The staff were nice. The hotel is in a very seedy, unsafe area. The room was cramped and even though it was a non-smoking room, it smelled like cigarette smoke.
Excellent location, great price, good breakfast(included) The staff that received us wasn't so helpful and had a bad attitude
Great position: very close to the city center, to the main attraction and to public transportations
Very good hotel for the price no
Close to touristy areas It might be a 2 star hotel but that doesn't mean you skimp on cleanliness. It was also SO loud, even at 2am. When we called to complain about a domestic dispute in the room next to ours (throwing furniture and screaming) they said they'D get to it when they can. Didn't happen.
The location was great and next to the centeral turistic spots. The staff was kind and allowed us to late check-out Excellent breakfast buffet. The room was cleaned everyday, and was fully equipped. WI-FI signal was poor and the room. There is no tea/coffee making facilities or bottled water in the room. I don't have antyhing else to say.
Good location; nice staff; Spacious lobby and bar gives relaxed athmosphere and room to relax. Rooms basic but clean
--the efficient check-in --the very large (by European standard) of the room --the absolutely excellent buffet breakfast included in the room price
everything! The welcome by the reception staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and room, the ambiance, the breakfast service and the "black" head waiter who was very pleasant and graceful in looking after us. The restaurant prices. 5 euros for tap water served from a bottle. Martini served straight in a regular glass rather than in a martini glass.
It was very clean, great localization, in the center but no notice when you sleep! Loved it Liked it all
The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast room was an absolute horror, with hundreds of tourists fighting for food and a table. The facility is a disgrace to an otherwise decent hotel. The water in the shower was too cold and the pressure too low.
The AC worked great. Our non smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke.
Hotel is very well located in the city center - ideal for tourists. Just couple of things spoiled whole Brussels experience: 1 - Discovered there were no towels in bathroom right after taking a shower, 2 - Late evening food from room service was foxy - a complete shame for a 4 star hotel.
I thought the breakfast was nice, and the beds were comfortable. I had to ask to switch my room twice as I found the rooms depressing and not light or big enough. The room temperature was very cold and I had to ask for a space heater. I found some concierges helpful; others not. The food in their restaurant was not good and I had an issue with something I ordered. I also wished they had made laundry service available. The lobby is very cold and shuts down early, and there is no where to have a drink, read and relax. The bathroom smelled very funny, and I could not get them to fix this. I also received no offer of help with my luggage when I called down to say I was checking out. Overall, this hotel needs updating and to be much more cozy, light and guest friendly. There is a lot they could do to improve.
Staff was very helpful and professional. My experience was exceptional. Everything met expectations.
Location and standards
The location close to Grande Place is excellent. Old fashioned bathroom, with even a little bit of moisture in the corners.
Great location, nice rooms and we thought the price was really reasonable.
Excellent overall, nice furnishings, perfect location. Wifi was spotty - signal was fine in the bathroom, but not on the bed. Absolutely nothing else to complain about, though.
The bed was not very comfortable which is dissapointing from a hotel of this standard
Location is good. staff are excellent and very nice. Nothing
Excellent location just around corner from The Grand Place Reception staff somewhat unhelpful but the concierge and staff very helpful and informative.
staff was very nice, location was perfect, room service breakfast was great
Very nice playced.
Very pleasant stay, comfortable well appointed hotel. Good location. Excellent value.
Everything worked great. Personnel was very helpful. Cleaning was exceptional. Good location. Room interior was old and worn.
nice, large room and common areas were very attractive high cost of internet service-this is free in many hotels
Perfect location :)
Le Plaza is a dream hotel. Best ever. Location, staff, room everything great. Breakfast was a bit expensive
It was in the middle of the city and shopping malls I was told it is 5 star but it was only 4 star !!
The location of the hotel was great to get to other areas. The packing of the hotel has low capacity in the parking garage and the hotel parking lot has no security my car got broken Into and all the items in my trunk and inside me vehicle were stolen.
nicely situated and nicely decoarated hotel. very decent. I recommend
The staff, in particular Nancy, were absolutely fantastic and made for a very pleasant stay. The Hotel and location were stunning. Great stuff altogether.
The room was fantastic and the staff very helpfull
The wifi in the hotel wouldn't connect with my phone. The hotel is located in a very fashionable district, but with limited dining options. Most importantly the hotel DOES NOT provide airport transport, this was the main reason I booked with them. Any hotel can call a taxi to take you to the airport (at your own cost) that should not qualify as airport transport.
