7.0 Good
Pros: Good location near the intersection of two major highways.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was great, pillows awesome. Great breakfast selections, different each day. Coffee exceptional. Service outstanding, had to copy and fax some paperwork, they made it very easy. If staff didn't know they got someone who could help. Cleaning staff very helpful, provided anything we asked for. Very nice stay, would definitely stay again.
Cons: Not a thing.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was clean, comfortable beds and well appointed. Nice facilities updated.
Cons: The walls appear to be thin as we heard our neighbours cell phone at 4:30 a.m. Typical of all chains wish the coffee tasted like coffee and tired of the "powdered scrambled eggs".

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great bed great shower
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was very quite, being so close to the interstate. The breakfast were very good most days, except one morning there wasn't any fruit and things were well picked over. There could have been more offered.
Cons: Slamming doors and children running the halls, but that people not the hotels fault.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible rooms.very spacious and incredibly clean. Perfect for a weary traveler but definitely not a destination place if you want close restaurants or other activities. Bring food if you stay.
Cons: Location is terrible. Ugly and not close to anything. Bulldozed fields of weeds. Not a destination at all. Ugly view from balcony. Staff ignored me at checkout. Loud drunk partiers seem to proliferate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nice modern hotel right off the interstate.
Cons: Hotel is only a few years old and unfortunately it is not being kept up. Bad carpet staining, tiles missing in pool/hot tub, plywood nailed to ceiling above hot tub. Breakfast left a lot to be desired.
6.3 Good
Pros: Being able to come down for a breakfast each morning and staying in a comfortable room were the highlights of the Garland. THe young lady working the front desk on our first night was accommodating.
Cons: We did not like the cleaning or lack there of in the rooms. The staff was not very friendly either; they acted as if it killed them to speak to their guest. When we arrived our room had a bug and flies and the shower was disgusting; we asked to be moved. The young lady at the front desk was accommodating and put us in a new room. Our second room was better....It seems the Wifi only works on the first two floors. We were on the third floor and the service did not work. The young man working the desk when we checked in and when we checked-out seemed preoccupied with something in the "Staff Only" office. ON both days (we stayed Sunday to Friday) he left the front desk and we had to wait 3-5 minutes for him to return and do his job.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, nice hotel.
Cons: Shower water pressure not the best.

7.5 Good
Pros: Staff was courteous. Location was also good.
Cons: Comforter had hole in it. There were spiders in the room, and towel bar in bath was broken. Shower had no pressure at all. Expected better for the price paid.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Beautiful modern hotel
Cons: advertised as having indoor and outdoor pool. There is NO OUTDOOR POOL and the indoor was closed for maintenance. Disappointing when swimming was the only reason for booking hotel 15 min away. Hotel not willing to do anything about the inconvenience.

