Pros:The fact that we could get to the beach quick.
Cons:The view front was a lie. The advertising was miss leading.
Pros:Ice cold room
Cons:No ironing board. Plus they wanted me to walk there to get the iron. 250 a night for dingy white towels. Come on this is the United States.
Pros:The hotel was very clean for a budget motel. It was Sunfest weekend, so it was tough to get a place to stay since we didn't book until a couple weeks before. Thunderbird had some rooms and it was within a block of the beach. Since it had pretty good reviews, we decided to go there. It is an older motel, but we were happy with the cleanliness and the beds were comfortable. It isn't a huge room, but it was adequate and had a table, chairs, fridge and microwave. We didn't use the pool since it was a pretty cool weekend, but there is an outdoor pool. Oh, there is a bathroom and a shower that can be used after you check out if you want to go to the beach past check out time. Nice feature!
Cons:The staff were, for the most part, friendly. And they let us in our room very early, so we can't complain about that. The person who was on staff on Sunday-it wasn't that she wasn't helpful- it was that she could have been a bit more pleasant and put on a smile- that is always nice! Other than that, nothing really bothered us.
Pros:This motel was perfect for a short weekend in OCMD. It was only a few hundred feet from the beach and a few blocks from the boardwalk! Motel was clean and staff was very friendly.
Cons:Motel needs to be updated. Beds were okay but not very comfortable. Showers need to be fixed, they went from extremely hot to freezing the whole time someone took a shower. Other than those few things, it was great. We had an amazing time.
