Cons:

I made the reservation one month ahead of the trip, received my confirmation number and some remainder the day before my flight. Pick up time was 11 pm but when I arrived at 11:20 pm they were closed. The explanation I got 2 days later was : We close at 11 pm but our website needs to be updated.

Rented car was at least 10 years old. Full of scratches everywhere. Had 100,000 km or roughly 65,000 miles on the odometer. Sixt does not have a counter in the airport. You need to call them. Pick up service from the airport was OK Although the transport vehicle was I think 15 year old van that was scratched up and dented. And returning the vehicle it’s almost impossible because no signs are posted anywhere for returning vehicles. Awful experience. Nobody speaks English.

Never got a car and need to get a full refund back. I was told that because I booked on a different platform not belonging to Alamo. My car was not reserved. And they had no alternative cars for me!!

Drop off was easy but pick up was awful.

Cons:

They lied on pickup that having rental cars insured was a law when I asked not to get insurance. They said they would not give me the car without insurance. So I paid more than the original amount.

Nobody was at the counter to direct anything nor did anyone pick up when the airport information desk called the agency. Needed to rent with someone else. Unbelievably poor service

Pros:

They were helpful when explaining the fees.

Cons:

The Insurance turned out to be triple what the car cost. And I had already purchased the $10 protection. If I did not purchase the insurance, the company was going to open a credit card voucher for the total cost of the car - about $35,000.That seemed risky too.

Pros:

The staff was not helpful at all with my experience. The clerk at the counter refused my reservation because he claimed the system read my licence to be less than one year old and when I explained here it was a renewed licence he just said there was nothing he could do. When I explained to him I had just rented a car in the US with national and that I am 40yo, that in Canada licence are renewed periodically he just refused to do something to help on the situation. Then I requested him to use his land-phone to call anyone in Avis Corp to help he simply refused. When I asked to talk to his supervisor he refused and proceed to cancel my reservation.

Cons:

Train the Clark to help the customer. Make modifications to the Avis rental system to understand what a renewed licence is

This was the worst experience I have had renting a vehicle. Staff was good, but they didnt have the vehicle ready, then they gave one were the vehicle was falling apart and dangerous to drive. (I have pictures) still waiting on them to refund me the money on my credit card. It was super disappointing

We ended up not renting a car due to the deposit amonut.

Cons:

The agent was not clear that they would be holding a $3000 US depost on my credit card on top of the rental car fee. After charging the fee he ran my card again and it declined. We understood it would be 3000 pesos, so we were confident it would be approved. Due to them being unclear, we told them to cancel all transactions. They said they did but a $2900 hold remained on my credit card. For my whole trip in Mexico my only credit card was maxed out and I couldn’t use it for anything. This was my first time out of the US and purposely brought my credit card for emergencies, as of today the charge is still showing as pending.

The location was not at the airport as stated in the confirmation. I got there and asked around and only two others were there but not budget. When I called support while I was looking for the place, I couldn't speak to anyone as some sort of password was needed (the call would auto drop)

When I went to pickup my car, I had to wait ~1 hour to speak with someone at the desk. The agent I spoke to at the desk lied to me and said that I cannot use my personal auto insurance and had to use their plan. I call their corporate number later and the confirmed that agent was incorrect and refunded my money spent on the insurance. The car they had reserved for me was stuck behind several cars on the lot and inaccessible. Because of this they tried to give me another vehicle in the same class. The replacement they picked had visible damage/dent to the multiple panels, doors, and bumper. I started documenting all the damage in detail and taking pictures, the agent started getting visibly annoyed. He ended up providing me with a different car in the end. When I came time to drop off the vehicle, the lot nearly full and there was a line extending into the street just to enter the lot. I'm still waiting to deposit to be returned and I anticipating that I will need to call their corporate office again. This was an extremely poor experience through and through. I will never rent from Mexrentacar ever again, and I will never recommend their services to anyone.

A representative never showed up at the airport to meet me, they never tried to contact me to say there was an issue, and the phone number given never worked. I called 24 times throughout the day. I ended up renting from Europcar at the counter for three times the price. I think it's a SCAM. I was in Vienna.

I couldn’t find the location and no shuttle to the location of the car. The website description makes it seem as though it’s the airport area. It is not. Tried to call the facility but no answer. Ended up getting a rental from hertz which provides transportation to car rental area. DONT PURCHASE FROM THIS VENDER.

We had to call from the airport twice to get a pickup to the rental location which was 10 minute ride . Once there we found out that they did not recognize our insurance and I had to pay $260 for insurance . This now made my rental car more expensive than what was at the airports . Drop off went smooth , but we were dropped off at the rental location other than airport drop off for the airport .

Very bad. We paid by card $14 for two days, but when we went to get the car they ask us to pay 7 times this price plus $150 as a deposit. Why not to tell us the truth from the beginning, so we know the exact price. I am asking for paying me back the $14.