Location is fantastic; staff is wonderful. It's a very nice hotel.
we liked the quality and luxury, and the staff's friendliness as well as the italian restaurant few things minor like no iron board and was a bit pricy and minited room service options
A bit overpriced, the breakfast good but to expensive. The best is the location !
Quick check-in, discreet personnel
helpful staff, center of the city for the price i paid, wroth it!
Fabulous service from the Concierge, ALL staff v courteous, helpful and the best service I have had in a hotel for a very long time! The room maid even put a bookmark in my book!
Staff friendly and efficient, concierge particularly
Very central, easy to walk anywhere in city center, very good hotel facilities and friendly hotel staff. Because of the very central position of the hotel, street noise goes around the clock day and night, which is a problem for the rooms looking at the streets. The bar served moistened nuts and the reply was "this is what we have".
Location not free internet
location is great! we had problem with room service. couple of days before arriving we ordered, prepayed a small birthday cake for 60euro wich they could not take to the room from the kitchen in 45 minutes after asking for it, so we could not wait for it. They explained that they were to busy.
Space of the room plus bathroom facility, free internet connection by reception desk, helpful staff plus the facts that they remembered my previous stay and ensured same quality of room was provided to me
You don't even get the second foot in the door before you're greeted by friendly and welcoming staff waiting to attend to your every need. The breakfast (if you choose to have it included) is a fresh, healthy and great quality variety also with impeccable service and choices. The rooms are adequately sized and the beds and pillows are quite plush. There are slippers and robes for your added comfort and the tea selection in the room is great. The bathrooms are fully equipped and have a very modern and Chiq decor. Room service was a bit costly (as it is with most hotels) but this was because while the quality of the food was great and fresh, I really didn't enjoy the flavor. It is conveniently located between the trams and close to the Brussels midi station. Also, on Rue Louise there are all the major high end brands for clothing, jewelry, shoes and perfume, there are chocolatiers and other typically European magazines. Once you head out the revolving doors of Rue du Châtelain, and turn right, you will see that there are many cafés, bars, bistros, and magazines (shops) along the way. The cuisine is mainly, Italian, French and English, and there are Asian restaurants and a conveniently located liquor store to get your Belgian beer. There's also a food store further down. In the opposite direction, about a 30 min stroll away, there is the European Parliament, and the Grande Place that hosts many of the museums, a must see is the Music Museum, and a must have is the Belgian chips/fries and waffles. Hopefully this helps! The dinner I ordered in room service was not a good taste for me.
beds were comfortable, staff weer helpful and food was good the airconditioning did not work on any of the 7 days we were at the hotel, it was stifflingly hot, bathroom wasn't ventilated, we asked 3 times if anything could be done
Excellent staff, nicely presented, food excellent
Booked it for guests, which seemed very pleased with the quality of the hotel compared to 4-star hotels which we usually rent for them. The only marginally negative thing is not to underestimate it's closeness to Louisa/Louize. It's about 20 minutes walking which isn't pleasant during rainy days and the tramline on the street is incredibly hectic.
Its convenience to the city centre and nearby shopping streets as well proximity of transportation. They do not have a lobby its more of a waiting area
Kindness of the staff, the size of the room and the bathroom - very modern and enjoyable. The minibar is cheaper comparing to other 5star hotel The standard breakfast is poor - It costs 25 euros and you only get miniature croissants and bread plus the hot chocolate was only made up of water
The spacious comfort of the room, with its separate toilet from the bathroom. It was difficult to make the coffee maker work as I didn't know about the on/off switch at the back of the machine. It would be helpful if that information could be added to the instruction booklet.
The staff and the type of room. In spite of my request there was no glutenfree breakfast
The very helpful staff, the cleanliness, the size of our room, and the general ambience of the hotel I think that the breakfast was too expensive for a cold meal. Also there was no variety we spent 10 days with the same choice of 2 different cheeses and 3 cold meats. Also we had to pay for the coffee taken in our room.
Everything - the room was fine, staff were all very helpful, friendly and courteous, the breakfast was excellent. The only minor fault was that there was no alarm clock provided in the room, although this was listed in the hotel's information details for the room.
the comfortable room no
Well located near metro stop. Staff were pleasant and helpful
I like the room as well as the bar at reception level I was surprised to have to pay for a breakfast I did not have. But I suppose this had to do with the fact it came as a promotional, 'take it or leave it' package?