My family had 5 rooms for the weekend as we were there for 2 grad parties from out of state. All the younger kids had a great time in the pool. The only bad thing and I hate to mention it is the water has a sewer smell to it, but that could be no fault of their own. I believe its the city water there.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, good neighborhood, close to restaurants and shopping, excellent breakfast. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe staying at this hotel.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location to restaurants and stores. Easy on and off interstate.
Cons: NA
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Staff was very polite but my wife got in the tub to take her shower and the tub stopped up and she was standing in close to knee high water.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, comfy beds
Cons: Overpriced!!!!!!!!! Breakfast selection poor-no fruit left and no yogurt
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice setting and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of choices and what i ate was delicious. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: The room could have had cleanier floors in bathroom and behind doors.
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was great. Hot and cold items available.
Cons: That there were little cockroaches and one big one crawling around on the night stand between the beds. I alerted the front desk. She said she would send someone up to spray. I don’t know if she did or not since I was going to the pool area. But I didn’t smell anything when I went back up to my room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, especially the bathroom which appeared to be recently remodeled. The location was easy to access. The people were friendly and the breakfast was one of the best I have seen.
Cons: The parking lot had limited space for guest parking because the snow from the previous day had yet to be removed. I had to walk through a pile of snow and slush to reach the hotel. When I walked in the door there were three people at the front desk, two on computers and one on the phone. One girl on the computer finished what she was doing and walked away. The other girl kept working and never looked up. The person on the phone turned out to be the manager who apologized for making me wait. I stood there for three full minutes before anyone acknowledge my presence and would have stood there even longer if the manager hadn't finished her call. It turned out she was on the phone trying to get the snow cleared in the parking lot. Irregardless not acknowledging a customer is inexcusable, especially from the person who just walked away. At least acknowledge your customers! I was considering walking out but I would have gotten charged for my room.
4.2 Okay
Pros: We generally like Hampton Inn for its overall pleasant atmosphere and value. The breakfast was good.
Cons: We were initially told WIFI wasn't working, only to find, on our own, that it was. The TV signal was intermittent and pixilated. The toilet ran continually during our entire stay. Place had not been cleaned properly. There were marks from glasses of previous guests on the nightstand. Hallways were extremely cold. Ice makers only on 1st and 3rd floors, and the one on the third floor was not working. Cost was much higher than at similar Hampton Inns in surrounding towns. In the evening, we found that coffee in the lobby was cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy access, restaurants nearby, clean, friendly staff & great breakfast!
Cons: N/A
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, pleasant/helpful staff (especially Rebecca), location, large bfast room with tv for daytime lounging. Sharon was quick to comp one night of our stay for room defects.
Cons: Sticky tile, immediately remedied when brought to attention of staff. Bathroom ceiling leak, so had a bucket on floor for 2 days. Noisy drive-through for restaurant next door outside window. Couldn't close the bathroom door.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: location, not much else.
Cons: room less quality than competition days before and after, lack of features inside room. temperature control poor, too hot to sleep comfortably. Walls have no sound barrier, room next to pool; it was like being in a lounge chair at the pool. A group was in the pool screaming and playing all night, impossible to sleep at all. Finally at 11:30pm, I complained to the front desk; woman didn't care, was rude, stated they could use pool until midnight. Swimming may be okay, but constant screaming and keeping other paying guests from sleeping is unacceptable. Over-priced, rude, uncaring staff, not same quality as other Hamptons or nearby competition. NEVER go back there!

Pros: Bit of a hidden gem, but well worth finding. Allison is a wonderful hostess; we were impressed with all of the nice touches, as well as the super-delicious breakfast. Genuine hospitality, and not intrusive. Enjoy!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostess (Ali) was an exceptional cook and very polite and courteous in all respects. The property was abundantly outfitted with swings ,a hammock for two, screened porch ,gathering areas ,gazebo, etc. for convenient relaxing and conversing with other guests.
Cons: Nothing was objectional.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, most unique place. Lovely hosts
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were 3 mature women who have never stayed at a B&B. Our hostess, Alli, was fantastic! ANYTHING we needed she would do her best to help us. A very clean, eclectic, older, charming house. Even the owners pets were fun: 2 cats (Toby & Oreo) and a bulldog (Sissy, who loves to have her back scratched). The breakfasts were excellent. They offer an optional dinner; DO IT! It was exceptional. We missed evening tea & dessert, but I’m sure it was great. We were exhausted by our travels around Dresden and retired early. Overall; great hostess, nice house, very clean, fine food IMO, huge yard, quiet, cozy. Only problem? Stairs to 2nd floor. Not the owners fault. Our fault for being out of shape!
Cons: Just the stairs up to the room. Not their problem - my problem. I am so out of shape!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you're looking for a great place look no further as you will not be disappointed! Amazing breakfast and evening desserts! Marin is an exceptional chef! Alli is so nice and accommodating! Such a quaint, cozy atmosphere with a warm and inviting fireplace in the living area which myself and daughters hung out quit a bit. I truly hated to leave!
Cons: I had to get used to the bed, but the 2nd night was much better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting is peaceful. We had the optional dinner when we arrived and it was exceptional. After a long day of traveling it was so nice to relax on the porch and be served dinner. The food was excellent!
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very sufficient value. Location excellent to routes and restaurants/shopping if one wanted. Could use a tree or two out front in parking lot, but that's all black topped and just a preference for glam and shade. Enjoyed our stay of one night after a wedding. Thank you.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved the onsite restaurant and the lobby area. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our hotel room. The lake was gorgeous!
Cons: The rooms could stand some updates. We were here 24 years ago for our honeymoon and they look the same. The lodge itself is beautiful though!

