cost above Had to ask for water to be delivered
Pros: Good staff, nice breakfasts. Local power cut at 09:10 on the Friday, no hot water or electricity, going to a wedding in Nantwich, staff organised a free room at their hotel in Tarporley for us to get ready in, all without being asked. Top work!
Cons: Nothing not to like.
Pros: Excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely peaceful setting. We will be staying frequently on our trips from Scotland to visit family in London.
Cons: Everything was satisfactory
Pros: Staff were very friendly.
Cons: Room was cold and dark. People outside patio door at night .
Cons: there was no hot water. half the things we ordered from the menu for dinner were unavailable. the staff did not communicate with us. We could not use the swimming pool. The golfers right outside our window were very noisy.
Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: Seemed to be a bit chaotic at times
Pros: Spacious Rooms. Gym and Pool
Cons: Rooms are outdated, restaurant service is very slow. food is average at best. Overall cleaning.
Pros: Breakfast was very good value and very nice. The location was perfect as I needed to be close enough to a client for a meeting the following day. The roads were not too busy so I did not have to rush.
Cons: I have a pet hate, and that is talking money at the dinner or breakfast table. Upon arrival I chose to pay for breakfast and also pre-authorised my credit card for dinner. However at dinner the waiter said that we were room only and dinner was extra, he should have known this was not the case, so I found myself in a busy restaurant explaining that I had paid for dinner. Also at breakfast I had to pass over a voucher, while this was not a bad at the evening meal situation, is it really necessary?
Pros: Executive double included 2 arm chairs also a walk in shower as well as a bath
Cons: View from the room up a hill.
Pros: It was lovely and clean with friendly staff. I went half board and the food was very good with lots of choice.
Cons: The room had poor lighting and heating didn't work, but then i wasnt staying in room a lot. Classic king bed was two single beds pushed together and one was higher than the other.

Pros: The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable with a large dip on one side. The toilet was broken on arrival and although fixed quickly it didn't flush very well. there seemed to be a lot of masking tape on the shower. Overall the hotel looked tired and very dated
Pros: Stayed in the loft which was like a self contained flat. Very nice.
Cons: Didnt have breakfast as it was priced at £10 per person - for 5 of us that is a lot of money.
Pros: I liked the open fire. Stayed in the loft it was beautiful.
Cons: The shower was not very good. Also had no hairdryer and would have been nice to have a toaster in the kitchen.
Pros: This was a relaxed, informal and friendly hotel. The staff were particularly welcoming and the food was excellent
Pros: Warm welcome - friendly staff - good food and open log fire
Cons: poor broadband connection
Pros: The setting and peace and tranquility. The welcome and the service. The quality of the rooms and the bathroom etc. The mixture of pub and hotel blends well. The restaurant and the breakfast was excellent. Staff show good knowledge of wines etc. so all in all, very good.
Pros: The food was excellent and the host and hostess and owners of the hotel was very friendly profesional and experienced. The room was comfortable and the staff warm and friendly agood at the jobs
Pros: Perfect location, quiet and lovely. Great evening food and breakfast was the best ever...
Cons: 'Noisy' bed & very wet 'wetroom'
Pros: More or less everything. The location is very pleasant and relaxing, the area is very peaceful, the food and drink was excellent and the management and staff. were extremely helpful and friendly
Cons: We found that the "wetroom" concept took a bit of getting used to and we would have preferred a traditional shower.
Pros: Great staff, very welcoming, friendly and efficient
