China, the current manager, was absolutely the rudest manager at a hotel that I gave ever encountered. I couldn’t reach the valet the bring my car around for a flight that I needed to make. I asked for the manager at the front desk and requested that that try to reach them and have my car pulled around. This is what valet should do and a manager should be able to take care of this. She told me to take care of it myself and I told her that’s why I am asking her to do it. She hung up on me. But that’s not all. I tried for 2 days to get the concierge to book a dinner reservation. It never happened. We tried to eat at the Desire restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was cold, not prepared well and took 45 min for 1 breakfast dish that we ordered at 7am when they opened. We were told it was a new cook. Ultimately, the entire bill was comped. We just walked out. I will never stay there again and I’ll make sure to tell everyone I know about my experience.

10.0 Wonderful
Pros:I liked everything. The cleanliness, the service, the location, the beds, the updated bathrooms etc.
Cons:I was fully satisfied
A
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:Everything available was excellent
Cons:Covid-specialized massages would have been nice, like some other nice hotels I stay at currently
E
4.5 Mediocre
Pros:The lobby area was nice and the bellman were very helpful and friendly.
Cons:The room was lacking basic items like bath towels, coffee cups. We were “upgraded” to a suite which had a queen spring with a twin mattress with the springs sticking out so we were unable to use this for our kids but still had to pay the upgrade price. Therefore the “upgrade” did not provide us with any additional sleeping space. The room door key did not work because they had to charge the lock. The concierge desk was impossible to reach to get towels, sheets, ect. It would just ring and go to voicemail. We tried to order food from the in house restaurant and they directed us to their in room menu which did not exist. Our room was two levels with an exit door on each level. I asked if they could deliver our sheets to the second level because we may not hear the knock on the first level and they said they were unable to go to the second level, even though this is a normal hotel floor with a normal hallway door entry so I was confused by this. Many of these issues are likely because they are short staffed with COVID-19 and hopefully will be improved.

Pros:Confortable accomodations
A
9.4 Wonderful
Pros:Very nice hotel. Prices reflect hotels location. Service was excellent. Please note that during our stay that there was construction, both road and building, being done right in front of the hotel. That made it difficult traveling the one way streets to get to the hotels parking garage. Choose your dates carefully if you select this hotel.

Pros:Staff. Comfort. Location. Jazz lounge.
Cons:Pricing is very high during Mardi Gras weeks. Jazz lounge closed at 10pm
