Pros. I was in town for the Kiawah marathon and couldn't afford to stay on the island. The sleep inn was the cheapest hotel I could find that still had good reviews and ratings. I am a clean freak and worry a lot about hotel cleanliness and things like bed bugs, etc. This hotel was nice for the money and I was pleasantly surprised to walk into the rom and see nicely made beds with seemingly new bedspreads. Yes, the hotel is older and there is a bit of an older smell, but I think this is hotel is trying very hard to stay clean. For a family on a budget this was a good place, especially when I worry so much about cleanliness. I would stay there again. The continental breakfast opens a little late for us early risers, but they have several things to choose from . The hotel sits right off highway 17 and is a short drive to downtown Charleston. ... So if you are not interested in paying crazy high prices but want to be near downtown, I highly recommend . If any families are looking for a clean place to stay with decent prices, this is your go to .