Great location and staff
Very polite staff
Absolutly nothing they dubble charge me for one nights accmodation and would not repay the money i had to call my bank and invovle the police still awayting refound Absolutly nothing they dubble charge me for one nights accmodation and would not repay the money i had to call my bank and invovle the police still awayting refound
Excellent staff, beautiful lobby & rooms, relaxing shower, great shower products.
I love in this hotel in a prime location in the city center, markets, and particularly among the international fashion shops and the hotel staff friendly good spirit and vitality They freezing of 300 euros from your Credit for the duration of your stay + value of accommodation and breakfast, the Internet and the position of the vehicle is not free and at the same time expensive
Beakfast & resceotionist was quite helpful.
Style and comfort of the room, Excellent professionalism and kindness of the staff
The Bed was the best we have ever had in Europe. Very Clean and the Design of the rooms, especially the bathroom was fabulous. Simple, Elegant Style. Furnishings on outside terrazzo were fun and comfortable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of three nights at the Stanhope. It was a convenient location for walking Brussels, and enhanced time there. The staff was great and accomodating of our needs. We loved our room which was spacious and nicely appointed. The only semi-negative thing I can say, is that the bed was quite soft, which was not good for someone with a bad back like me. Also, we asked to have some food heated up, and they said that they would send someone to take care of this for us. They forgot, and we had to call a second time.
Staff was not helpful, beds were old and not comfortable at all (had two rooms to try since the first one had brown water in the bathroom since it wasn't used for a long time).
Very fast and efficient check-in and check-out, room small but comfortable and well-equipped. Minor point : coffee-making facilities would be useful
the hotel room design is great,it provides a fantastic atmosphere of luxury
One can count on the quality of the staff.
Atmosphere was perfect. Nothing.
Hotel facilities detail has incorrect information. According to detail when I book room, Wifi is available with additional fee (6.95 per day). However not only wifi, internet connection (LAN) was need additional fee. If I've known LAN connection was not including room charge, I was not book this hotel. This is totally incorrect information. Hotel must disclose not just wifi, even LAN connection require additional cost. If this was on hotel detail, I NEVER HAVE BOOKED THIS HOTEL.
The 'romantic package' secured us a very good room for two nights in a first class hotel for a good price. Breakfast was poorly organised and choice was very limited. The garden is lovely though.
The interior decoration is very pleasant, rooms are quiet.
Close to EU Commission offices pillows too soft
very clean room bit costy
The staff was excellent, especially the concierge (a 40 (?) year old man with glasses). The room is ok, but the TV has only 2 English channels (news) despite having so many other channels. It is quite expensive for the quality. No one should have to pay for wi-fi internet!! Room was not ready when I arived in the morning from USA.
Ideally located for my visit; great to have the Place Jourdan on the doorstep. Very comfortable bed, and good shower. When we needed a taxi straightaway, it took a long time (about half an hour) to arrive, and the concierge disappeared.
Everything was superb!! The staff at front office and the concierge desk excel and offer very professional service. Simply outstanding.
Everything was wonderful. I loved the special winter rate! That we had to leave.
Extremely comfortable, good food and excellent service
it was an Excellent Hotel. clean, quite. good location, good sttaff. NOTHING
All good, except internet price. Internet has to be payed in all locations. At least at the lobby it would be expected to have free access.
the hotel was just nextdoors to the conference centre. A 5 seconds walk.
shower, bed, bar restaurant was closed
The staff was very friendly! The coffee machine in the room was awful!
Friendly staff, good restaurant. Only 20 km from Brusselles, but much cheaper than a similar quality hotel in the capital. Sometimes we found parking place only blocks away from the hotel. (But the neighborhood seems to be safe, there weren't any problem with the car.) There's no staff permanently at the reception desk, check out recommended in the previous evening if you want to leave the hotel early morning.
Good stay - second time and would stay again
Quiet, clean and comfortable room Shower room a bit of a disaster area as fat too small. Breakfast poor and overpriced. Check out completely disorganised
Staff and food are excellent Internet was not working in the room however it worked fine in the reception
Food was well prepared and good value for money
Internet worked well. Room was clean and comfortable. No breakfast included. Free parking was not on the premises. Very impersonal, staff not very friendly, it was like my visit was a big inconvenience to them.
