Pros: This is a nice hotel but far from everything. The building is well built and floors are quiet. Unlike other hotels like the Holiday Inn Express you could not hear anything in the room. Many of these other hotels, you could hear the thumping from others walking in the hallway, the rooms next door or above. Not at the Hyatt Place.
They had a bar downstairs which was very convenient. And, we ordered a small pizza and desert...both were good.
I also liked that there was a comfy sectional in the room and the tv on the wall could be turned to the sofa area or the bed.
Cons: The room could have been cleaner. The sink in the wet bar area was dirty and the shower area could have been cleaned better.
Pros: Extremely cordial staff, met every need, extremely clean, quiet, loved that there were apples availables as a quick snack on the way out the door
Pros: It had a bar downstairs and an interesting layout.
Cons: Not as close to Nashville as I would have liked and the room was very damp (our bathing suits never dried).
Our guests enjoy a spacious guestroom with a 42 inch high-definition flat panel TV, our signature Hyatt Grand Bed, a plush Cozy Corner oversized sofa sleeper that is separated from the sleeping area, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi internet access throughout the hotel. Complimentary Gallery Kitchen Breakfast, featuring customized breakfast bowls and yogurt parfaits with an assortment of juices, milk, and Seattle's Best Coffee, available daily.
Pros: I have stayed at several Hampton Inns prior, all with good experiences. Perhaps it was the southern hospitality that put Hampton Inn Gallatin far above the others. Whatever it was it was very appreciated and an enjoyable stay.
Cons: Only negative experience would be when I was walking down to check-out, the housekeeping manager I assume, was talking with her staff for a morning report and I was taken a back by her demeaning tone with her staff in a public space.
Pros: Convenient location, excellent customer service, clean room, great coffee and breakfast
Cons: Bed was not very comfortable -- like, was one of the least comfortable beds we have ever slept in at a hotel. Very disappointing for our one night away from toddlers and a chance for a quiet, long night of sleep!
Pros: Very clean, well staffed hotel. Have stayed before and will again.
Pros: The staff, everyone, was kind, friendly, and helpful.
Cons: Couldn't stay long :)
Front desk staff was very nice.
Pros: I liked having a sofa in the room so that I could relax while watching television.
Pros: Wonderful coffee in the room. Best coffee I've Ever had in any hotel in all my travels! Very friendly staff and food was Great ! We will be back.

This beautifully designed hotel features a pilaster/pediment exterior, reminiscent of historic buildings of the past century. We love having you here in Tennessee at the Hampton Inn Gallatin!
Cons: I arrived to my room and the door was ajar with the security bolt out. The heat was at max and a strong odor was in the room. I reduced heat to AC mode and went to dinner in Brentwood. I returned to my room and the chemical odor from them cleaning the carpet sent my allergies into orbit. I was sick even when transferd to another room. I checked out a day early to get free of that place. Shame on them! The intentionally assigned that room to a customer knowing the carpet fumes were bad
Pros: Clean and well appointed.
Cons: WiFi was undependable and staff untrained to handle that.

Pros: Great customer service. Excellent French Toast on Sour Dough!
Pros: Great Hotel and don't forget to go to nearby Chef's Kitchen for some stellar food
Cons: Internet speed wasn't great and for 2 days access to basic sites, to include Marriott.com weren't accessible.
Water heaters were replaced which isn't bad but they amount of sludge and icky stuff that had to be discharged from room sink and bathtub/shower was gross. It would have been nice for the staff to run flush the water in each room while guests were out.
Pros: Comfort, staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Loved the showerhead
Cons: Can't say anything negative.
Pros: The staff. Very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Guests staying near me were loud late at night
Pros: Thde place was good nice staff, easy to find, great pool and nice lobby. The only problem was it was not clean as it should have been. There was thick dust on the end tables showing it had not even been wipped off in a long while,
Cons: I think the price of breakfast was crazy as so many hotels offer the same stuff for free
Pros: Big rooms
Cons: Uncomfortable beds, paper thin walls, bad location

