Pros: Penzion Hana is very pleasant place with very kind staff. The room was clean and we felt very comfortable there.Center of the city is uphill very close to the pension. The breakfast room was small, but the offer has met our exceptation.
Pros: Good breakfast.
Cons: Check in was a little unfriendly, although the fellow who checked us in didn't speak English so perhaps he just didn't know what to say. The proprietress speaks English well and was helpful when she was available.
Pros: We arrived at Penzion Hana by bike and were impressed at how well they accommodated our bikes ( safely in a garage) and for our tired legs there was a lift ! The welcome was friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - in fact it was the best placed we stayed on our travels and was real value for money for our lovely room and breakfast.
Cons: nothing! all great
Pros: The staff are excellent, hospitable, helpful. Highly recommend this place!
Pros: Very clean. Very helpful staff.
Pros: Comfortable bed, airy room, excellent shower. Good breakfast. Plenty of room, liked having a sitting area in room..Empty fridge in room ran quietly, no noise and plenty of tea bags.Didnt notice any road noise once evening came.Safe bike storage in locked garage.
Cons: Road when we arrived has a loose drain cover so very annoying noise every time a car went over it.
Pros: clean room, nice and comfortable bed,
Pros: Very nice and clean room. Extremely friendly stuff
Pros: Big, comfortable rooms, easy to use bicycle storage, friendly staff, good and plenty breakfast. The elevator of accommodation :) Historical center of Melnik.
A historic villa amid a terraced park in the scenic Kokořínsko Nature Reserve, the Rezidence Liběchov offers fine Czech cuisine, a spa area and elegant rooms with L´Occitane toiletries. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Selected wallpapers, parquet flooring, rich fabrics and historic-style bathrooms provide for a stylish atmosphere in all rooms and suites. All come equipped with flat-screen TVs. Liběchov Castle can be reached within a 10-minute walk. The city of Mělník is 8 km away and Prague can be reached within a 40-minute drive. A wide range of typical Czech specialities and international cuisine are served in the restaurant, featuring an open fireplace and offering views of the surrounding park. Spa facilities include a hot tub, a steam bath and a sauna.
Pros: Good breakfast, nice but small room, bit old fashioned bathroom but no cold water ;-) Location is good (to other cities) and restaurant has good selection of local food. Staff is helpful and polite.
Cons: Not much happening close by.
Pros: The beds were great. The château was beautiful and had great parking spaces. Nice minibar and a spacious room.
Cons: Too much light in the morning from outside. Noisy because of the nearby road. Wellness was overpriced.
Pros: This hotel.may be off the beaten path, but it's definitely worth a visit. Situated in the heart of Bohemia, this former Schloss is gorgeously renovated and offers a beauriful garden that was just perfect for my dogs. The Concierge was friendly and helpful and speaks fluent English. In the near surrounds are lots of castles, a few swimming lakes, and a stunning nature preserve. If you are interested in history, the former Jewish Ghetto of Terezin is a 30-minute drive. The restaurant serves a limited but tasty selection. I plan to return one day to this charming boutique hotel.
Cons: The only downside of the stay was the neighborhood dogs who bark incessantly. They appear to remain outside 24-hours a day. Of course, this is beyond the control of the hotel owners.
Pros: Great room!
Cons: The service and the food did not match the asking price at all. This is no joke: we had a better breakfast in a hotel the next day which cost less than half the price.
Pros: Nice place with friendly staff. God home made breakfast, cleaning on hight level. Can absolutely recommend this place
Pros: Great restaurant. Basic breakfast. Clean room and very nice and quite location.
Pros: Newly reconstructed, clean & nice.
Cons: View to electric station. We had to check our at 10am because next guests are coming. 10 am is a bit to soon after party. I don’t care that about that because I have paid my stay. At 9:30 we started to receive phone calls with reminders to move soon.
Pros: Stylish acommodation in historicall villa. Helfpfull staff. Wellness was refreshing.
