Mother-in-law & I were in a room for the disabled. It was obviously not put together with input from a handicapped person. But it was clean, quiet and comfortable.
Staff cleanliness all good.
Overpriced restaurant and bar
The staff was very helpful and friendly and the location was perfect for our stay.
Unfortunately, we had to pay for parking when we stayed.
I'm a heavy sleeper but the wafts of cigarette Smoke from the other rooms was pretty bad. How about having smoking floors and non smoking floors like every other hotel? Instead they have smoking rooms next to non smoking rooms.
Affordable, helpful airport shuttle, friendly staff, comfortable, clean.
Free breakfast does not start until 7:30, well after we had to leave for the airport.
I loved my window, it opened all the way! I loved sun bathing on the little balcony. The bed was awesom and well the room all together was great. Even one of the elevators was super fast, that was awesome.
The staff was rude, they would give uncomfortable stares. I would call to communicate my arrival in the lobby, for payment. And even after they would act clueless. In my opinion if somebody has been staying there for 5 days + you should not be such a jerk.
Front desk staff was very friendly
Room smelled like smoke! Bed was very hard.
Location and Rooms were nice.
The staff was terrible . I spent a total of 5 1/2 of my trip dealing with the front desk over the rooms. I talked too 9 different people in total and only 2 actualy had a clue what was remotely going on. I was one of many guests having the same problems for the 3 days I was there. The parking is very small for a large location also. It does no good to have nice rooms when you are unable to actually check in to them ....
Carmen at front desk was very rude to me. I called for the shuttle, after the A's game, and it took much longer than front desk had indicated. When I called and talked to Carmen (spelling may be wrong), she eventually hung up on me.
Windows that open, free shuttle.
Traffic noise, not much around to do/eat.
Balcony was nice; not much of a view, but not sure they could do much about that.
No water pressure on the top floor for the shower. Was supposed to be queen beds, but turned out to be doubles (didn't catch that as we went into the room, only noticed as we got ready for bed).
Extremely pleasant staff. Very helpful and courteous. Clean room, good bedding. Quick access to/from OAK airport. Not the fanciest place in the world, but a great value for the money. Highly recommended if you need a layover room.
