The names of Cornish towns for the rooms a very nice idea Very clean and personal kind
Simple, friendly - good pub - good breakfast. En suite bathroom was a bit cramped. General condition of the hotel was a bit tired.
Only stayed for the one night, all the staff that I saw were very polite and helpful, the room was comfortable and presented very nicely.
Staff were great, kind and helpful. It was near sea with a beautiful pedestrian walk just 5 min walk. It was also near town centre and a Tesco Express for a quick shopping! Due to there being a (classic) bar at the ground floor in the hotel, there were loud noises coming out starting from about 8:00pm to midnight; it was weekday though! Also, I did not like the breakfast as there was a very limited variety of foods/choices for the breakfast.
Location was superb and picturesque, food was excellent and gravy was the best but limited choice, locals were really friendly and made us welcome, we were in the cottage next door and found the room (5) very small , We were next to the road and the front door and some people cant shut a door quietly as they enter and leave thats not forgetting the seagulls at 6am. We wern't fussed on the selection of beers and their prices .
The location overlooking the unique harbour could not be bettered and although being a busy pub and restaurant, we had a peaceful night.
staff very friendly food excellent very nice pub beautiful views all perfect for us
Its location On arrival our greeting was poor, they had no record of us staying luckily we had our booking.com copy, the room had not been vacuumed or cleaned properly and had an awful damp odour. we found the staff not very friendly in general disappointed with our stay.
The location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lighting on the staircase in the house adjoining the hotel
The rooms were very nice and had all sorts of thoughtful frills. The location.
The welcome and hospitality could not be improved - Lynda and Rob are running a very friendly house which is comfortable and beautifully furnished and decorated.
Very good view, excellant breakfast None
Breakfast was the best!!
Our twin room on the ground floor (no.4) was very spacious and extremely clean. Shower Ensuite was very stylish, modern and clean. (electric shower itself however could do with being replaced to a new one as pressure quite low) A lot of brilliant extras such as hairdryer, biscuits, cappuccino, shower gel, shampoo, cotton pads etc. TV also very good. Staff was second to none - brilliant advice given to where to go and what to do.
Fantastic view Very friendly and helpful staff Excellent breakfast Good value Not easy to find Heated towel rail did not work
I found Panorama Guest House a wonderful place. Lynda and Rob were so very nice, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and all was decorated to a very high standard. The food was scrumscious. A wonderful stay, will stay there again and bring friends. No bad points
I found the hotel to be of the highest standard, clean rooms, comfortable beds, a wonderful cooked breakfast and welcoming hosts.
Amazing views from the residents dining room and lounge. Was situated at the top of an extremely steep hill and to have an evening meal you either have to drive or walk down the hill.
The very friendly and attentive owners, the comfortable bed with a good breakfast to start the day.Nothing was too much trouble. No comments.
Friendly welcome, pleasant and friendly bar and restaurant staff, comfortable room with outstanding view. Breakfast staff not as accommodating as evening staff - had "run out of" porridge!?! In rather a hurry!
Super friendly and really great fun None to speak of
Have stayed several times before but first time since refurbishment has been completed. Still love the place and now rooms have been upgraded it made for a very pleasant stay nothing
Good breakfast! None.
Very comfortable, clean, nice room, pub - enjoyed meal Public areas such as lounge and dining area a bit tired-looking
This is a local's pub, and welcoming and friendly in every way. Whether you want a quiet meal, a drink, or somewhere to spend the weekend, The Old Success Inn is a fine Cornish pub that can accommodate all. Sennen Cove is a beautiful spot, anytime of the year. Stunning views, open to the elements, but cosy pub to come back to. Staff are all very welcoming, couldn't do enough. We had a wonderful weekend away. Will be back again! Nothing, except Stowell's wines on tap, awful but staff offered a restuarant wine by the glass, so we were happy. I do not understand why brewery's think that these wines are what people want. People settle for these in the absence of anything decent, or not liking beer, or cider. This is no reflection on the Old Success, its a comment for the brewery.
Very friendly welcome, very cosy room, food very good and felt extremely relaxed.
The friendly staff and the ease of 'feeling at home'
Friendly, clean and accessible. Nothing
Great service and food! 10 out of 10
Totally an excellent experience. I have never stayed in a b&b before and this will not be the last. No bad points at all.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Warwick House, our room was very comfortable and nicely thought out. Our hosts ensured we made the most of our holiday and gave us many suggestions for activities in the area. Breakfast was a real treat everyday. I highly recommend this choice.
The hospitality, food, accom, facilities and location. none
Made very welcome, helped me in any way they could, especially in arranging accomodation overnight in London. There were none.