Cons: Almost all was perfect, there is not much to complain ..only small points like: we been promised by room with bath but we recieved only shower type. -Breakfast was OK but I expect little bit more for price, not many choices for vegetarians - ordinary but acceptable. Maybe could be good idea to start renting bikes to explore surroundings. I would expect some historical information about villa or general info about what we can do in this town to be recieved while introduction. but general impression is alright I would recommend.
Pros: The residential villa from the beginning of the past century with historical atmosphere. Good spot to start hiking through nearby Kokorin area. Very helpful staff.
Cons: The accommodation was perfect. Access by car is recommended. The tourist tracks to famous sandstone sculptures might be somewhat demanding to elderly persons.
Pros: Elegant, extremely helpful staff - an hour from Prague and airport - lovely!
With a stay at Apartmány V Podzámčí II. in Melnik, you'll be 19.8 mi (31.9 km) from PVA Letnany Exhibition Center and 19.9 mi (32 km) from Prague Botanical Gardens.
Pros: Good breakfast choices and extended hours, making it convenient for early and for late risers. Nice small garden out back. Location was great, with beautiful buildings and good restaurants nearby.
Cons: Shower was a bit of a challenge for my 80 year old husband - very high to step over.
Pros: Because of the doorbell that is connected via phone, the hosts can open the door remotely. Some guests initially did not understand the benefits of this system, but it really allows both parties great flexibility. The room was nicely decorated, airy and even had a fridge. The snack and the drinks were extremely reasonably priced. The bathroom was clean and good. The bed was comfortable, and all the linens were pleasantly clean. My room overlooked the garden, which may not be the case for all apartments, but therefore it was wonderfully quiet. Breakfast was laid out in the basement by the super-nice hostess. The choice may not be a s big as in a Prague hotel, but is totally sufficient and nicely presented. On the Saturday, we even had a home baked low-sugar cake! I stayed here in August, and for breakfast (and in fact all day) one could sit on the garden patio. Bicycles are extremely well stored in their own "cage" in that area which cannot be accessed from the street. As I was visiting a regatta in Racice/Steti, I had wondered about the drive. It was in fact super easy, and only took me about 20 minutes on good roads. For those who need internet: It works really well, and I had a table in my room where I was able to place my notebook and other stuff. There are enough power points to charge phones, etc. I did not use the TV, so no idea about the programmes.
Cons: even if I had to think really hard, I wouldn't be able to bring a negative point up!
Pros: Very nice arrangement within the apartment, all possible amenities were there including a dishwasher. Very friendly host and staff. Location in Melnik is fantastic. Breakfast and outside facilities are really nice
Cons: Curtains would be nice for late sleepers
Pros: An helpfull host and very polite. A clean room with a fridge and wifi. Easy to find and parkingfacilities opposite the Street.
Cons: No aircon, but host came with a ventilator.
Pros: Location, Old town and its square. Good restaurants cafes and atmosphere. Spectacular views and great cyclepaths and walking trails. Lenka is right we did enjoy Melnik
Cons: Nothing really
Pros: not very animal friendly - a lot of questions about our cat, if we will be leaving her in the room, where, how. checking room before we left.
Cons: not very animal friendly - a lot of questions about our cat, if we will be leaving her in the room, where, how. checking room before we left.
Cons: Horrible bed, pilows and sheets. Nothing like on the pictures. Very expensive. No value for the price.
Pros: The location is good.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable. Very poor breakfast and only cash payment acceptable.

Pros: Very bif room. Spacious bathroom. Clean and tidy. You can watch the horses trough the windows. Nice people run this place. Good price too.
Cons: Far from town. Not a very nice bike ride to get there.
Pros: We loved everything: the horses, the room, the staff (actually this is a family business). Everyone was so friendly and kind. The breakfast was cheap and was like you are the family's guest. We had no time/outfit for riding the horses, but we wanted to see them. One of the family members were so kind and showed them to us. We even had a chance to meet a baby horse! If we go to Prague's direction next time, it is not a question where do we want to stay again! Their beer was excellent, and you could also meet dogs and cats. They are running freely and they are very-very friendly. It has its own parking place.
