Pros: We had ordered a vegan meals; dinner and breakfast, and it exceeded our expectations! The chef; Aslak, was not specialized for vegan food, but he did an excellent job! We loved the food, spot on. And waiter: Marius- really friendly and polite.
Pros: The bedroom was simple wonderful, very cosy and decorated in a huy Norwegian style, with great views and a privat sauna! The restaurant was very good, and both dinner and breakfast were memorable with great local products. Definitely a place to return.
Pros: Fantastic location and friendly staff
Pros: Fantastic food and service
Pros: The nice and talented chef from Portugal! Excelent service and lovely food! Also the female owner was great! Friendly and helpful!
Pros: The breakfast was served to the table and it was very good. The room in our hytte was with sauna and the view was breathtaking. Very relaxing stay at this hotel. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant and it was served very elegantly.
Cons: Everything was as I expected
Pros: This is one of the most lovely lodging experiences we have ever had. The location is a gorgeous chalet halfway up the mountain, with only 3 romantically cozy suites, furnished with loving care with all possible comforts, including a real sauna in the bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant was worthy of a Michelin star, and breakfast was varied, tasty and abundant, consisting of locally sourced ingredients. All of this at a price equal to that of a large impersonal hotel.
Pros: We were surprised to find that there were only 3 rooms which meant that the place was much quieter and more exclusive than expected. Neither had we expected to be served such a fine meal (Michelin standard) by our host. The room was very high spec and the views outstanding.
Pros: The location, staff attention to everything, the food, the room, the view ... all 10+/10. A special mention to the staff, the two guys made our stay something that we will never forget. Just go there!
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Quietly situated by a small river in the Sigdal region, this property is 10 minutes’ drive from Prestfoss town centre. It offers cottages with cooking facilities and a fireplace. Halvorseth provides kitchen facilities such as an oven, stove and coffee maker. Each has a private bathroom with shower. Some have a sauna, while others are modelled after a traditional Mongolian roundhouse. Free Wi-Fi is available in Halvorseth’s restaurant, along with pizza and Italian dishes. Guests can also enjoy on-site canoe and bicycle rentals, as well as a children’s playground and BBQ facilities. Sigdal Museum is 10 minutes’ drive away and Blåfarveverket Museum is 20 minutes away by car. Common area activities include hiking, fishing and horseback riding.
Pros: Very nice cabin with great interiors. Was allowed to bring my allergy-friendly small dog which was much appreciated.
Pros: We stayed in the family cabin - which was in wonderful condition, clean, and sized just right for our family of six. It had a kitchenette, bathroom, and fireplace in addition to a table and seating areas. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The pizza at the restaurant is wonderful.
Cons: There is limited/no cell service in the area so you are reliant on their wifi, which we were able to pick up in the cabin (free in the restaurant). Certainly not a deal-breaker, and possibly really a positive, other than limited bandwidth for one of our kids to get some school work done.
Pros: Very nice people running the place. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the peaceful night.
Pros: Lovely location and accommodation. Staff really helpful and pizza very tasty.
Pros: Great beds, cabin was great
Pros: It was our first time in an Mongolian tent and it was very interesting. It was well furnished and had all that we needed. We were in a quite area of the camping and had a terrace that had a lovely view, we slept very well.
Cons: On departure you had to clean the tent yourself otherwise there was a cleaning fee of 40 euros even though we only stayed one night! Luckily we are not messy people. Bedding was also extra.
Pros: Nice place, good food
Cons: Wifi was a pain

