7.5 Good
Pros: See above. Nice food in a restaurant with a welcoming ambiance. Our room was comfortable and spacious.
Cons: We had a nice room in the main building having rejected a less attractive room in the annex some 200 yards away. If you want to be near bar and restaurant make sure you book in the main building. By the way, it was impossible to get the kettle in the annex room under the tap in the bathroom. Apart from these comments we had an enjoyable stay.
4.6 Okay
Cons: Carpet needs replacing. Walls in the bathroom were all stained from a water leak. Mattress on double bed super hard.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about the Old White Hart. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was amazing. Very glam. Shower was great and towels fresh. A very comfortable night. I went for the cooked breakfast which I thought might be overpriced at £15, however - I was wrong. Delicious and worth every penny. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: The room was in a cottage well away from the pub(wasn't expecting this) with no Wi-Fi or 4G, which made working impossible. Pros: The room was part of a terrace of converted cottages in the heart of the village adjacent to the main building. The bathroom was beautiful and the small touches ,such as the shortbread and a ‘teddy bear ‘ were lovely.

Cons: Everything was clean, tidy and homely...
5.4 Okay
Pros: The views are beautiful
Cons: Very dated looking though room was clean. Staff seemed very put out if you asked for anything. Food menus were specific to certain parts of the room eventhough everything cooked by the same kitchen. Hot tub, sauna and steam room quite small and also dated. Rokm was sold as deluxe but it was quite small as was the bed.

Pros: A warm welcome at Barnsdale Hall, a comfortable and cosy room, good food and leisure facilities, we hope to visit again soon.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for all of the activities on Rutland water and surrounding villages. The 22 meter pool is brilliant. Our meal in the restaurant was first class and the staff were courteous, knowledgeable and very professional.
Cons: Lots of steps up to the restaurant, bar and leisure facilities But a lift is available

Pros: Everything
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The main manor house accommodation in which we stayed was comfortable, quiet and looked the part. The views over the reservoir are really good and the grounds are nice. The buffet style breakfast was tasty and the staff very helpful with outside seating to enjoy the views over Rutland water.
Cons: The main reception is in the manor House but that's it - no bar, no food (apart from that which was in the room), not even a coin operated machine. The bar and breakfast facilities are further up the hill across the car parking area and up a steep flight of stairs (outside) and along a short road. On the second evening of our stay the bar had no ale (none on tap or bottled though they did have lager) with the bar staff saying that the wedding reception taking place further up the hill had taken all their stock. The coffee, available in the bar, was also so strong and bitter as to be undrinkable (though that could have been down to the inexperience of that particular bar staff member). The bar area itself resembled an airport lounge although those are usually better stocked.

Pros: Stayed overnight on our way north to Scotland for a family event. Because of time pressures, we arrived late and left early, so my review is a little limited. However, our room was clean and comfortable with all the standard facilities including coffee/tea making etc. The hotel is part of a golf complex, so we had a nice view over the golf course and ponds as we woke and showered. Convenient location, just off the A1.

Cons: Room totally overlooked from car park which was higher than hotel room window!! Had to have blind down entire time in room!! Very disappointing when you consider the lovely setting of the hotel.

6.3 Good
Pros: Evening meal excellent and staff very helpful.
Cons: Unable to operate heating in room. Unable to have natural ventilation over night(room 6) as there are no openable windows. Poor bathroom layout so no knee room in front of wc, also no shelving/storage area in bathroom. Disappointing breakfast, no fresh fruit as advertised and had run out of orange juice when we had breakfast at 8am. Breakfast available 7-10am.Dis

Cons: Poached eggs over cooked and a squeaky bed but all sorted thumbs up xx

Cons: Can’t think of anything.

Cons: Not the easiest place to park, but I was worried about leaving my car on public car park so one of the chefs moved so I could park on hotel grounds

Pros: Beautiful rooms, super clean. Location was great , you're on the High street. Food amazing & great choice of drinks. Staff excellent .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and the bed comfortable
Cons: It would have been better to have s curtain on the roof windows as when it got light in the morning it flooded the room and woke us up
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully decorated, clean, lovely staff, delicious breakfast
Cons: The mattress. This was literally the only negative thing about our stay, but an important factor. It was thin and you could feel the springs - could do with an upgrade. Once that’s done, perfection and fantastic value for money! Will definitely stay again if the mattress is updated
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Non applicable really.
