everything!! people are amazing there and we loved the hotel!! the best technology in and confort in europe!! totally kids friendly too!!
We felt really spoiled. This hotel gives you all the attention you need. I would recommend this to anyone! The sulfur springs nextdoor are also used for filling the swimmingpool, so this could be considered a spa as well... :)
Excellent swiming pool, calm, near to the beaches and nature reserve. possible to breakfast and dinner on the terrace Train line very close, although traffic wasn't too frequent.
Enjoyed the pool and sitting on the terrace, nice buffet breakfast in the dining room Landscaping is barren, needs outside work, and possibly more staff
It was very clean & fresh Overpriced for a hotel on the hiway when the pool & resturant were closed. Felt as though we'd imposed on the owners.
local info, and help as needed
The people there and the pool. The room was very nice and clean too. In about a year this place might be awesome, but for now it isn't ready. The restaurant runs only a very limited menu and the food is average set at an above average price. There is no internet. Overall they look they aren't really ready to open officially, but ready to pretend to be. The people there were very nice and friendly, but they can't make the bad things better only time can. Wasn't happy and we let them know it. They gave us no discount, but we didn't demand one either. They said we were, "very nice people".
The staff were extremely helpful the view of sunrise and sunset fab food good not superb and very close to the thermal cascades
Fantastic hotel in wonderful location. Excellent menu for lunch & dinner. Weather was good so we didn't have time to take advantage of the spa facilites. Wish we could have stayed longer. Cheerful and attentive staff.
Beautiful place on top of the hill overlooking Saturnia valley unfortunately the facilities quite small and overcroweded , great breakfast , the restaurant La Chianina Pescatrice the food is not the best , the service excellent !
Beautiful location.. Opened in 2007 and landscaping works incomplete. Some noise from chain saw disturbed the first day. No bar or lounge and poolside drinks a bit of an effort.
this hotel is wonderful- it is a very expensive hotel- and your rate was almost too good- would have paid more but not its full price- great location
The hotel itself The wifi doesnt work in the room n the ac was not working either
Quit environnment. Personel at reception desk and cleaning service good and professional. Architectual building mistakes in room. Airco blows you cold air in the face. Smaal rooms. Amazing so bad not experienced waiters...But very friendly..
the location, the grounds, the staff, the breakfast
Extremely friendly and helpful staff - very well equipped and comfortable room - excellent restaurant - amazing bargain
Sebastian at the front desk is great! would have appreciate at least one picture hanging on the wall of my room....
Good location of the hotel. Bus service going to and from the hotel and sun beds with umbrella is free on the beach near Porto Ercole, excellent beach. Have a garage with 10 places for cars. The hotel is still in it's late 80' when it comes to colours, but good beds and nice bathrooms that have recently been updated. Have a small tub on the roof with sun beds. Typical breakfast for 3 stars hotel. Internet cost € 5 for 1 hour. The aircondition is too cold, can't turn it down. Small elevator, can max be 4 people in it (without luggage) . Got a room that wasn't cleaned but we immediately got a new room. Stay off rooms near the mainroad, to much traffic to have a good night sleep. x01-x04
position in relation to old town no wi fi in the bedrooms
Efficient Hotel, Worthy of its 3 Star rating , Friendly staff , good buffet breakfast and some nice extra touches like a free bus service to the main beach if needed , which was 3 miles away. It is on a good bus service route from Orbetello Station if travelling by public transport. No
The staff were very helpful and the room was very clean. It was very useful to have a fridge in the room and the air conditioning was very efficient. The room for breakfast was dark and rather depressing. The croissants ran out. It would have been nice to have some fresh, rather than tinned, fruit.
