Pros: Loved all of our hosts who cared with every detail for us. Welcomed with a delicious glass or two of wine produced on the estate. Luxurious rooms all with balconies and views of the pool, vines and hens. Lovely rural area with restaurants in close proximity. A lot of helpful local advice on which wineries to visit and restaurants to enjoy A charming visit to one of Chile's key wine areas with world class wine to enjoy
Cons: The charge for the hot tub use on our balcony not being included in the price. Would be better to include the cost at the beginning....as the total of the two would still be good value

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nothing to fault
Cons: The staff are so helpful happy and oblidging
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service, rooms, wine, breakfast, etc., the personal service by Felipe (owner), the house wine, etc., etc.,
Cons: Not Applicable, we liked everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is not too far from santa Cruz, a short Uber ride away or a good walk. The hotel itself is very picturesque, and you can see they take pride in their work. The breakfast buffet is great, with fresh juice, fruit, yogurts, selection of cold meats and cheese, and bread and eggs. There is a bar if you haven't already drank enough wine at the surrounding vineyards! They are hoping to open their new deluxe rooms shortly, which have sunken outdoor baths overlooking the vineyard and the pool area. There is also a hot tub there (it was closed unfortunately during our stay). The standard rooms themselves in the main house are a good size, and either overlook the front of the house or the back. You are provided with robes and slippers and towels for the pool for when it is open which I thought was a really nice touch. The owner was present throughout our stay and was very friendly and helpful. I wish them all the success with their new enterprise with the new modern wing. I would definitely recommend this as a place to base yourselves for the wine tasting country that surrounds you.
Cons: The only thing (and this is nit-picking) I can say is that the shower could do with a better screen as the bathroom floor gets a good soaking with every shower!
6.3 Good
Pros: The people in the hotel was very nice and kind. They offered us everything we needed
Cons: . The facilities did not match our expectations. The room was cold and heating didn’t work very good (actually had an anoing sound) the door dinner closed correctly and the bathroom had spider nets up un the filling.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel! The owner Felipe received us very well, and the whole hotel is very cozy. They are also super helpful guiding you around the town, finding transportation to the wineries and all. We were in the suite and the room was huge, with a really comfortable and large bed and bathrobes available. Breakfast was exceptional! Maria da Paz makes excellent eggs and juices and everything was delicious. They are currently expanding the hotel and building new rooms, and she also took us to see them and they are marvelous! We can't wait to be back!
Cons: Nothing! Unfortunately, we couldn't stay longer than two days to enjoy more of the hotel, but we will certainly be back in the near future.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was always available for questions and was very helpful. The breakfast was simple, but of good quality. Having cereal, fruits, meats, cheeses, and eggs to choose from, everyone should be able to find something to eat. The rooms are comfortable, though a bit spartan. The complimentary half bottle of wine was a nice touch. The on premises parking and the pool are also nice benefits.
Cons: Some early riser guests may find that the breakfast starts later than they would like, but the owner can definitely make arrangements to align with your schedule.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Cristian was so warm and friendly, and really made us feel at home! The lodge is modern, clean, and stylish, and grounds are really beautifully landscaped. It was lovely to come home from a day of wine tasting and relax by the pool or on the back patio overlooking the neighboring vineyard.
Cons: Not really a con, but travelers should be aware there are three dogs who live here - they are friendly and sweet, but if you're allergic or uncomfortable with dogs, it might impact the comfort of your stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cristian and his mom were lovely. I appreciated that they followed our dietary restrictions. The house is set on vineyards and have a beautiful view when sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine. The pool area looked nice but unfortunately it was too cold outside for us to use. Bedroom was very warm vs the rest of the house which was freezing in the morning.

10.0 Excellent

We had the opportunity to tour some wineries around Santa Cruz and this was the perfect place to return to relax and unwind. In our opinion, this was a treasure to find and we would love to come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts Mandy and Cristian were very welcoming and explained to us a lot about the valley, it’s history and culture. The location of the lodge inside a vineyard is unique and allowed us to take some beautiful walks around the property. The lodge is exquisite and extremely well taken care of. Breakfast, prepared by Mandy, was also delicious!

