Close to the motorway. Good access and close to the venue we were attending. Limited cafe service on Sunday evening. No milk or functioning computer at reception on Monday morning. No mini bar.
It was easy to locate and very pleasant experience to arrive at. Reception staff were very pleasant and efficient.
the hotel was clean and tidy and staff pleasant the decor of the rooms and the noise level from the other room
It was clean and quiet. Parking was good and in a good location for those travelling down the motorway to the coast. We booked a triple room with cot and when we got there only a double was available. The girl however tried really hard and sorted us an extra bed and cot to go in the room. Although it was quiet cramped with all that in, and we were charged for a triple. Also the breakfast was justed ordered at the bar, probably wouldn't bother with it.
Staff very polite room good no complaints at all
Excellent facilites & standard Use of public car park some distance away
The breakfast was a bit poor, 10 people has to sit together at the same table...
For a very reasonable price, we got a junior suite with high ceilings, air conditioning, and a comfortable, king-size bed, with street parking just outside the hotel. After a two-week vacation, it was lovely to stay in such a soothing place on our last day, with such easy access to the airport (10 minutes' drive away.) The cantina served us delicious free tapas with our wine as well. No matter how long we let the water run, we couldn't get anything hot to come out of the tap!
Casa del Trigo is a nice place to stay in Santa Fe when you have an early flight from Granada. It's in the center of town, so it's easy enough to see all that Santa Fe has to offer. It's not a lot, but there is a SuperSol just across the street.
Convenience for Airport
Clean and modern room is offered with a reasonable price. There is a free parking space nearby. We ordered quadruple room, but in deed it was a twin room with four beds. There is no extra space - it was impossible even to open the closet door. Quality of the breakfast was not very good.
the room and flexibility of the ownders It looked unwelcoming because it was the heat of the day and eveything was closed up and the front door curtained across to keep out the sun. Perfectly acceptable but no a good first impression.
Staff were friendly, room was clean & comfortable Would have been nice to have tea & coffee making facilities in the room
the owner was espcially nice and did a special breakfast ( due to dietary need) and called me a taxi to go to the airport. I had assumed , as it was near the airport , there would be many taxis.. which there were not . So if you stay there because you need to be near the airport, they need to book a taxi for you. Not easy to find.. no signs , had to stop and ask at a local bar, as the village was dark and on an road , not well lit/signed.
Authentic spanish residence There was no bar or restaurant. Also there was no breakfast available.
Really helpful friendly staff. Good value basic breakfast, just what we needed. We'd strongly recommend this hotel.
Ideal overnight stop whilst driving down through Spain from Santander. The hotel was very quiet as we arrived very late Sept. so the restaurant was closed. However there was a fuel station right nextdoor with a bar and restaurant and we had a really good meal there.Perfectly adequate for our needs.
Staff friendly, realxed atmosphere, clean rooms, reasonably priced good food.
it is a litte too far from the city
ease of access from motorway system
Easy access to where we were going for the stay Restaurant was advertised - closed during our stay with no where else local to eat
pleasant staff / access to road network / views of sierra nevada
went to see Roger Waters in concert very good for a couple of night stay
It's location and that it is a modern hotel at a good price. As with many Spanish businesses you have to be aware that the bar/cafe area has no separate "no smoking" area. So can be uncomfortable if you are averse to cigarette smoke.
Perfect for airport overnight and access could not be easier. Clean, bright and smart and wonderful value. No restaurants nearby.
The restaurant was closed during our stay and because we had booked half board we were forced to eat in the cafeteria. The food was frankly quite awful and the atmosphere was smoky. For instance, breakfast was coffee, juice, bread, butter and jam! Also, the driving directions were incorrect, coming off the last roundabout the hotel is on the right, not on the left.
Evening meal was very good and service was fine.Room was clean and comfortable.Restaurant was quite impressive. A bit difficult to find because it is on the slip road back on to the motorway. The main complaint was the couldnt care less attidude of the staff about giving us breakfast. No suggestions most unhelpful, ended up eating a croissant from a plastic packet from the bar with a cup of camomile tea.Not the best start for the day.
Friendly staff, clean and well mantained. It´s a good alternative when everything else is fully booked in Granada, provided you have a car. BTW, don't drink and drive (difficult in Granada!), because there are police drinking checks. It is located at 5km from the city, 11km from downtown. Therefore if you are looking for something in Granada the location is only good when everything else is fully booked. It´s just 10 minutes away by car, just at the exit 118, so very convenient anyways.
great price, easy to find, close to the city if you have a car narrow room, noisy water closet (when filling the water tank)
It's an excellent value-for-money accommodation. The hotel and the restaurant is a family business, they are very friendly (despite of the fact that they hardly speak English). The restaurant itself is also a good value-for-money place. We have dinner there 3 times - it's much better than in Granada for 25£ per person. The location is very convenient if you are on your own car to visit Sierra Nevada or such a nice place as Ronda or Nerja (all are fantastic one-day trips). Public bus to Granada is also good to use (if you know the time-table) Everything is good, especially given the price is very modest. It might be a little bit noisy if the locals celebrate something in the restaurant (however, it's nice to feel a local atmosphere). The main advice - learn basic Spanish - otherwise, it might be difficult to fulfill your expectation (e.g., to eat what you want).
to much noise in the corridor
This was a typical small village Hotel, Rooms a little small, but clean and adequate.A Party in the restaraunt (Christening) all afternoon, meant that we could not get a meal,so had to go out.Ideal for an overnight stop to visit Granada, with out the Crowds. Beautiful views of the snow covered Sierras' Traffic noise from an ill fitting gully outside the hotel was annoying.was reported to staff, but will any thing get done about it!!?they did not appear suprised.
Due to a function it was quite noisy until the early hours of the morning.
Clean room. Free parking on the street. Our room was small. The bed was very narrow and its legs were very unstable, so the bed was shaky for all the movements. The mattress was uncomfortable. We spent 2 nigths: on the first night we slept badly, on the second one we pulled out the additional mattress from underneath the bed and we slept better.
The breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly. The room was clean. quite noisy.
Very convenient for Granada airport. Clean, basic hotel ideal for overnight stop to break journey.
We had not booked a hotel for 1 night, and they were booked up, got into this one luckily, but the first room had dirty used bedlinen, so changed rooms, it was clean, we slept and it was reasonably quiet. Breakfast was better than expected, and it was quite cheap..... All happy! Bedlinen in the room had been slept in, but we changed rooms.
Clean, attentive to the guests, very good breakfasts.
It was a stopover for us before we continued our journey to Portugal. The noise above our room from the kitchen staff.
The hotel was clean and reasonably priced and in close proximity to Granada Airport for an early morning flight the next day but also close enough to Granada Centro to spend a few hours sightseeing. Ideal for a one night stay.
Such a good price, we stayed two nights. Friendly staff. Family owned and operated. The first good sleep we had in 4 nights. Definitely check them out if you have a car and don't want to sleep in noisy city hostals.