Pros: Pool area was nice as was the fitness area. The location was excellent. Breakfast was also really good.
Cons: The shower had a lot of stains in it, as well as mildew. The walls of the room also had a ton of stains on it. I feel it could have definitely used some remodeling.
Pros: Cllean, quiet, and friendly. Pool and hot tub were inviting and fun. Breakfast was very good as well. Lots of different options to choose from.
Pros: The cleanliness! I don't think the cleaning crew get enough praise, but this crew was flawless! Immaculate!!
Cons: Non-stop slamming of doors at 7am, but that's the rude guests, not the hotels fault.
Pros: Favorite hotel we have stayed at on our road trips to florida from Minnesota. Clean well kept property. Great beds. Warm pool.
Cons: The hot tub was weird. No jets just bubbles that basically splash you in the face when you are sitting in the hot tub.
Pros: My second time staying here in the past two weeks The staff was nice and professional. Check in was timely and efficient, as was check out. The breakfast was great and the eating area well maintained. The room was spacious enough and clean.
Cons: Entrance driveway is a bit step and car bumper scrapes.....maybe a sign warning of such would be in order.
Pros: this is a very nice hotel. It is located right on the interstate. Our room was very clean, and handicapped accessible as we requested. The beds were also comfortable. Each bed had four pillows which is what a like. The elevator well hardly any wait
Cons: Being on the interstate there is some noise from passing trucks, we were on the front of the Building facing the road, The noise was loud at first but I quickly acclimated. I was aware that the distance was far from downtown
Pros: front desk staff and room staff were very helpful and nice
Cons: parking lot entrance a little too steep....front of car scrapes
Pros: The staff hotel employee he was very helpful...cleaning staff was polite. Love the beds....thank you.
Cons: Only thing was busy on Saturday need two workers.
Pros: It was clean and beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The pillows were lumpy.
Pros: The staff was excellent; very accommodating to our needs!!!

Pros: Everything! ! Hotel is much much better than the Holiday Inn in the same town. I will stay here from now on when I come into town. You've got my business.
Cons: Noisy occupants in the hallway.. but the hotel has no control over that. Some parents just don't teach their teenage children respect.
Pros: Very easy to get to off interstate. Nice rooms. Big bathrooms.
Cons: There was no hot water and the staff did nothing about it and did not offer a discount or money off. We could not take showers...

Pros: We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but when we were there everything was nice. The staff was friendly, the room was typical for a Hampton, and the food was good.
Cons: The outside of the hotel looks kind of shabby, but the inside makes up for that.
Pros: Staff is very helpful and courteous
Cons: Clean but not immaculate
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was good (waffles with berries or chocolate chips as an option, eggs, bacon/sausage, oatmeal with berries or brown sugar as an option, Danishes, bagels, toast, mixed seasonal fruit, yogurt, multiple cereals...the list goes on and on. The desk staff was very attentive and always smiling. It was an awesome time overall!!!
Cons: The only thing that bothered us upon arrival was that the pool was closed for maintenance because of the ph levels. The lady at the front desk told us that the hotel across the road was letting us use theirs. We were disappointed about having to share a pool with 2 hotels' worth of guests, but it was WONDERFUL!!! We even had it to ourselves for a while and only shared with one other family the rest of the time. The pool at our hotel was back up and running before breakfast the next morning. We really appreciated the lady at the front desk going out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay!!! It was awesome!!!
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. People at desk did what they could to answer all questions and give directions. Hotel is clean and in a good location for our trip to see Nashville
Cons: Original reservation was lost. Reserved two king rooms, only one was available. Other couple received a double room on first night. That room had a clogged bathtub. They got the king room the following day. Not a good start but ended ok. They were comped the first night for the inconvenience
Pros: We enjoyed our stay. My husband and I just wanted to take a small trip to Nashville. This hotel was nice bc it was only about 20min away from the city and not a bad price for 3 nights. (Around $330) The staff was very friendly and our room was always clean when we returned. The breakfast is better than any hotel breakfast I have previously had. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel is pretty basic but if that is what you are looking for it is the perfect place to stay. We have no complaints and when we travel we typically try to stay at a Hampton Inn bc they are pretty consistent.
Pros: Everything was surprisingly great. Not spectacular but was more than I expected given the bargain.
Cons: I asked the front desk to call me a cab to pick me up at 6. They did and the person came on time and when I walked out to get in I told the woman hello and she rudely said hold on and walked right past me into the lobby to go talk to the front desk person. She came back out and seemed annoyed that it was just me needing the car. (I also noticed right away that she didn't have any sort of taxi light or information in her car which makes me think this was just a friend of the front desk guy).
I told her where I wanted to go and she seemed annoyed that I wasn't going to the popular Nashville strip and told me it would be $35. I then told her I only had a card and she tried refusing service saying that she didn't have her card reader with her. I told her I only had a card and she tried saying she would take me to an ATM. I said no and she looked back and said "so what are we going to do?" I replied I was going to have to call another cab company and she magically remembered that there was another way to take a card and we finally got on our way.
What should've been a 20 minute drive turned into 45 minutes with someone calling her phone off the hook so she kept missing turns from the GPS and took me through the shadiest part of Nashville. When we finally reached the address she pointed to a building and said that was where I needed to go. I paid her and she left and I noticed the number on the building was incorrect. I pulled out my phone and looked up where the place was and she had dropped me off 1.4 miles away from my destination! As a female traveling alone for work in an unfamiliar city I was scared and uncomfortable and couldn't call the cab place back because the hotel had called them for me and I didn't know the number.
When my husband called the hotel to explain what had happened they were completely unsympathetic and said I needed to just call the cab company and complain to them.
This place is in the middle of nowhere and the staff do not care about putting you in dangerous situations.
Cons: Distance to Nashville and difficulty getting to the Hotel off of the expressway
Pros: Everything. Except pillows
Cons: The pillows way too soft stayed at other hamptoms had a variety of pillows on each bed