Pros: We enjoy the breakfast; however, the service was a bit slow.
Cons: We expected the King Room to be a bit bigger and have a fridge.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Just wished they updated rooms for phone chargers
4.5 Okay
Pros: The coffee at breakfast, the pool
Cons: I checked into your hotel on Friday evening with my husband and four children. After we got all settled in, my son laid down on the bed, grabbed a pillow and a cockroach landed on his face and onto the bed. I put it in a cup, grabbed the other pillows that were on the bed and saw two more scurrying across and down by the headboard. I took the roach that I caught in the cup and took it to the front desk and told them I wanted another room. The manager (I don't remember her name) said "oh, its just a wood roach." I told her I don't care what kind of roach it was, I wanted another room. She told me there were no more rooms available and that since we're on the 1st floor, bugs do come into the rooms or in with other people. I told her to take it home and she could sleep with it then. A girl who was sitting on the floor behind the desk tried to make a suggestion to her and the manager raised her voice to her in front of me and pretty much told her to shut up, she'll take care of it but not those exact words but that is how I translated it. She still claimed there were no rooms available and she could not help me. I told her we had no other place to stay and that I was there to enjoy a relaxing weekend with my kids and that my husband was there for the Deerassic Classic. She was not being very empathic about the situation and told me she might be able to get me a room for the night but not for Saturday night and that she see what she could do and call me. I went back to my room, packed everything back up, went down to the front desk about 20 minutes later because I never received a phone call. When I got down there, another girl smiled at me and said she was able to get us another room for both days on the 3rd floor and that we shouldn't have any issues. How did we go from not having any rooms available to having a room in a matter of 20 minutes? Is it because she didn't want to give us the upgraded room?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is an absolute gem. The staff was so kind and welcoming. The location is incredible, views are unreal. Very quaint, very quiet. We stopped here on a whim while driving back through to Maryland, and we’ve decided we will return here every year. We were only able to stay one night but I would have loved an entire week of this amazing place. If you have the chance to spend some time here, you absolutely should. Thank you Salt Fork Lodge for an incredible experience!!!!
6.8 Good
Pros: Beautiful setting with a beautiful view of the lakes and woods from our room.
Cons: We stayed on Thanksgiving night. Because of the holiday, the dining options were different than the standard availability. However, the staff was very unsure & unclear about what was available. In addition, the website wasn’t clear the options either. Regarding the layout of the lodge: signage needs to be improved. We walked round & round and opened doors unnecessarily. Please, either provide a map to each guest or have maps posted.

Pros: This hotel is spacious and solidly constructed - so very quiet and restful. We loved the lay-out of our suite, with a bedroom on either side of a kitchenette and bathroom. The whirlpool bath was lovely! Everything in the suite was very clean.
Cons: We did not like the tv on during breakfast. We were there to spend time with each other, not listen to the latest news about some pop star performing with a live snake, etc. (Who cares?) The tv was loud and interrupted our nice breakfast together.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk clerk was very informative about the area, truly helped our overnight get-a-way much more enjoyable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast; good, hot food! REAL butter to go on delicious wheat toast. The only thing that wasnt impressive was the fake oj. It was an orange drink and def not orange juice.
Cons: The lady doing breakfast was hobering over the dining area the entire time which made one feel like you were being eyeballed while eating. We tipped her anyway because she did a good job with food prep.

Cons: The pool was not clean. Granted that it was an outdoor pool, there are bound to be things in the water. But it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for awhile. The bottom of the pool was green, and there was a scum film across the top of the water.

Staff were friendly, room was clean and had all the things you need for a night or two. Definitely nothing to complain about.

Pros: We received a warm welcome at this independent quirky hotel. I heard lots of the rooms were renovated. Ours were not, unfortunately. We enjoyed the furniture - it was retro and interesting. And the price was good. Beds were comfortable. Sheets were clean.
Cons: The rooms could have been cleaner. Both rooms smelled a bit musty. There was a dirty washcloth in the bathroom, hanging over the shower curtain rod. There was hair on the washbasin countertop and candy wrappers under the bed. The formica in the bathrooms was peeling and didn't seem very sanitary. And the water pressure in the shower was pretty weak.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Bed too small .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: No breakfast. Coffee. The place is older but is very clean

Cons: Shower water controls
9.3 Excellent
Pros: After over a year of staying at motels across the country, from RI to WA, this stay was my favorite. Hard to choose a single reason, it's more just an overall feeling... the safest, happiest, most comfortable stay away from home I've ever paid for.
5.0 Okay
Pros: staff unfriendly. sad little place. served its purpose as a cheap overnight stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very clean and spacious. Check-in process is easy and quick. Owners/employees are very friendly. Lots of parking right at your room. All ground floor units, so no climbing stairs. Will stay here again.
Cons: A blanket in the room would have been nice. In fairness though, we did not ask for one. We did not return to room from our concert until late, and did not want to bother/wake reception for such a minor issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big room, great shower, very friendly service.
