Nordhorn hotels

Pros: Nice hotel, right by a lake, which my room overlooked. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Ample parking right in front of the hotel and in its vicinity. And the area seems very secure. Breakfast was quite impressive. There was a lot to choose from. Everything looked fresh and was well presented. Decent selection on the menu for both food and beverages at the restaurant. Due to the location attracting a lot of people during the weekend, you must expect to be a little patient to order and then to receive your order on Saturdays and Sundays. But it's hardly an issue. And you can enjoy people watching ^^

Pros: the comfort of the place

Cons: The staff was not interested in the guests. In the morning at 9.00 the housekeeping was knocking at the door. The check out is at 12.00! Duuring the breakfast, the staff was unhelpful and not interested.We have asked if it was possible to get the sunny side up eggs, but its was not and it was not said in the friendly way.

Cons: Parking a little reduced during the day

Pros: When we arrived, we meet a friend at the Hotel and had pre-dinner drinks outside at the "beach" area. The next morning, we all enjoyed the breakfast and the location. As we were leaving Nordhorn later during the day, they were kind enough to look after our luggage until we were ready to leave.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Wonderful and quiet location alongside the historic canal from Nordhorn to Almelo, immediately at the German-Dutch border in a beautiful landscape. Great bath room, breakfast and kind hospitality.

Pros: Thank you for making our Easter so cosy and full of warm feelings. Breakfasts were great, we got all we asked for from the helpful personel and additionally we had a perfect weather! If we are travelling somewhere near we will definitely come back :)

Pros: Great place, clean, friendly staff. Room was perfect for disabled people. Can access shower with wheelchair! Breakfast was basic, but nothing really missing. Location is not city center, but was exactly what I needed.

Cons: Prices of the vending machine. €2,20 for a bottle of drinking water. Seriously??

Pros: the room was good, with lots of space and we all had spacious bunks and lots of storage space which if we had been staying longer would have been handy

Cons: it was an incredibly hot night, and the room was not air conditioned, we found that in Germany very few places used ( or had?) air conditioning.

Cons: The service during our party was very slow,we were waiting for drinks too long and at times they didn’t arrive at all and we had to reorder

Pros: Great facilities, bar & restaurant (we had drinks not a meal though). Good room, comfortable bed. Amazing choice for breakfast So grateful to the staff, as were able to arrange an early check in, as we needed to change in order to attend a funeral

Cons: All good but possibly more modern touches in the bathroom would be good - i.e the shower

Pros: - the location of the Hotel is perfect, u have only a few minutes to walk to the city center - there is enough parking space around the hotel - the receptionist was very friendly - the breakfast was very good

Cons: - the offered (on the website) swimming pool is closed - the baarkeeper was absolutely not customer oriented

Pros: Like everything. Cofee, tea, sugar, drinking water (the first time), sweets, candle, water jug - in the room. The first necessity things in the bath room. Welcome drink (beer), discount coupons, very clean, big room, nice furniture. Great variety for breakfast. Good location.

Pros: Our second stay in the Stadtring for another reunion. Once again the hotel excelled itself

Pros: Arriving in 35 degrees, a fan in the room would have been welcome. Maybe next time

Cons: There was no air conditioning, no meals in the evening and everything shut down by ten o clock. For a Hotel that charges 100 € a night you should be entitled to at least a restaurant to use in the evening.

Cons: The staff's ability of speaking and understanding English was a bit poor. Anyway they were nice and worked hard, but had difficulties with the understanding. Maybe my English is not good enough :-))