Pros: This stay exceeded our expectations - better than on photos! Very nice owners, surrounding, we could see horses from the window with very nice panoramatic view. Comfy beds, everything was perfectly clean.
Cons: No breakfast option.
Pros: Breakfast ok.Good for 2 days
Pros: Perfect place for stay, if you like to stay outside the city. Very nice staff. Nice bar, with tasty local beer and wine. Quiet surrounding with nice view from window.
Pros: It's cheap and clean.
Cons: There are horses directly under the window which means some smell and many flies.
Pros: Needed a last minute accomodation for low cost.
Cons: Being a farm some flies about but not too bad

Pros: Well located close to centre
Cons: Old fashioned Soviet style
Pros: Very friendly staff. Large room, large bathroom, really great location
Cons: Bed not comfy at all, the building needs reconstruction, especially the bathroom and "restaurant" where breakfast was served, not happy to be having breakfast next to spider webs etc. :-(
Pros: A good place to have a rest.
Cons: How can you find the exact addres?
Pros: Generous European style breakfast. Our room was large with two windows and was in a very quiet area. It is very close to the centre of the town. Excellent wifi coverage.
Cons: The room smelt a little musty but it was very clean.
Pros: Safe place for bicycle in garage
Cons: The bathroom really needs refurbishing, molds at some place like in the shower.
Pros: The room was spacious, bed comfy, clean and the host was welcoming! Breakfast perfect! Location, very close to the old town, good parking outside on the road!
Pros: The room was more like an apartment; large and very comfortable. The shower had a couple issues, but that was small. Fridge in the room was nice; quiet all night... just great. The breakfast in the morning wasn't the typical buffet, which I prefer, but the guy behind the counter brought me bread, meats, cheeses, gave me coffee whenever I asked, and even made me a couple of eggs. So I had more than plenty. Really nice and patient with my poor Czech language.
Pros: Otherwise a good location and a good breakfast.
Cons: Too bad it was not possible to cover up at all. Thin transparent curtains. Woke up at 5pm by the sun in my eyes !!!! There was no electricity at all to charge the phone. Got the cable out to TV !!!!
Pros: This hotel is in easy walking distance to the historic sites in The town. The room was comfortable and breakfast was served to us.

Pros: The Restaurant Manager spoke very fluent English and was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Breakfast could have had more variety.
Pros: Quite nice restaurant in the building, very nice village outdoor pool besides the building. Breakfast simple and ok, carpets in the rooms.
Cons: You need to explicitely request queen bed, we were given two single beds. Bridge to Racice is closed due to reconstruction (this is out of control of Oaza, just we stayed here just to go to Labe Arena... and took us 35 min instead of 7). Saturday night there were guests siting outside in the restaurant and chatting laughing under the windows till almost midnight.
Pros: everything here is perfect. The location was the only problem.
Pros: Helpful staff - saved me from hunger:-) both in the evening and the morning. Big room, quiet place.
Cons: Room had some odor, but not too bad. The shower cabin had broken bottom and some dirt was coming out wen one steps in.

Pros: Room looked really nice, nice bathroom. Safe storage for my bike, very helpful owner of the accommodation property.
Cons: Terrible beds, had no sleep at all, when any truck passing the building, the bed was shaking. Room really extremely noisy. Restaurant was closed in the evening when I arrived, had no chance to buy any food at all. Lady in the closed restaurant was interested in chatting with her guest mainly, I had the feeling I was bothering her with my questions, the same about the guy I met when arrived.
Pros: The staff was very friendly, accomodation was clean and breakfast very good. Many thanks
Cons: This was very grim. Dirty paint on walls of room. Broken Shower. Very uncomfortable beds with lumpy pillows and well washed worn out linen. Bare mattress at base of bed. It's a long time since I stayed anywhere this grim. Didn't eat at restaurant as menu was in czech and nobody could translate.
