Family run hotel with much charm. More personal than any other room that we had. Play area outside for kids and very nice staff.
Pros: Out of the way but has a lot of charm. The staff were great. Food was great and breakfast WAS included which made it one of the best and best value rooms we had on our trip. There were several bathrooms to choose from and they were clean and updated.
Cons: No TV in rooms, but it may have changed the feel of the area if there had been.
The hotel is in a most beautiful spot at the bottom of a mountain, the staff eager to please, the food delicious. I cannot think of one thing that I would change. This will definitely be a hotel I will revisit.
Pros: The friendliness and willingness of the staff to meet our every need. In fact, when we had to leave earlier then they served breakfast, they made a lunch for us to take with us instead!
Cons: No, I cannot think of one thing I didn't like about this hotel.
The hotel was in a beautiful area, though it's pretty inconvient for any shopping. It's close enough to be a good place to stay for skiing or for visiting Neueshwanstein. Our room was beautiful and we just wished we were staying longer, rather than just a brief overnight.
Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful rural location between two towns with a beautiful country feel inside. We upgraded our room for a few Euro and got a suite with an included bathroom, balcony, huge bed, couch with a hide-a-bed and beautiful furniture.
Cons: the staff didn't seem quite as friendly as I'm accustomed to in Bavaria, and their English was really rough for an area that I would think would attract so many tourists.
