Pros: The cottage was very clean and well kept. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable and made for a difficult sleep.
4.2 Okay
Pros: We just needed a stop off point for one night on a longer trip.It was convenient for that. What facilities there were were clean.
Cons: There was no shower, so you only had the choice of the dated two person bath in the lounge.... The TV is ancient. The kitchenette is a windowless box. The door opens onto the parking lot as a lot of motels do so anyone parking there shines light straight into your room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So private and peaceful! Love the privacy of the little back yard with covered deck! So perfect!
Cons: There was nothing to not like!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed at this property twice and both times have been an absolute delight. The cabin was cozy with a functional kitchen. Upon arrival staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and not overpriced for the portions we received. There is a patio attached to the front of each cabin which is lovely for watching the sunrise and sunset. The perfect retreat for s relaxing holiday!
Cons: the water temperature in the shower wasn’t consistent

Pros: Very warm in a gold day. Old fashioned charm. Strong hot shower and a great bath.
Cons: Some weird howling around the train noise during the night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food at the restaurant (lunch and dinner only) was great and the cabins were very cozy and rustic. We had a lovely soak in our rooms Jacuzzi tub.
Cons: Our room was right on the main road. I would have selected one of the cabins in the back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: very clean, had everything we needed. We had a small campfire, very quiet, and peace.

Pros: Quiet and rustic
7.5 Good
Pros: Unwelcoming.Host, Bill, went out of his way to make one feel as if he did not want them there from his greeting of ‘isn’t there someone else to check you in?’ to his turning on lawn mower and weed wackier at 7am outside your door, then walking by as you were sitting out front frowning at you to finally sitting right out front of your door and smoke repeated cigarettes. This man should never be in the hospitality business as he views it a burden. We loved the building, location and 1950’s decor. Room was clean but nothing good can ever make up for an unwelcoming demeaned. By the way, restaurant next door is perfect and a real back road gem.
Cons: Inhospitable host
7.5 Good
Pros: The food in the restaurant on site was exceptional! Definitely tasted like home-made. Restaurant staff also friendly and informative about nearby events and places to see.
Cons: Considering the price, not much could have been improved.