the staff and size of the room as well as breakfast were great
Location was an easy walk to the town, spacious room, very quiet at night, free umbrella / lounges at the beach, great breakfast Uncomfortable (sagging) mattress, air conditioner was inadequate (especially during the night), the hotel description mentions swimming pool (not at the hotel) and the photo of the hot tub is misleading, the free shuttle to the beach was not available for three hours (wait for next group)
personnnel staff were very friendly, spoke English and explained many details about Orbetello. The beach was lovely with free umbrellas and chairs, and a fair restaurant. The Hotel rents bikes 10 euro per day. Breakfast really nice and fresh. Receptionist of night shift (Italian man) didn't speak English at all. The seaside is 6 km away from the hotel and the buses go there several times a day
Its location The hotel is in need of a general uplift a bit on the shabby side, but as a one night stay it was fine
Easy to get too and close proximity to our destination ie Porto Ercole and Porto S Stefano Felt that it is a bit pricey for the standard
The staff is absolutely amazing, very, very efficient indeed! The breakfast is sumptuous and you don't need to take the car to go to the beech (there are hotel buses) or spend any money to have an umbrella and beech chairs (the hotel takes care of that too!). The only thing we miss was fresh fruit at breakfast, a pity!
Great view and relaxing atmosphere Breakfast limited, would like some bacon and eggs
Privacy. Scenic drive up to it. Isolated location with spectacular views of the sea and islands. privacy of room. slow restaurant service. checkin. limited breakfast buffet.
the private beach was amazing, we could drive down to it and use the facilities- awesome! a final signpost would have been good to indicate that we had arrived at the hotel, signage was a bit obscure at times.
Absolutely stunning daytime sea views from the open garden/lawn viewing area, and spectacular sunsets (with drinks) at same area. Friendly staff. Access road very narrow and windy. Sea view room (premium rate) had only partial sea views, more mountain views. Dinner at restaurant was very expensive, and food only so-so. Room had usual problems of poor lighting and virtually no shelves for toiletries in bathroom.
Amazing views, especially from our own balcony and the garden/pool. Service and food was excellent. Garden is beautiful. Many cute & social little cats. :) There are no other services or restaurants nearby, quite an isolated place. However, it brought very nice tranquille feeling to our stay.
Views Small rooms. In ned of refurbishment. Poor breakfast
Cozy rooms, nature, stunning view from the balcony, reception staff poorly cleaned in the room, cook in a restaurant is tasteless, the rooms don't have Internet.
stunning view, nice setting, quiet restaurant did not meet expectations: no outdoor space to have lunch, relatively too expensive for the offer they got, dishes not outstanding (grilled fish was still cold inside, semi fredo still frozen)
Comfortable. Incredible views. Great staff especially Stephania at front desk.. Good price. Dining seemed expensive. Bar service outside sometimes too slow.
the views were outstanding, very beautiful in good weather.Food good but expensive. somewhat remote, noisy shutters in the wind which keep you awake.
Remarkable place just one easy hour from Roma Port and cruise ships. Breakfast was memorable and view was also. Highlight was the fun village to walk in and have pizza in. No parking charges. Rent Budget at Roma airport then drop at port, free to ship not at all
I liked the beautiful and very romantic landscape, the silence, the big and clean rooms, the traditional furniture. I also liked the staff that was very friendly and relaxed. The atmosphere, espacially at the evening, when the moon started rising was brilliant. Also the food in the restaurant of the hotel is very good, but you have to be lovers of exquisite kitchen, which means small plates and quite expensive prices. You can visit a lot of very beautful small villages around, that will surprise you a lot while discovering them. The breakfast, although tasty, was extremly italian, which means instead of bacon and eggs and a nice bread, there was mainly very sweet cake. Something which is surely a bit difficult to adapt for guests from other countries. Indeed the hotel is about one hour driving from the sea.
Hotel's restaurant with nice employees and good food. Remote, quiet and beautiful location. Big Swimming-pool Hotel owners don't speak English at all and therefore are not very communicative. Restaurant employees make up for it. Overall a bit expensive though
Charming family-run relais located in the heart of Tuscany. Ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet in the countryside. We arrived one day in advance and luckily they had a room for us. Since it's family-run they might sometimes find it difficult to accommodate guests requests especially last-minute requests or changes especially regarding the restaurant which you need to book in advance for.