The hotel is cute. The room was clean. It was a fair price. Although we did not dine their, it did seem like they had a up-scale dining facility. Service was not good. We arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon. All the lights were off in the reception area and no one was there. We walked around in the kitchen and the first floor but could not find anyone. Rang the bell but no one answered. We left to go eat (carrying 4 pieces of luggage) and came back at 4pm. There was still no one there. Had to go find the cleaning lady on the 3rd floor. She came to the reception desk but could not help us. Another employee finally arrived about 4:15pm. There were other guests waiting to check in as well. We booked through bookings.com but they did not have our name on their register, just our booking number. The free wi-fi did not work. Bed sheet had a tear in it. Coffee was $4 per cup. No free breakfast
The outside of the building Room atmosphere
good location, easy access to highways in the last 18 months the staff (restaurant and room ) has deteriorated to the point that they do not either speak or understand anything other than french.
. Good hotel. Very expensive for the quality during weekdays. More reasonable during weekends. . Friendly helpful staff specially the manager and bellboy Internet reception was weak/non-existent in my first room. Switched to a room in another floor. Better but still not great. . Not near the any of the tourist things (city center, Grand Place, Centeral Train Station . Had to take the metro to go anywhere or do anything. . Weak internet signal. . Breakfast not worth the price.
Excellent facilities. Room large and comfortable. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Proximity to center, either by auto or metro.
The room facilities and the staff who were really fast and professional. The cleanliness was poor, I found a piece of glass on the floor and in the bath!!! The vaccumming was not really good either.
Excellent location; nice hotel, friendly staff, good value for money beds were a bit hard, shower head kept falling
small hotel with all the facilities very quiet despite busy location
I appreciated the fact that most of the staff are multilingual. Moreover, the staff was always very helpful, either with information or in handling any request for additional service, which were dealt with promptly and without additional charges.
Excellent value for the price (at least on week-end). Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Convenient location near underground. Nice rooms. Ridiculously expensive breakfast (20 EUR), but there are many breakfast opportunity near. The services are good, but it is rather a 4 star not a 5 star hotel.
Good price/quality and accessibility Exaggerated breakfast price and watery coffee
Complimentary slippers! Misunderstanding over room-service order.
It was a beautiful hotel, well located and the rate on booking.com was very good. Room did not have a view ( looked onto a brick wall, which made the room very dark. Not a major issue.
Spacious room w comfortable bed
The cafe outside, Breakfast was not up to the standard of the hotel. Actually very bad. Rooms on the backside not very interesting
Perfect location. Nice staff. Goood breakfast. Big rooms. Nothing
Location Tried to charge me 30% more than the booking price. Long waits checking in and out. Staff overall very unfriendly with some exceptions.
The hotel was very central and had an impressive reception area. We had to change rooms three times . The standard of accomodation was extremely disappointing for such a renowned hotel. The rooms were cold and very noisy from the street below. The room we eventually ended up in smelled of stale cigarette smoke. We did not have the energy to ask to be moved again. We would never consider staying there again.
Every thing great, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast
a lovely art deco hotel with good facilities, free and extensive breakfast buffet included. Free mineral water in bar a nice touch. apart from a small bathroom so toilet right next to bath (which was ok) the breakfast buffet hot trays were at best lukewarm
Location is good. It is an older hotel, but that also makes it unique.
Lovely decor and atmosphere The pillows were not very good - I woke up with a neckache!
The service ,unbelievable good
The Cafe Old and tired hotel.
Friendly staff, quite room, breakfast on the room was at no extra cost Bathroom was a bit dated.
Everything was perfect... room, accomadations, service and food were high level
Excellent, rather eccentric hotel. Room included a kitchenette Bit of a walk to reach the metro
The hotel is beautiful, totally elegant... what more could one ask for?
Typical "belgian style", luxurious and with lots of personality. Classic rooms and furnishing, Very good situation in business/shopping district of Brussels. Hotel has an hamman we didn't use -but looked appealling. Booking arrangement at hotel was (very) inefficient. We had to change twice (!) before we got our room (first two were un-prepared, despite the fact that we arrived late in the evening). We got a free room upgrade in exchange.
The suite was wonderful, very relaxing weekend and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely views over the garden and a very peaceful location. Dinner in the restuarant was excellent and the wine selection was good. One thing to note - it is not a 10 minute walk to the antiques market - it is more a 20 - 30 minute walk!!
Free internet 1. Bed was not comfortable. 2. Noisy hotel 3. Breakfast buffet was poor 4. not value for the money we paid
It looks like your own beautiful mansion in a City. Very homely, luxurious. The restaurant is located in a conservatory and the hotel has small delightful garden. Some of the rooms and apartments are overlooking the garden. The shopping street Louisa is few minutes away. The old city is about 20 min walk. Right in front you will find one of the best chocolate manufacturer in the city, with small chocolate shop for degustation. If you walk in opposite direction to the centre, you will find some very good non touristic restaurants for local public. Don't miss the Quinquallery restaurant and Museum Horta
Free Wireless Internet
I stayed for 3 nights. The staff was very nice and helpful, the decoration and the atmosphere very warm and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Nothing.
the place (louise) such nice place.