Pros: The staff were lovely and the room was nice
Cons: The tv didn’t work very well (I think there may have been something wrong with the aerial), the breakfast was nice but a little more limited than other hotels on our trip
Cons: The road to Norefjell was the worst ever.
Pros: Nice and quiet place to stay overnight. Good menu at the restaurant. Also, I love that they have a loft selling antique articles!
Cons: Some noise from the freezing compressor, or whatever it was, outside the window.
Pros: Everything was perfect
Pros: 20 min drive over the tops to Norfjell so well positioned for skiing but off the beaten track. Comfortable room. Good wifi and great restaurant with fab norwegian style buffet breakfast included.
Cons: Nothing. Lovely little boutique hotel.
Pros: The bedroom was very nice with a big private living room. Well decorated and the bed very comfortable. There was a design-antic shop in the 3rd floor which was opened in the evening. There are also lots of paintings for sale. The bed and breakfast was nicely decorated, and the rooms very typical, made of wood. The breakfast was good with fresh bread and home-made jam. It was very quiet.
Pros: Straff, food, common rooms, access to mountains, closeness to Oslo
Cons: Should have told us the two small dogs we brought had to stay inside room during whole stay and Bern more upbeat with cleaning of rooms
Pros: everything was perfect. very characterful building, tastefully and comfortably refurbished, with the history of the building explained. Very warm welcome and lovely to be able to have an evening meal there after a long drive.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing, cannot say enough nice words about the bread that they bake several types of themself. The room was very cosy and romantic. Its 20 ish min from Norefjell and is located in a nice village. They made a big breakfast buffet only for us on Monday morning which was very sweet.
Cons: The shower in the executive suite kept sliding down, and it was too much noise from some engine or aggregate outside room. The staff went a long time without looking at you when you wanted to order. It was very dangerously slippy outside, should been salted or gravelled. The dinner ended too early on Sunday
Pros: Wonderful staff, clean and comfortable accommodations, excellent breakfast and dinner! It is in a quaint small town with a grocery, church, and TI very near the B&B. Loved it here!
Cons: Nothing, it was wonderful!

Pros: View from the room was super nice ! We enjoyed it when having dinner and breakfast from the terrace as well. Additional great plus: in the camping area there is a nice beach and kids playground , in combination with warm weather all shaped a perfect evening )
Cons: It was tricky to understand where to register - apparently , reception is at the restaurant cash desk. There are no signs (at least not in English) and it took us a while to get proper advice as it was busy in the restaurant
Pros: Nice view and good restaurant, friendly people
Pros: Location, view, proximity of restaurant
Cons: Room was tiny, twin beds were way too small, weeds outside the window blocked any view
Pros: The perfect lakeside location and glorious views decided us on this hotel for our first night in Norway. It's an easy 90 minute drive from Gardemoen airport and after 24 hours of travelling from Australia it was wonderful to relax in a homely environment. Our spacious room was comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean, with an excellent - and very modern - bathroom and shower. The hotel isn't new, but the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The glassed-in restaurant offers hearty food and spectacular views.
Pros: Great place to finish off before the flight home .Nice people lovely food and senery to go with it well done.
Pros: Excellent views of the lake and scenery. Easy access to the ski hill. Fair size room, newly refurbished to a good standard.
Cons: Beds were comfy but very thin, even by single standards.
Pros: Motel is located near beautiful lake. We booked a family room with a lake view with large comfortable bed. Breakfast with fresh orange juice was delicious
Cons: Clean at first glance, however we found some hair in the shower after previous guests
Pros: The view of the lake from terrace was amazing!
Cons: The air conditioner condensers installed on the wall close to my room were a bit too noisy. I had to put on noise cancelling headphones to enjoy sitting on terrace. Couldn't hear that noise in my room fortunately.

Pros: The spa was amazing
Cons: The alacarte resturant was too noicy because of we were inn a small closed room with kids. Just what I needed a break from
Cons: Diner in the restaurant
Pros: Fantastic tasty food, lovely ambience
Cons: Prices at the bar we're very expensive
Cons: Room, the floorboards needed attention Extra 350krona for access to hot tubs outside???? Ridiculous when spent too much on a room which needed the floor re laid. Communal areas looked like they needed cleaned, particularly the carpets.
Pros: Looking for a relaxing, sporty and romantic trip w/ my boyfriend, we found more than what we expected. With a wonderful staff, big range of breakfast options to start the sport day with a lot of energy and a really clean and comfortable room, we say that we did find a piece of Paradise in Norway. The ski rental staff are very helpful and nice as well, providing us tips and the best options considering our profile and skiing history. Also, we had a tiny problem with our heater, and in the middle of the night the receptionist came with a new portable heater, blankets and was really concerned about our well-being, demonstrating serious work effort and client focus. I would unquestionably recommend Norefjell to my family and friends in Brazil and in Denmark. I can´t wait to return someday and experience once more this lovely and welcoming place.
Cons: Maybe there could more dining options, a variety of culinary and prices.
Pros: Rooftop spa, ski slopes.
Cons: The restaurant. Not much choice. Same menu most nights.
Pros: The food and the staff were all incredible. If you love the outdoors the hotel is in an amazing location!
Cons: It was quite expensive.
Pros: The facilities were fantastic, very helpful , friendly staff , great location on the ski slopes.
Cons: The buffet was expensive . We would have liked more affordable meal options esp for the teenagers.
Pros: The room was fantastic with balcony, kitchen, bath and extra kids room. Home from home.
Cons: Evening meal was a bit pricy and not best value for money