The Hotel was situated well fro our drive from Rome to Livorno, has a great swimming pool, and room was big Hotel Staff do not speak English
Very relaxing, quiet, convenient for Saturnia spa, nice pool, nice room and reasonable price for the area. Unfortunately could only stay one night,so didn't get the chance to eat at the hotel.
Relaxing and good None
The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly The standard double room shown at the photo, is far better than the one we have been given. Also the pool was empty although it was a pretty hot day, and all other hotels we've stayed at, during the same period, had their pools in full operation
Wonderfull stay in Toscana near Saturnia spa. Relaxing stay, brilliant food and friendly staff.
very poor quality and choice of breakfast
Lovely spot. Bedroom too small
Nearby free parking, free wi-fi, good breakfast, nice little town small rooms, high price
The view was lovely and the breakfast was complete. It really improved the value of the room.
Good location, quiet, cleanliness, courtesy
its location in the center of the town telamonio
nothing no elevator, you have to carry your luggage on stairs. swiming pull (rather a large bath tube) on top of the hotel not opened. This hotel has nothing to do with a 4 star hotel. (bed and breackfast)
The facilities and location were superb. The hotel was clean and homely and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Nice hotel set in city centre of Talamone, a sleepy little town on the Maremma coast. Clean, comfortable rooms with A/C, minutes away from the sea with staircases leading down to beach below the cliffs. Great place to stay for a weekend! Breakfast selection could have been a bit more varied.
great location, beautiful town, great breakfast shower
The staff was excellent. Very nice hotel Had to change room after first night, smelle of smoking. Phone in second room did not work.
A very nice Hotel. Clean, comfortable right in the centre of town. Would stay here again. Not applicable
Excellent staff service lack of evening restaurant
The room, the staff, the location - steps from town center, the breakfast. we had a small problem with the in room dsl connection
I stay in a lot of hotels. Afterwhile, all of them look alike. But every now and then, there's a hotel that does a little extra to make things not only different but also a great stay. The rooms are wonderful and kept in top condition. The cleaning staff goes above and beyond. The cleaned the wineglasses we had used the night before and put them on the drying towel and set them next to the wine bottle. They even folded my pajamas.
I liked the recepionist (Stephano?) the most. He was very kind and gave a great service.
A modern complex, the restaurant was undergoing interior alterations despite that the atmosphere was good, both the meal and waiter service was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to enjoy local produce; fresh seafood, wine and olive oil. We had a junior suite where the bedroom was up stairs. Given our age and mobility a single level room would have suited us better.
Location and view Limited menu, no coffee machine in room
Quiet location, not right in the town of Porto Santo Stefano, but right next. It is a quieter more convenient location.
A very clean well run hotel Beach was dirty only a few loungers no umbrellas and hotel was right on a main road so the sea view room which we had also had a main road under it.
Staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant was excellent. Breakfast very good. Hotel room was a good size and quite well appointed. Only minor point was the plastic chairs on deck - cheapened the room. Also, although there was pay tv, there were only news channels that we could access in English. Would have been nice to have been able to watch an "un-dubbed" movie.
beautiful setting their website doesn't have pictures of the rooms
The non-sea view rooms have a beatiful view of a green hill.
We enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff was friently. Room was clean and nice with balcony against to see. Beach located just in front of hotel - a road in between - but during our visit in Sept., there were not much to do or to stay. Restaurant served special menus every evening. Nothing special but food was ok. Tv doesn't work.
food was very good.room well decorated, nice view. Hotel is not as appears in photos ,on the beach, but is the other side of a busy road which has no pavement.
Very clean and easy to reach by car and good parking. Great view. Not much to do in the area off season. Breakfast was skimpy.
