Pros (+) small concrete block motel right on the beach, very clean, friendly staff, reasonable price, nice pool, close to everything
Cons (-) tile floors were cold - no rugs/carpet in the room (but understandable given the amt of sand that must get tracked through there)
Pros (+) We were on the top floor with an ocean front room. Loved just opening the door and listening to the surf. Loved watching the sun rise over the ocean from our balcony. Congregation of people on the beach outside motel was minimal compared to hotels further down the beach. Had 5 chairs in room so plenty of space to relax when indoors. Had nice chairs on the balcony and not just cheap plastic chairs....
Cons (-) Some people had a barking dog that yelped every time we walked down the stairs. Beds were a little stiff but we had a 2" memory foam pad we brought that made it a non-issue for us. No restaurant or room service but those are usually overpriced anyway.
