Pros: The Inn is very centrally located in Ocean Isle, right after you come across the bridge onto the barrier island and near the pier. It is right on the beach and an ocean front room has a fantastic view and a decent sized balcony. Room was spacious and included a microwave and good sized refrigerator under the "wet bar sink" with a large counter that was handy. Everything was clean and bright. A little bonus: we saw several weddings on the beach at the Inn and at the public access area/"chapel" next door.
Cons: There was only one elevator for the several buildings (connected by breezeways), so we were climbing stairs to the top floor many times -- but that was good for us :) If this is a problem for someone though, they should request being near the elevator.
The breakfast room was large and clean, but the premade breakfast sandwiches to "nuke" weren't the best ever. All was ok.
And I'm not sure how much less non ocean-view rooms were, and the view out that way to the bridge was pretty nice, but if you are coming to the beach, pay the difference to see the ocean IMHO
Pros: Nice location. Decent off season price. Nice staff.
Cons: Refrigerator didn't work. Called but maintenance never came to the room (they told office they did but did not). Deadbolt wouldn't work. Dated decor but that wasn't an issue. Very poor wi-fi signal.
Pros: Location and value are excellent, especially in the off season.
Cons: TV reception was poor, bed was a little soft.
Pros: The best part was sitting on the balcony, enjoying the ocean view.
Cons: The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The problem for us is that we were in building six and the elevator was in building two. We had the option of either walking through four buildings to get to the elevator, or going down several flights of stairs. All the while carrying our beach gear. It was awkward at best, and exhausting at worst. I think for younger people who don't mind the stairs, this Motel is a great choice. But for us retired folks, it required a lot of walking carrying our beach gear.
Pros: great location and value being on the beach
Cons: we stayed in an ada room and the bathroom could use some updating in the sink/vanity area to make it more accessible.
Pros: Great location. Oceanfront, attentive owners.
Cons: Parking was not very good. Also, we stayed in the same building with the office, and the WiFi was sporadic at best. Would be unusable in further buildings.
Pros: Location, parking, pools. Great location on the beach even though our room was across the street. The website doesn't tell you that is a possibility until you show up.
Cons: Air conditioner was a wall unit and extremely noisy. Between the air conditioner which had to run all day and the loud dehumidifier it was noisy all day and worse, all night. It made it hard to sleep and if we turned it off the room heated up. The unit was up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator. The bathroom was small too. I suspect they were older units that had been renovated as much as they could. Fortunately we were out a great deal of the day.
Cons: Pool areas could use sprucing up, but room was lovely and staff superb!!! Nice breakfast buffet!
Pros: Staff at the front desk is a treat!! She was professional and exuded a great attitude combined with customer service:)
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: Booked two rooms and they were not close to each other at the resort
Pros: Room was very nice and the location was great. Most everyone was very friendly and accommodating once we finally got checked in.
Cons: Our room was not ready when we arrived, we did not get into the room until after 4:30
Pros: The hotel grounds was to die for. Very quiet. It made you feel at home and safe to walk around.
Cons: The furnishings were old but manageable. I'de try staying in a villa next time.
Pros: Activity center
Cons: Size of the beds
Pros: The only good thing about this hotel is they location. Very close to the beach. Otherwise the hotel itself was awful. The beds were not even screwed to the headboard. Decor and furniture was very old. Would not recommend.
Cons: Other than the location there was nothing to like about this hotel. The rooms were really old and outdated
Pros: The location is great- and the onsite restaurants and all other amenities are a super bonus!
Cons: Our room wasn't ready at our already late check In time of 1600 -told us to come back in a hour or so- that's pretty inconvenient considering we'd already been waiting a long day along with traveling - then get there and no room (no apologies either)
Pros: Clean and location was great for working. Near a lot of great restaurants. Not close to beach if you are looking for that, it was on a golf course.
Cons: The check in girl was weird, not a warm fuzzy greeting. The maid that knocked on our door was nice but ever brought us back soap and bath towels. There was no room number on the door. You could hear everything above us, big foot walking.
Pros: Room were spacious that is the positive thing about the whole hotel which i expected and it was.
Cons: Many things i did not like. 1. Last century amenities 2. No proper room service 3.From night lamp to bathroom drain did not work. 4.Sanyo CRT TV really for a 3 start hotel who charges excess of $---per night and none of the drawer were easily close-able?
Pros: For what we paid and how the pics looked online I didn't expect much but I was surprised how beautiful it was down to the entrance and keep of the whole resort. The room we got was amazeing fully stocked with dishes beyond clean felt at home
Cons: Not much food places around.
Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful especially the woman who checked me in at the front desk. ...the proximity to the beach
Cons: The room was dated old furniture older TV. ..very small only 3'2 (if that large)...bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned ....found hair in tub
Pros: Very close to the beach. Lovely grounds.

Pros: The location was convenient to the beach, restaurants, and other activities.
Cons: WE were truly surprised when the room was entered, but not cleaned. Had to ask for soap and shampoo... whether or not the sheets are changed, it's a treat to have the bed made and tuck.
Pros: The pool and beds and shower was all amazing
Cons: Breakfast wasnt that great.. but was better than most other hotels
Pros: The free breakfast with eggs, bacon, and make-your-own waffles was the best thing about our stay.
Cons: Our room was directly by the elevator and was extremely noisy. Also, the clerk wanted my credit card so that I could be charged for 'incidentals'. Be sure to mention that you will not need the safe in the room, or you will have a charge for that.
Pros: Went to receptionist about a problem with air conditioning making a loud clanking noise and was asked if we wanted to check out!!!
Cons: Paid $--- + tax for 1 night, ended up sleeping in my car because air conditioner was so loud we couldn't sleep. Was told no smoking but their were cigarette burns on curtains. Shower curtain rod broken so floor flooded when using it.
Pros: Staff, Price, Location
Cons: Pillow smelled like a sweat. I started to carry my own pillow since.
Pros: Easy access from highway and not too far from beaches. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast included.
Cons: Old/outdated décor throughout and room smelled even though it looked as though it was cleaned pretty well.
Pros: Good friendly people and clean I think it was better than a two star place
Cons: My shower drained slow a little and another person had come to lobby ssaying her kmood. Was stopped up
Pros: Room was nice with refrigerator, bed was super comfy, AC worked as expected, hotel has an elevator now and that is a definite plus, front desk staff super friendly and helpful, pool was very nice, close to area beaches
Pros: The complementary breakfast was great! Waffles, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage links, yogurt, coffee, juice, cereal and as a diabetic I had plenty of options. The room was clean and modern. The staff was nice and met all our needs.
Cons: There was no AC in the elevator. The gym had to be opened by the clerk behind the desk and was very small and hot, but we were able to work out in complete privacy.
Pros: Great location. Breakfast was fine.
Cons: One desk clerk seemed like she didn't wat to be there.