Spacious room, great views across the city The bathroom fittings are very 1970s. They could do with putting in better shower units
Service was very good, it was clean and quite luxurious.
Comfortable rooms, view from 15th floor, excellent breakfast Queen delxe plus room - it is not standard for 5 stars, it is 3 or 4. Bathroom was small, TV was old, shower was on the wall, not portable, without massage mode. Baths was for children, not for adults.
The deal was great, staff good, breakfast nice and great that it was included as most Brussels hotels don't include it. The location is good, easy to get to and in a nice area. I would not say that the room we stayed in was 'luxury' or 5 star, although it was comfortable and clean. I think the staff may have been overworked/understaffed during breakfast service as it was difficult to get coffee and refills. The price of minibar items is terrible - 7 euros for a bottle of water (which is the same as a bottle of beer).
The staff is great! They know me well by now and pamper me. The executive lounge was very dirty. Glass tables looked as they had not been cleanec in days! The service was much too slow. First time it was that bad.
High floor, quiet room
The hilton standard quality
The service and Location was perfect. I expected more though especially that I got equal service in some 3 star hotels in Europe. I got equal service in some 3 star hotels in Europe. Therefore, the value for money is not worthy. I have asked the reception to give me a late check-out for an extra hour and he refused which made us leave the hotel early and stay in the Airport for an extra hour.
room veiw was fantastic panoramic veiw over city was awesome breakfast was super every thing you could want quite a long walk from grand place
nothing specific poor lighting in the rooms
Standard high, and quality excellent, the cost due to the promotion was fantastic and I would recommend this hotel to anyone Had booked dinner, and we had to wait to be seated, price of meal in the hotel slighlty more than the restaurants near by but standard high.
Very pleasant and modern hotel in the heart of Eurocracy land, with some good eating and drinking places in close proximity. Metro is very close and easy to use. Beakfast is very good. Staff very accommodating.
The service was very good. Even though I arrived at the hotel earlier than the check in time, I checked in immediately without any delay. The room was very clean.
efficiently run, good breakfast and served till noon on weekends n/a
The beds were absolutely amazing.
location for EU is excellent. local staff hopeless. valu for money the poorest. 10 min to get to your room if you stay in the backwing of the building
Very nice, modern hotel, which is located right next to the European Commision and a metro stop. Several good bars and restaurants close enough to stagger back, but far enough away that they don't disturb you. Very clean room, and friendly English-speaking staff.
Location, service attitude
The view to the street in the rainy weather They have charged me euro 8 per minute for an international call. That was far too expensive. Moreover, the breakfast was not included in the rate - euro 25 per person extra for breakfast.
location was brilliant, hotel was very accommdating, it let us check in early and on leaving they allowed us to store our luggage. also lots of resturants located near it, and plus city sightseeing tour bus pulls up outside hotel. walls are a little thin, can hear other guest use bathroom facilities.. can be alittle annoying late at nite, otherwise fine hotel for price
good location, cofee/tea making facilities in the room, varied breakfast, toiletries am a non-smoker and had a smoking room
Friendly staff-extensive reception and dining area - very good Buffet breakfast. A/C was not working in my room and it was too warm for the first two of my five night stay. I complained and the only solution apparently was to turn off the heating in my room altogether. This was done but I also had to open a window (21st floor) for the remaining 3 nights.
excelent cental location there is no effective air condition in the room and the room is hot
I was "unvolontary" upgraded to a super room at 28th floor - I liked that! All OK.
The bed was very comfortable (and this is my most important review criterion). The breakfast was excellent and abundant -- would appeal to many different tastes. Wish I had time to use the spa.
clean, efficient, comfortable. Reasonable cost if you look for discounted from the hotel's standard room rates. Good Internet access except for capacity to send attachments. television had very poor sound quality. could have offered more channels at optional purchase?
The walls were a bit thin, and we could hear the people next door talk.
Too many people for the elevators to handle. I had to wait 10 minutes before an elevator stopped at my floor. And no roomservice.
Close to center and to business location It is too warm in the winter. Should be possible with air condition when windows can't be opened.
