Staff's English speaking skills very poor
he hotel staff was very kind and helpful the room was rather small for a 4 star hotel, no wifi in the room
Location, clean room, nice sea view
it is good hotel 4* near road
the location was great ! I just wish the room was a bit bigger nothing, it was a great place !
Outstanding Hotel, greate location, great view from room! You will love this hotel.
The lobby was nice and cool. Airconditioning worked very poorly and personel turned it remotely off even when we were in the room. Shower didn't work, water was changing constantly between ice cold and burning hot. Shower booth door fell away. We received towels onöy for one even we were two adults and one kid. Dinner was a fixed menu service, not a la carte and the quality was not up to the price charged. Personel gave a lot of empty promised, but nothing happened. Far, far away from four stars, mamimum two and a half stars.
Reception staff was friendly but this is all I can say good... Breakfast was very poor, definately not a 4 star hotel one (1, max 2). The restaraunt barely spoke English but I guess this is normal for Italy. Despite I paid 120 EUR per night the room was facing the side street where it was noicy from the pizza business at nights...
The friendliness and professionalism of staff and management Pick up price from Airport should be a standard rate & not priced per person
Centrally located near the restaurants etc., handy for the railway station. Staff very helpful and freindly. Sometimes difficult parking
No, I'm not because it's a old style hotel. Elevator is old, room is very kitschy, breakfast the same everyday.
The receptionist gave my room key to his friend who tried to break in thinking I was not in the room. I would not recommend you conduct further business for this hotel.
the beach of the hotel
There is a perfect quite place in September with the private beach. You can have a little walk on sea coast. In 5 min walk you can find the best pizza restaurant. The center of the city Anzio is about 2km from the hotel. You can find there many fish and seafood restaurants. Train station is in 10 min walk. You can get Rome in 1 hour. Breakfast is a little bit frugal. It is difficult to find place for eat in the daytime except the hotel restaurant and beach bar. Hotel guests from bus tours (we met Russian and Polish groups) are loud on the beach in the days when they are not in the tour.
Good service Restaurant was geared for coach parties, not individual guests.
Sea view!!!! Big rooms. Responsive people on reception. A bit dirty bathroom
The cleanliness of the room and the buffet breakfast. Also, the staff was very helpful with arranging a taxi. The shower head in our bathroom did not always stay up on the hook.
Location is nice right on the beach. There was a noisy tour group on the first evening (all night long). The sea-view rooms are a bit run down. Staff seem to be more concerned about themselves than about the guests. For no obvious reason the beach acess was closed on Sunday (they said there was not staff available to supervise...) so people had to climb over the fence to reach the beach.
Good geographic position of hotel, very good seaside, qualified staff. Nothing information in the train station about connection with hotel.
Location and cost We arrived at 9:05pm on New Years Eve - the kitchen closed at 9. No sympathy from staff, no offer to make us a sandwich, just a shrug and the directions to town. Now this is New Years Eve and what few restaurants that were open were booked. No soup for U
Extremely clean... beautiful roof top pool and deck that overlooks the Mediterranean. Delicious breakfast spread served on the roof of the hotel each morning. Rooms have little porches with a table and 2 chairs. Somewhat tough to communicate with the staff as they don't really speak English- but not a major issue whatsoever.
The hotel was very nice, but the girl who was on the front desk didn't speak any English. we managed to make ourselves understood and had a nice time.
Helpfulness, Cheerfulness Difficult to find
Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel has private beach very close. Seaview balcony is good. Old hotel, small breakfast, not enough value for money
We liked the way we were met by the persons working at the hotel.Nice greakfast
Hotel staff were all very helpful and made our stay easy and were always willing to answer my questions
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, very nice location.
The hotel is sutiated not far from railway station Anzio Colonia and near the beach. The seaview room has a very big balcony. The first line of the beach is occupied by villas. So you can get on the beach only by stairs. The rent of the 2 sun beds and umbrella are rather expensive - 19 euro, 15 euro with the hotel discount.
Good location right on the beach (steps down). Reasonably good breakfast. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Decent selection of tv channels and small fridge in the room. Good air con system. Quite a distance from Anzio town. Bathroom, although well equipped, was very small but shower worked well and plentiful hot water. If travelling by train you need to get off at anzio colonia station not Anzio.
Really comfortable, wonderful sea view and helpful reception. Good breakfast and Wifi. Good beach. To improve the cleaning of the rooms
I am always pleased to stay at the Lido Garda because I find the staff and the atmosphere very friendly. It is a comfortable hotel which suits my purpose when visiting Anzio. The breakfast selection is particularly good and was one of the reasons for my choosing the hotel on this visit. I found my room (number 26) to be in need of some decoration and believe that it may have been neglected for some time.
It's a very cosy, homelike hotel. I like it's location: 40 steps... and you're enjoying the sea. And it's a short way from Rome. The staff is polite, amiable and hospitable.
Nice small hotel with incredible surroundings by the sea. Everything was clean and cute. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Pretty far away from the Anzio centre, so one need to be ready to walk
