The door locked... To keep out the homeless and drug dealers. Boogers and blood on the sheets and comferter. Room wasnt very clean. Matress was horrible. Could have spent $20 more on a half decent place. Tom Bodett wouldnt even stay here. Seemed like 3/4 of the rooms had people living in them longterm.
I like how big the bathroom was. It was a modern bathroom There was evidence of someone smoking inside the room
A lot of crime in the area... Woken up by sirens and flashing lights in the parking lot two times during my stay.
Comfortable only thing is a lot if random people walking around but it that's everywhere I guess. Everything is close by! ,Comfortable only thing is a lot if random people walking around but it that's everywhere I guess. Everything is close by! Luckily, I got a handicapped room which meant the bathroom was huge (the size of the room) and looked brand new BUT. that's where the pros end. The room reeked of cigarettes and gave me a cough the next day, everyone is incredibly loud and have no respect for people sleeping, there was a loud squeaky bed above me that wouldn't let me sleep, and this is the 2nd room we moved to. The first one: the ac didn't work and the door lock was broke. Oh and someone relieved themselves in the toilet and didn't flush. I would spend an extra $25 and stay somewhere much better
We arrived at 330 to check in. The front desk staff was extremely rude. We were told, after waiting in line for 20 minutes, that our room would be another hour. We had 2 dogs with us that had been in the car since 6am. We were there for a hospital appt. So, an hour came and went and we got no call that our room was ready. Finally, around 5, we stopped back at the front desk and were given a key. The room was dirty, small and smelled like smoke, There were drug deals going on on the corner. This was a horrible experience.
I didn't spend 50 on a hotel expecting much, and didn't get much so all is well!
nothing PROSTITUTES. witnessed pimp pick one up in short time i was getting luggage. Took wrong turn initially and there was a cop posted behind the walmart next to the motel, ARMED WITH SHOTGUN. quickly turned around and got to our hotel only to witness a pimp picking up a prostitute (she was yelling to men from a motel room she came out of telling them next time she wanted a skirt?) quickly went inside, only to then witness a cop badger my boyfriend who was grabbing his socks from the car. He made it inside safe when 30 minutes later a person right under our room had gotten arrested, for what I could only assume from peeking out my window and watching the interaction as tweaking out on something. Got out alive and very thankful for the low crime rate of small town Des Moines. True story, will verify if needed.
Staff were helpful when we needed a non-smoking room, we were efficiently given a new room. Empathetic staff. The bugs (roach and a beetle). Cigarette butt on the floor. Tiny space.
Basically everything!! Loved it! We all decided that we'd come back to this hotel next time we stop in Colorado! The water pressure from the shower head.
The location was great for getting out and exploring the nearby parts of Colorado. I think it will get even better when the G line light rail system starts up. There's also pretty good food around the area and a Super Target too.
It is right off I-70 making it easy to continue on your way. I booked it because it was cheap and available that morning. You can hear outside. The parking is dimly lit. Could barely tell the difference between the white chocolate bar on the sink and the soap in the shower. Both were a little bitter and wrapped the same. On second thought, I think they were both soap.
This hotel is pretty convenient to Red Rocks and pretty close to other places in the Denver area we like to go to. Where to start - this was our third hotel stay here in the past 4 years and the first two times were pretty positive experiences - comfortable room, nice breakfast, convenient, reasonably priced. To be fair, we did not see the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Otherwise, the price hasn't really changed - otherwise, everything else seems to have gotten worse. Worst of all, the mattress had a giant sag in one part - I basically had to put a pillow to try to balance it out. There were cracks in the bathroom. After arriving at 245 pm (3 pm check-in time), we were told nothing would be ready for about an hour. Sorry to see a good place has gotten worse. Unfortunately for Quality Inn's sake, now that their reputation has been damaged, there are many options in Denver before I am likely to try them again.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't actively inspect, but the room seemed clean. There was a drier outside the front entrance waiting for removal for at least two days making the motel appear run down. Likewise the dumpster visible from the backside rooms detracted from the appearance of the motel. Although there are restaurants and strip malls nearby, there isn't much to do. It's more of a place for getting off the highway for the night. Neighboring motels had neater outside appearance.
• Great location if you want to be close to Denver, but not actually stay in Denver. • Easy access to several major Highways • Close to shopping and several restaurants • Clean and Comfortable room • Large, clean and Comfy beds • Very clean bathrooms • Nice hot breakfast spread every morning • Quiet • Pet and family friendly • Friendly and helpful staff Overall we had an excellent experience and would stay here anytime we are visiting Denver. There wasn't enough parking. We had to park next door at a different hotel one night that we stayed out late.
Many helpful staff Marcus was awesome Many things were slightly broken like the elevator washer and sink in our room
Liked nothing it was horrible I reserved a King non smoking and got a queen smoking. Dirty, greasy floors. No refund because I booked through here. No extra pillows and bed caved in so slept maybe two or three hours total. Ac would not stay on for black noise and fan was not sufficient for keeping room cool so got up k nimum five times to switch that over. Lobby and people outside scary. Reeked like marijuana and cigarette smoke. Never again
Staff was very helpful Just that the building was old and could be updated and the pool was dirty. I agree that people hanging around outside is a little unnerving.
Nothing Fancy, but clean and quiet with a polite staff. a Great place to rest your head for a reasonable cost. Recommend ed
