The View of the bay was amazing!
Walking distance to restaurants even it was uphill. Great place to stay.
Fantastic host and rooms.
The room had a wonderful view of the Bay. Although the Bar t Nique was a bit away from the downtown, there was a shuttle bus available to take residents to any of the downtown restaurants, bars, etc. An outstanding feature.
Very Nice Location with good service friendly staff would recomend
Brilliant staff and service. Personal attention and VIP treatment from arrival to departure. Stunning views from the room. Will definately return and recommend.
The friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the excellent resturant. Also the central location in Mossel Bay with easy access to all roads leading to the Garden Route or Cape Town. Not applicable
Modern, very clean rooms. Nice restaurant on site. Beautiful location--wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy it more. Pool area looked nice but didn't have a chance to try it out. Nice toiletries in the bathrooms (especially the body lotion!). Took a little while to check in. There was some sort of mix-up with the reservation due to the third-party site (getaroom.com) that booked the stay. I felt hotel staff wasn't as courteous/friendly as they could have been during this time, but it was fine in the end.
Goood location for stopover on Garden Route with convenience of excellent restauarant facilities.
Home from home no
Staff are well trained. They went the extra mile to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Security shows some weakness.
1. The warm welcome and the sign welcoming me back again. It impressed my wife that they took the trouble to check if I had stayed there before. The backbone of the hotel is their staff - they are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home(this comes from my wife staying here for the first time especially after a bad experience in Maseru last month) I always stay at this hotel when on a business trip to the Southern Cape and would recommend it as a place to stay to anyone. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it for another night and only checked out on Monday the 10/05 N/A
Petra, our host, was a lovely lady. The house was so airy & fresh. Rooms were lovely but most all, the breakfasts were beautiful and you couldnt ask for more from a guest house!
The owner extended a very warm welcome; gave helpful recommendations and advice on the local area. Immaculate house which is located some way up a hill from the town - giving beautiful views from the breakfast balcony.
The attention to detail is unserpassed. The breakfast was a work of art.I can thoroughly recommend this guest house.
Petra, our host greeted us with a glass of wine, cheese ank bickies, so lovely. The rooms were luxurious and provided every comfort. Our breakfast was better than excellent and Petra's hospitality was warm and sincere. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. Not a thing.....
Excellent service directly by the owner, very attentive helpfull, wounderfull service.
Fantastic warm welcome and service from the owner and staff. Very comfortable, clean room and a tasty breakfast!
Our host was extremely friendly, helpful and considerate. The accommodation was excellent with fantastic views of the sea (and whales in the appropriate season). It was close to a very good golf course and the staff there gave tourists a warm welcome. Just as a warning to others, it is a very steep walk up from the town!
Very friendly hostess, great attention to every detail. Breakfast prepared with care. Stunning views. Thank you!
The staff were exceptionally friendly , the breakfast was presented and tasted lovely , while the room was very comfortable and very clean. great value for money
A very comfortable stopover between Nysna and Swellendam. The rooms were beautifully clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a work of art - with a display of fresh fruit that was so beautifully prepared that it seemed a shame to eat it, followed by a wonderful cooked breakfast. We were disappointed that there was no pool as both Booking.com and the guesthouse website said that there was.........
An excellent sea experience / surprise in the heart of the garden route .It almost felt like an adventure and the best me and my wife reacted to the occasion .
hotel nothing special , a bit tatty really . friends had the upper floors with great views but i was on the lower floor with a 10 foot high wall of rock to look at !! never 4 star and view pathetic on lower floors
the friendly staff
The helpfulness of staff memebers
The view from the room was awesome. nothing
We had a nice relaxing stay. The location was peaceful and picturesque. Our breakfast was tasteful and carefully prepared. We had a difficult time finding the building because there was no name on the building and difficult to find at night. We would stay again and reccommend it to others. It was a peacefull little setting but birds were allowed to fly into the eating area and there was bird poop on some of the tables and chairs in the dinning room.
Great room, great view and great breakfast with staff that actually think!
A comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and good views
Please write at least 15 words dirty, very unfriendly, nothing really works
Hotel needs some maintenance but in general very nice. Good value for money. Breakfast could have been with more variety.
Nice room & facilities, friendly staff. Lot of stairs & no elevator, small parking which was full (had to block other cars).
facilities good, exceptional view, pleasant veranda a lot of stairs, not good for disabled
Booked two rooms. One room had good sea view and spacious. Other room not so good and had cockroaches! Good breakfast. Booked two rooms - one was ok. Other was lacking toilet paper & beverages so had to ask.
We had a large room with balcony and fantastic view over the sea and part of the city. It is quite a small hotel but very nice. Friendly staff. The pool and SPA were out of order. The breakfast was OK but not Super.
