The location is great and the staff was friendly.
I was disappointed when we got to the room. The room was tight and we were expecting a more luxurious bathroom. There was very little walking space with the king bed.
Not much good to say.
Extremely poor customer service. Manager was difficult to get in contact with. Upon check in could not get into hotel. Not a person in site had to wait untill someone else who had a key could get us in. Still waited. Then they were rude. Cleaning service was Also rude. Would not recommend to anyone. Could not wait to leave.
The hotel was amazing. The updates are very spectacular. The staff was very receptuce and accommodating.
Only thing I can think of is when we checked in there were only 2 towels for a family of 4. They were quick to bring a couple more.
worst hotel ever
my room was not ready until 11pm at night one housekeeper the hotel is not even finish why will they opening for business
Not what I expect or wanted
I like the location , that it was right on canal. There was security that was very helpful but that’s all . The room was very nice
We could not check into the hotel until 4pm , that all day, there was not enough maids so we could get check in. When we finally could the room that I booked was unavailable! I don’t know how this happen . I had to settle for a room that I didn’t want or sleep in my car . The parking was horrible.
The location was nice and convenient but the hotel was still not really to open for Mardi Gras. After waiting for couple of hours we did not get the room we booked
nothing, good location for mardi gras , front desk was rude as hell attitude was horrible especially when they were no rooms as if was the guest faults, no ice or vending machines on the floor,
everything, no room were ready when we arrived we had one face rag in our room we didnt get the room that I paid for we did not have bedding for the let out bed asked for it we got a sheet. we were at the very end of a hall in a room that was not finish being remodeled the telephone did not work for us to call the front desk we spent two hours waiting for a room horrible experience with this hotel. other than that I was told that I would have to pay less than what I paid for the hotel The assistant general manager told me that she had contacted the booking agency that I went through the booking to let them know that the cost of my room had been changed the agency stated that she didn't call them for a refund of the difference of the room. good location for mardi gras but horrible stay. they need to close and finish their remodeling and then re open.
Horrible Mardi Gras Experience
The location was nice and convenient but the hotel was still not really to open for Mardi Gras.
The management was horrible, refused to come to the front desk and talk with customers. -10/10 service
Worse hotel experience ever.
When I showed up my reservation had been canceled. I was on the phone for over a hour trying to get things straight. We were finally put in a room after they told us there were no more rooms available. The room we were put smelled awful clearly people had been smoking in it all night long. They ended up moving us to another new room. We ended up missing our dinner reservation, making our friends wait, and were late to the event we were there for. Overall the worse hotel experience I have ever had.
The hotel is ideally located on Canal Street. It is close enough to the French Quarter, that a walk takes about 15 minutes, but far enough that you do not have the noise, the dirt, or the crowds.
It was agony trying to get information about parking. It took several attempts to get someone to answer the phone. The first employee was not helpful. I called a second time and got someone who gave me the phone number for the parking garage. I called the garage number, and the agent gave me the address and the rates, which was my original purpose.
Great Location, Great Staff
Location.. Right on Canal & Blocks away from Bourbon St Trolley & Bus Stops across the street Staff was wonderful. Especially our morning staff(sorry forgot her name). She went the extra mile. Gave us 2(FREE) trolley passes so my husband & I ventured out in N. Orleans. Nite & all around staff was very courteous. OVERALL...Great stay
PILLOWS WERE TOOOOO SMALL.: We travel a lot & never saw some pillows that small. look like sofa throw pillows. Towels: but NO wash rags the following day(I'm sure they would have supplied sum if I'd called but we travel with some. PRICE: We paid $209.00 per nite & the Marriot few blocks away was $239, I know bc family stay there....
Best Place on Canal
I loved that it was walking distances to Bourbon Street, Walking distances to shopping centers and an awesome location for transit transportation. The Trolley drop off and pick you up right outside of the hotel and it's very cheap. $3 for a 24 HR riding pass. I love the price of the hotel and the fact that they allowed my check out to be at 12pm when asked.
I didn't like that the hotel didn't have continental Breakfast as its stated during online registration