Breakfast: fresh and nice variety. Internet: fast Very few bathroom items provided by hotel, no space for your own bathroom items, no space for your luggage (no luggage holder), no safe, no shelfes for clothes only hangers, no bathrobe, no slippers, no complimentary mineral water. My hotel room didn't look the same as on the web page, instead of specially requested king bed, I've got 2 beds near each other.
excellent reception at the front desk from the arrival until departure
The room was very spacious and the hotel is bright, modern, and clean. Good price but mainly made up of business travelers (we were on our honeymoon). Didn't try the restaurant/bar (Smoods) on the first floor because the priced seemed absurdly high. Would be great for a longer term business stay because of the separate desk area in the room. Not much negative to say. The location is a bit of a hike from the tourist hotspots like the Grand Place. It's close to the Botanique metro station which was convenient but it would have been nicer to have a quicker walk to the city center instead. If you do walk to the city center from the hotel, make sure to walk through the gardens and then down Rue Neuve - it's much nicer than walking between all of the business buildings.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. You were able to choose your room based on the decoration. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Also, the hotel is very close to a tram station and about a ten minute walk to the train station. My room was very clean and seemed new. Also, why go for a hotel breakfast when you can buy a delicious waffle in the Grote Markt? The deadbolt on the back of our door wasn't working properly, but the room still locked.
Great breakfast simple fresh room decor Hotel will not loan adapter most basic thing in most hotel bug charged almost 10€ for one. Stayed with other hotels in area none does this
Very modern, well designed hotel. Helpful staff. Nice size, comfortable room. Our room weren't cleaned properly on our arrival, the trash was still there and there were strings of hair in the bath tub.
Friendly staff, nice room Extremely slow wireless, odd selection of TV channels
My room was spacious and they offer a good buffet breakfast with a wide range of choices. The free wi-fi in all rooms also came in handy. The hotel is close to the metro and bus- and tram stops. They are currently undergoing a big revamp and as such parts of the hotel are under construction. I experienced a bit of construction noise, but there were no problems regarding dust etc.
The room is big for the price we paid. The bar downstairs was nice and the bartenders were friendly and even made us specialty drinks that weren't on the menu We got to the room late in the evening, the receptionist gave us our room key. When we got to our room, our key didn't work. This happens sometimes so we weren't too upset. I came back downstairs and told another guy at the desk that we had just arrived and that our key didn't work. He fixed it and apologized, we headed to our room. When we opened the door, a woman shot up out of bed and asked "who's there". I felt terrible. Tried to apologize quickly as I spun out the door. I went back down to the desk and the people working had figured out what happened because the lady I walked in on called the front before we got down. They gave a voucher for 1 free glass of wine or beer and gave us the new key and apologized once more. When I turned to walk away, I realized that the same room that we just interrupted that woman in was still written on the key holder card. I turned and told him "this the same room we just came from". He said "oh, oh, I'm sorry." And gave me the right number. But he almost sent us back to the wrong room a third time. All kinds of other things went wrong while we were there. Loud construction RIGHT outside our window at 6am every morning. We were told we would get a five dollar voucher for the bar for every morning we didn't get our room cleaned and we never got it. 4 days in a row, we didn't want our room cleaned. We didn't care about the voucher, but when we went to the desk to ask for an extra bottle of water for our room (which comes with a free bottle of still water and sparkling every morning if you get it cleaned) the desk attendant said we couldn't have free water if our room hadn't been serviced. But when I mentioned that we never received our vouchers, there was some reason we couldn't get that either. I was so frustrated from no sleep from the construction and all the other issues (many of them too small of importance but also too many to list) that I stopped listening to their reasoning. I had decided that I'll never stay at this hotel again. Which is unfortunate because I had stayed there one night last time I was in Belgium. I didn't have much interaction with the staff as it was another late night. I just needed a bed for the evening. My only complaint was the location was kind of inconvenient but after this experience, i realized the problems are far worse than the location
Near Metro Station, Big clean rooms Arrangement of the breckfast room, to many different places
The rooms are spectacular for a 3 stars hotel and the staff is very kind and helpful.
We liked the art work in the room and the TV prompter for information The staff was really rude when we were checking out. There was a problem with an overcharged credit card and they made it to seem like it was our fault and took forever to fix it. Also the location was close to a bad neighborhood and it was really far from the city center
I liked the fact that the rooms are of good size, as well as the cleaness of the hotel in general I found few employees quite rude. There is one called MC that is very rude. I also didn't like the fact we didn't have water in the room fridge and we need to ask for water downstairs in the reception.