Pros: During check in I asked what it would cost to upgrade to an available King room as I had booked a room with Queen sized beds. They had only an executive suite available, but still upgraded my stay at no cost!:) The staff was extremely friendly, and the free breakfast in the morning was quite good.
Pros: Front desk staff were very kind.
Cons: No heat in the room for 2 nights.
Damaged and unclean carpet.
Dogs barking day and night, and jumping all over us in the hallway and elevator.
No chair other than desk chair and it is broken.
We are getting a new La Quinta here in our city. I hope it is better than what we experienced. It will be hard for me to recommend it.
Cons: Can hear I-24 all of the time.

Cons: 2 of our pillows had a horrible chemical/body odor type smell to them. We called the front desk and the front desk said they would be switched out while we were gone out for the night. When we returned the pillows were still in our room, we called the front desk back and they were finally switched out.
We have stay in this hotel before and never had an issue.
While eating breakfast the ladies cleaning/putting out the food were nice to guests but just talked super loud and the room kind of echoed, making it hard to hear the person you were having a conversation with at your table at times.

Pros: After getting caught in a two hour traffic jam it was great having a room with all the amenities . It was in an ideal spot having to share only one common wall which lent to a quiet night. The location was the only blemish on a great night.
Pros: Great hotel

Pros: The front desk staff was excellent. We needed a 'crib' for our son and they provided a pack-n-play. Also, on Sunday, when we went down for breakfast, the staff was very helpful. They provided a booster seat for my son and even cleared our plates.
Pros: Definitely the free breakfast....so yummy
Cons: The guy at the front desk was rude and ran my card incorrectly but the manager corrected everything so I have no complaints
Pros: Convient to interstate 24. Nice pool and hot tub.
Cons: No treatment of ice in front and parking area.
Pros: The place had been recently renovated and the place was very quiet.
Cons: The lady at the front desk was rude, was unwilling to let us have a king room even though there were very few guests and then we had to share our room with ants.
Pros: The Breakfast was Amazing best Hotel Breakfast I ever had.
Cons: I killed 4 Stink Bugs in my room in one night. It throw my sleep off The room was great besides the bugs.
Pool was small, but was the appropriate temperature and great for the kids
Pros: Good customer service at check in
Pros: arrived late at night and the front desk welcomed us with a smile
Cons: Not a thing
Good free breakfast.
Pros: The room was great! Lots of room. Comfy bed.
Cons: The bathtub was a little dirty.
The night before and it had to remain closed for 24 hours. When we got back to the hotel the following day, the pool was still closed. The person at the front desk didn't know the pool was closed. When I told him what the guy had said the night before, he took the sign down without checking with anyone. Seemed strange to me. Also, the area being renovated was the breakfast area. They had set up the interim breakfast area in2 adjoining rooms. The sign near the lobby had a narrow pointing down the hall. There were no signs indicating where the breakfast was. Almost everyone passed it up before they found it. A simple sign covering the room numbers would have made a huge difference. The hotel did not seem to be managed well. It seemed like there were a few simple things they could have done to make things easier for their guests but didn't seem to even think about it. The lady at the desk did give me a discount because of the ants. I didn't say anything about it during the stay because I had my Grandkids with me and I didn't want them to spray any chemicals while we were there.
Cons: They were renovating in the area next to our room. The hall was congested when we wer leaving. We had small black ants in our room. We booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool. When we got there, there had been an 'incident' with a small child...
Excellent service, great location about 20 minutes to Vanderbilt football stadium. I would stay here again.
Pros: Right off the highway, lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.
Cons: not really
The hotel itself was in pretty good shape. The breakfast was blah. They were out of juice, trashes we're overflowing. The fitness room was great!
Pros: It's proximity to shopping and a variety of restaurants.
Cons: Our bathroom was not very clean and the hotel room was dated. I don't think it needs to be rated 2 1/2 star. It needs to be below that. I wonder if hotels keep certain rooms available for Priceline and the rooms are lower quality? Just a thought.

