Ran out of hot water (second person taking reasonable shower at 8:30 a.m. - seriously, had conditioner-crunchy hair for the balance of the day... ), so-so bed, and the only chair to look out onto the lake from was the rolling desk chair. All of this could be overlooked if the price wasn't three times other motel/hotels, and if the (otherwise smiling although somewhat uncoordinated amongst each other ) staff had simply asked how my stay was at checkout. They didn't, instead they questioned me -- twice -- as to why I wanted a printout of the invoice as we had no incidentals (because I didn't get a printout under my door, and because I wanted one.). As a Hilton Honors member this is one "newer" Hampton that caught me a bit off guard.
For the money, I would have hoped for better pillows.
