Old-school hotel near Nantes station, wearing its age. Balcony had a view of Nantes, with the cathedral in the distance. WiFi worked, TV didn't. Nice staff. Overpriced for how modest it was.
TV could have worked, the rate for such a modest room pretty high, really.
Good location for central Nantes and very close to the main railway station. Staff were helpful & friendly, family room was very suitable for 3 friends sharing. No garage, but space found for our bicycles.
During warm weather the sun on the roof made the attic family rooms very warm & remained warm overnight despite opening windows for fresh air. Limited headroom in bathroom, nowhere to hang shower head.
Excellent hotel location, across road from TGV rail station ,five minutes from Chateau and town centre another few minutes walk. Staff very welcoming, and handy breakfast to start the day.
The location was close to the gare and close to the metro station. You can go by walking to the center of the city.
The staff was not welcoming. The rooms were too small and not clean as they should be. There was always a bad smell in the corridors of the hotel. and the most shocking thing was there was no hot water for showering. We stayed for 2 nights, during a weekend. On the check out day we asked to keep the luggage in the lobby. We were informed by the receptionist that the hotel will close at 1 pm till Monday morning !! This was not included in the policy of the hotel nor mentioned during our stay!!
Good position but had to park in the station car park- the receptionist ( owner ) stamped my ticket, said I would get a reduction- no difference at all , over 20 euros to park the car.
Owner started correcting my French - I was trying my. Best having lived in France before.
