Pros: We stayed for one night (wish we could have stayed for longer!) in the deluxe double room with sea view - and what a lovely view. Hosts were friendly, informative and very interesting to chat to, with an evident love and passion for the Inishowen penninsula. Exceptionally well sign-posted from the ferry terminal at Greencastle and just a couple of minutes drive. Comfy bed, modern room, lovely bathroom - way above the average B & B. The best recommendation was from one of the deckhands on the car ferry as we travelled the following morning . . . he asked where we had been, told him 'On the Rocks B & B' and he replied: "You couldn't have stayed with better people." He was right. Don't think about it, just book it and enjoy!

Pros: You couldn't want a warmer Irish welcome than we had from Nora and Eamonn. We felt at home immediately. We were greeted with tea and cake, and generally grandly looked after. We loved our big bedroom with great views, the terrific breakfast with fresh berries on offer, and the canny chat around the breakfast table with our hosts and other guests, some of whom were returning for the umteenth time.

Pros: We had a wedding at the redcastle which was a 5mins drive to B&B, which was ready handie. The views alone sells it to you. Breakfast was so good it set us up for the day. Definitely will be back hopefully in August for the owners to meet baby Magee. Thanks

Pros: Everything about our stay was wonderful, the room was perfect, views from every window. Breakfast was delicious, and so filling that the next meal we needed to eat was dinner. Also really enjoyed the communal table, felt like eating with family, all of the guests chatted together, excited to share the places they'd visited and encourage others to go there too. Nora and Eamon are wonderful hosts, very special people, who made you feel welcome from the moment you arrived, and you'll feel sad to leave them and their beautiful home. Remember to ask Eamon why his horse Rosie has trouble getting her teeth checked by the vet? Maybe it's because they refuse to look a gift horse in the mouth, I'm pretty sure he'll have a little chuckle at that one.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed the quietness of the accommodation and the central location to travel around the innishowen peninsula. The hosts were lovely and very attentive to the detail of the room requirements. Breakfast was amazing Even though food is not usually on the menu every weeknight I was told it would be served if I needed a meal as they would not see anyone go hungry. The weekend menu was beautiful well presented and plenty to choose from. Highly recommended for solo female travellers felt very safe and a real homely atmosphere. Live Music is on Saturday evening and not on Friday as on the website but plenty of lovely music playing in the background and locals in for a drink were very welcoming.
Cons: The only thing I would suggest is a chair in the room if reading or watching TV. and mattress protector that did not have a waterproof backing as it rustled every time I moved. but big comfy bed.