Pros: Location was good. Good location for smokers
Cons: Room was non smoking room, but there was obviously serious smokers in the room at some point. When I explained this to the front desk, he came to the room and denied smelling smoke/poor air quality. I have allergies and explained that I could not stay in that room because I was just getting over a sinus infection. After deciding to leave the hotel, the front desk attendant offered another room. I'm not sure why he didn't offer that initially. At that point, I had already booked another room at a nonsmoking hotel down the street. The air was so heavy in this particular room that when I walked in the hallway I felt like a bag was removed from my head. I would not recommend staying at this property, not only due to the smoke, but due to customer service. I have no reason to fabricate breathing issues. These people do not care anything about the conditions of their rooms. If you have any issues with smoke, allergies, or if you desire to inhale decent quality air then stay away from this place. No one has money to make unnecessary doctor's appointments due to a smoke filled environment.
Cons: The manager(Linda H.) withheld my receipt upon checkout, saying she had to "check my room".....made negative comments about kids in a large group of respectful black students, and was very and I mean very RUDE and unprofessional to me and other guest. I am a professional and a manager in my field...I have never met a "sales manager" that had absolutely no customer orientation about herself at all...the rooms were not ready, the eggs taste like powder and even the remote control in the rooms looked so nasty and dirty that I simply did not want to touch it!! Pretty bad service and experience....there are several other hotels in that area...I would recommend you try any other than this one!!!! Horrible!!!

Pros: I love the location. The atmosphere and vibe is really great. Pool access is easy as is access to Gallatin/Nashville if I'm looking for adventure. Breakfast is quick and tasty.
Cons: Staff seemed to not realize if rooms are occupied or not. My stay was for 2 days and both days involved explaining that I had everything I needed.
Pros: Customer Service Staff
Cons: Highway noise during the night
Pros: This hotel was close to everything - our destination, restaurants, gas stations, etc. It was also easily found and not far from the interstate!
Cons: Yes. We changed rooms 3 times due to the bathrooms not being cleaned. We found hair on the toilet, bed, and in the shower. In our first room, besides finding all the hair, there was a stain on the shelf in the shower from a bar of soap :(
Pros: Friendly staff and cleanliness
Pros: Room was recently updated with new carpet and mattresses. Price was very good
Pros: The cost. It was right next door to another hotel chain that was charging over $100 more per night.
Cons: Did not care for the outside access to room. The room we had was right across from the pool area. My husband said there was a group of people that hung out by the pool talking and carrying on until way past 2am.
Pros: Location. There was a lot of stuff within walking distance of hotel
Pros: Location was ideal. We enjoyed the pool. Good value. Breakfast was enjoyable.
Cons: We wished there was a microwave in the breakfast room so we could warm the muffin. Coffee was just OK. Some mold on wall above tub enclosure.
Pros: Lots of restaurants within walking distance
Cons: Walls were filthy
Pros: Charming. Wonderful outdoor pool. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Outside doors.
Pros: It was cheap
Cons: Poor experience from start to finish until I complained and received a refund.
