Very clean and comfortable. Location is close to CBD and French Quarters. Have noisy guest but after speaking to front desk. They were quiet.
Everything was nice
I stayed in the old warehouse side. Full of charm!! Other side looked like most other Hampton Inns, so ask for one of the suites in the renovated warehouse side. Didn’t swim but the pool looked nice. Small but in a lovely courtyard.
Breakfast was great, fast check-in
Had a very nice décor, smelled nice, staff very friendly, room very clean, breakfast was nice and was impressed that each mornings meal was different. Close to everything we wanted to see. Availability of tour, buses tours and visitor information we found very helpful
Very clean, great variety for breakfast. Would definitely book again.
Did not get what I paid for.
I reserved and paid for a suite two months in advance. When I arrived I was told that the hotel overbooked and was given the only room available. When I showed the confirmation to the clerk I was told," It is not available." The hotel had been paid for a suite and I was given a standard room. The manager gave me a free parking pass and a coupon to the bar as compensation for their mistake.
The staff was great, rooms were clean and neat. The poolside was nice clean and filtered. And the location was convenient nice view
The price of valet was a lil expensive
The room accomidations
Having to pay $40 a day to valet car with no prior notice!
Great location, neat charm and great breakfast. Watch out for the $40 valet upon arrival!
Overpriced valet, somewhat shabby towels.
Overall just okay.
There were a few staff who served breakfast who were really terrific
They were under construction and we were not advised prior to travel. The smell of paint was irritating to my allergeries when I brought that up to the staff I was brushed off and no a accommodation was offered.
Friendly, helpful staff
Great NOLA Hotel
Convenient location; friendly/helpful staff, exceptionally clean rooms; lots of room to visit in lobby.
Business travelers and convention-goers can find the perfect accommodations, amenities, and conveniences at the newly renovated Hampton Inn and Suites New Orleans Convention Center. While business is the scene for the hotel, relaxed is the vibe.
The hotel is aptly named because it is the closets NOLA hotel, and literally across the street, from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Located in the Arts and Warehouse District, the hotel is within a short drive to the French Quarter and other area attractions. The area’s finest is just a half-mile away, such as the Mercedes Benz Superdome, Smoothie King Center, Tulane University, and the World War II Museum.
On-site amenities offer business travelers all they need for a comfortable and convenient stay. A swimming pool is available for a cool down, a fitness center to work off the stress, a basic business center and meeting rooms, and a fabulous free daily breakfast for the guest on the go. The Warehouse lobby bar is also a great place to grab a drink at the day’s end.
The 288 rooms are bright and comfortable with glimpses of the old NOLA. Two types of rooms are available, those in the newer building and those in the restored warehouse, and while all have similar amenities, warehouse rooms have more character. With in-room amenities like signature Hampton Beds, coffeemakers, microwaves, refrigerators, and free Wi-Fi, this hotel serves as a comfortable home away from home.