Pros: Very nice garden and good location a short walk to plaza. Very nice hosts and wonderful breakfast
4.6 Okay
Pros: The owner was really nice but didn't speak a word of English so it made communication a bit limited. The breakfast was good, the location convenient and parking safe.
Cons: I think we just really came at the wrong time of the year. I can see how the place would be very nice in the summer, but in September, we couldn't do much more that stay in our room and have breakfast. The room itself was dark and pretty basic. The bin wasn't emptied and had the previous guest hygienic products in it, which wasn't the best first impression. For the price, I was expecting a slightly higher comfort level. I am sure that we would have had a difference experience at a different time of the year.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is very clean and well maintained. You can tell the owners (Hugo and Wendy) pay a lot of efforts in keeping the house. The place is very clean and organized, in a quiet neighborhood. Hugo is super lovely we really enjoyed talking to him (though we don’t speak much Spanish) he told us the local travel information that we need for the wine tasting route and helped us arrange the cycling. When we came back late one day from the cycling, he was waiting for us outside because he was worried about us. It’s really touching. The breakfast is great. It’s the one of the best breakfast we had in our South America trip.
Cons: It’s not exactly in the town center (around 15mins’ walk) but we are fine with it
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Awesome breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast - not hot everyday. Friendly host Could hire bikes easily
Cons: Was loud on the Saturday night. Both music on til around 10 (owner) and also people coming and going in the middle of the night. Possibly another guest ringing the bell etc around 1 am. Just a warning host speaks Spanish. We were fine with basic Spanish.

10.0 Excellent
Cons: There was no answer when we came to check in at 3:00pm. We tried several times, then went touring and returned at 6:30 pm. Then they answered the door. The charge was for more than booking.com quoted, as the price was reduced, per your email. However, we were charged $78.00 U.S. This the 2nd time the price was for more than I was quoted!
5.8 Okay

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hacienda Los Lingues, allowed us the opportunity to experience some history and culture while holiday in Chile. The place is a monument to times gone by and a place to relax and enjoy the neighbouring wine region. The food was good, the service excellent but not overbearing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Historic location.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great!
Cons: I would have liked to seen the grounds kept up more. It would have also been awesome to see some of the old buildings kept up better as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hacienda and surrounding property is truly beautiful as is its location, slightly off the beaten track. Antonio and all the staff were very welcoming, making us feel much wanted and valued guests.
7.5 Good
Pros: Athmosphere of 317 year old hazienda full of antiques and memories of past times
Cons: It is obvious that property doesn’t generate sufficient cash to keep it in a good shape. And the service could be better. No information about the history of hazienda. We were guided through the property only under request.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Location and the history
Cons: Getting run down. Seems that the 2010 earthquake must have really set them back. Understaffed to maintain the once magnificent grounds Unfortunately, it has fallen far from being listed in book "1000 Places to Visit before you Die" and when was a Relais&Chateau hotel.

Pros: Property was absolutely gorgeous! We loved the fire, the breakfast, the bed, and especially the outdoor living!
Cons: The only thing that was tricky about this property was getting to it. We came after dark and had trouble getting someone to let us in the gate. Also our GPS did not seem to be able to find it, so if the sign said not been on the road we probably wouldn’t have.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful property and garden. Comfortable rooms and common area. Great breakfast. Great location to explore the surrounding vineyards. Staff is very helpful and accommodating.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice house, beautiful location in the nature, close to a river. Very nice people taking care of the property.
Cons: No easy to arrive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting is marvellous, very parklike. It requires a car to get to.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The shower was great and the river view was beautiful
Cons: The staff made you feel very uncomfortable, watching you whilst you ate breakfast and were not there to open the gate at checkin. Breakfast was always an hour late (they stayed from 8-10am but was only ready after 9) It was not stated that there are no nearby shops or restaurants nor that lunch nor dinner are available at the property... The wifi didn’t work on our last day and our room wasn’t made either. It was very remote unless you have a rental car and probably not worth it. Rather stay at an actual wine farm with tastings, wine and good food and friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!! The house and its surroundings are beautiful. Victor and Katherine were really hepful. The breakfast was amazing.
Cons: Nothing

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The interior is very rich, old school, with beautiful paintings, china, antique furniture and it suits the building. The pool area is very private and surrounded by plants. Breakfast was delicious, with actual fresh juices. Staff was very friendly. They don't speak English so prepare yourself with some useful phrases.
Cons: It is located in Santa Cruz 'city'. Upside, it's minutes away from the better vineyards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old house with pool and an extensive collection of antiques. Staff was very helpful, professional and informed. Location is very good, a short walk to the square and excellent restaurants on the way.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Vendimia is easy to find, located just off the Main Street and four very long blocks from Santa Cruz’s central plaza. It has a great deal of style (colonial with lots of ornate wood, tons of art, artifacts, and interesting furniture), and the guest rooms are charming and inviting. The host was also warm and welcoming, and the (included) breakfast, while not fancy, was ample.
Cons: Our only complaint was the our room was quite cold at first. After a few hours, the wall-mounted heater finally seemed to win out over the wintry temperatures. Stronger lightbulbs in the rooms would also make them feel cozier.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great helpful staff who helped us book things. Nice breakfast with good selections
Cons: Little bit dated but comfortable. Santa Cruz itself not great but surrounding areas for vineyards are great
5.0 Okay
Pros: very helpful staff
Cons: everything is an add on to make it look like a 4 star but not good mattress and awful breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: two blocks from the square, helpful staff, arranged everything needed - tour wine, calm at night