This is quite simply the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The room had the most beautiful view posible, you could see out to sea for miles. The room was perfectly clean. I could not fault the cleaners at all, they did a fantastic job every day. The owner of the hotel was amazing. He is the most helpful and friendly man you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. Everyday he asked us our plans for the day and then gave us information such as tide times, opening times, bus times etc to help our stay. He also suggested a walk between Sennen and Land's End which turned out to be the highlight of our holiday. The breakfasts were lovely and the choice was unbelievable. I had a different breakfast everyday and each one was excellent. I travelled with my brother, who is vegetarian, there was several choices for him to have for breakfast which was a great suprise. The hotel puts two folders in each room. One contains menus from local restaurants and pubs to aid your stay. The other contains information on the location of the nearest chemist, bank etc. Both of these came in very handy and showed that the owners really care about you. The check in was very quick and the owner also carried our bags to our room. He showed us around the room to say where everything was. One night, the 2 owners went for a walk to visit friends. They left a note on the reception table saying where they had been and giving their mobile phone number. They also left a mobile phone by the letter so that you could contact them if you needed to. The hotel was within 5-10 minutes or several quality pubs/restaurants and also the main shopping area around Market Jew Street. The hotel was also very quiet though, the only sounds we could hear was those of the tide and the odd sea gull. I am sure that I will visit Penzance again soon and this hotel is my one and only choice of where to stay again. No bad points. Cannot fault this hotel.
Cleaness of the entire house. Very impressive. View from the dining room is nice. Chris is a very nice person. Just 10 minite walk from the rail station. The heater in my room was too small to appropriately warm my room.
The location was lovely and ideal for walking. I found it very hard to sleep the first night because the walls are so thin that I could hear the guest in the adjoining room talking walking around the dog knocked over items in the room attached it sounded like they was in our room.
Very quaint accomodation
Excellent food, service and location. Slightly difficult to reach, and no map given. But the isolation was also a plus point!
Owner manager very nice guy and all staff helpful. Food good but rather lacking in flavour.eg game pate tasted of nothing and lemon tart needed some lemon in it ! waitresses should keep a closer eye on diners to avoid long waits for attention which was difficult to signal when they are not looking ! however I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. I wish them success as they gain in experience. Great location and homely atmosphere both relaxing. Sorry.....see above ! mixed in with the good !
the breakfast. Staff attitude and honesty temperature and layout of room. lack of full facilities advertised.
Fantastic cuisine, great staff, beatifull place. No bad points[one bad point for me,i did too short reservation, next time I wish to stay longer]
Lovely location, cosy lounge, pleasant dining room and terrace.Bed very comfortable and huge.Lovely large towels. Hotel being renovated, wet paint everywhere. No bedside table for lamp glasses etc. Asked for a chair to use as table. Did not get one.No chair to sit on only bed. New owners been there one winter. Obviously working hard to get things up to scratch. Long way to haul cases to reception and then to room. No help available. Staff pleasant but were.busy from big function the night before. Tables not laid properly, no cruet, kept having to ask for missing items. Swim pool not up to standard, but in room brochure explained it is only still open at request from locals. It is due for refurb. Nice golf course overlooking sea, very close to lovely walks and pleasant little town of St.Just. When all work done, it will be fine and we would go there for ambience and area. Host friendly and hard working.
Good all round deal. Room was a bit basic.
It was a lovely location, small and friendly and above all great value for money. The wind howling through the room!
Friendly helpful staff, delightful location, superb value for money, nice cuisine, impossible to fault, we would go there again One of the bedrooms was a little 'rustic' with a big skylight which let some light in at night, but apart from that no problems
we had some problems adjusting the hot water in our hotel room
The staff were very friendly, the breakfasts very high quality and the rooms very comfortable and clean. The host went out of his way to ensure we knew the area and offered lots of local tips/knowledge. We weren't able to stay longer!
The host, John is a gem, very social and keen to ensure one has the best experience in Cornwall.. Breakfast is excellent!! n/a
The room was very nice....and extremely warm. We were unable to find the source of the warmth, there being no radiators or heaters in the room. (under floor heating maybe ? or heat rising from an aga or such like underneath ? It would be nice to know. Breakfast was superb.
Friendly staff. Super breakfasts. On a bus route. Free parking ( and always available) in the road. Single room at top of approx. 60 stairs.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, room very clean.
My whole stay at Dunedin was excellent but particularly the Full English Breakfast was suberb and one of the best I have ever had and that includes breakfast at the Ritz.
We enjoyed our stay at Dunedin and found everything to be as advertised. Only a few minutes walk from the town centre and some good places to dine in the evenings.
