When you stay at Korona Boutique Hotel in East Mani, you'll be 13 minutes by car from Kelefas Castle. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Pros: Luxurious, quiet, the perfect place for a quiet night or 2 or 3! We loved everything about it from the room, the styling , colours, quiet location, it’s history , lovely caretakers who could not do enough , we were very spoilt. Beautifully arranged breakfast to order eggs made us feel very special . Thanks it was just what we needed after a 2 week road trip. The town itself was interest although quiet isolated ... richness of history in those cobbled streets so beautiful. Pack light we will be back and we definitely will! ❤️
Pros: Amazing place and even more amazing people working there! A real paradise.
Cons: Maybe a bit too expensive.
Pros: Everything, from the accommodation, to the hosts, to the location. Everything
Pros: Fantastic and rennovated old building managed by a great host like Mariaelena. Very classy, quiet and clean, breakfast is delicious including high quality local products . You are five minuts driving from the wonderful beaches of neo itilio e limeni bay but you stay in a tipiycal Village living real Mani experience. Thank u Mariaelena from the bottom of our hearts
Pros: There is no need to tell how beautiful Mani is. We stayed at Korona Boutique Hotel for one week in August, after a long drive across the Balkans. Located in the tiny village of Oytilo, where time seems to have stopped, Korona is a little gem. The hotel is composed by Mani’s typical towers made of stones, completely renovated while maintaining the traditional atmosphere. We enjoyed every single minute of our stay and it would have not been the same without Marielena and Tilemacos. We have never met such amazing hosts. They made us feel at home since day one- nourishing us with amazing breakfasts, advices on secret beaches, amazing snorkeling spots, typical restaurants and local stories & legends. They made our stay in Mani simply unique. We’ll come back for sure. Giulia&Konrad from Italy
Pros: The hotel is located in the picturesque village of Itilo. The architecture of the building is very nice, faithful to the traditional style of the Mani region. The rooms are modern and clean.
Cons: We booked two deluxe double rooms. Both rooms are small and have significant deficiencies that compromise comfort. In one room there is no armchair, so one has to either stand of lie on the bed. There is no boiler to make a cup of tea or coffee. There is no night table, or other similar surface, to place one's glasses and book before turning in. There are no curtains so that one has to either close the shutters completely and leave natural light out, or leave the shutters open and compromise privacy. Finally, the TV is placed on the side of the bed (instead of in front), which makes watching TV very unnatural. For the second room, two huge external A/C units are placed just outside of the door making a very disturbing noise.
With a stay at Kastro Maini in East Mani, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Kelefas Castle and Diros Caves. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This is a small family hotel just on the outskirts of downtown Areopolis (5 minutes leisurely walk), set in nice grounds. Driving down to Limeni took about 7-10 minutes. It had a beautiful pool with excellent pool furniture. Some snacks and lunch or dinner could be ordered and was served indoors, outdoors or by the pool, at your pleasure. The food was good. One evening, the owners arranged for a special night of entertainment with a small group of singers and players from Kalamata. Having dinner outdoors and listening to Greek music was a beautiful experience. The couple who own the hotel and their two sons were always present and eager to make everything possible for guests' well-being. It as a pleasure staying here.
Cons: Our room was positioned just next to a corridor door to some stairs that went outside so that everybody who passed had a good view inside the room. Because of this, we did not feel comfortable leaving the French doors of the room opened at night as we would have wished.
Pros: Nice Pool
Cons: Parts of the hotel are renovated, our room wasn‘t. Simple breakfast
Pros: Nice building on top location. Very helpfull staff. Breakfast good. excellent location to visir the Mali .
Cons: elevator. But staff was very helpful with the baggage.
Pros: By far the best 3 star hotel we stayed in during our 2-week Pelopennese tour. Balcony was huge with a fantastic view. Swimming pool was great. Breakfast in the morning was of good quality. Not far away from village.
Pros: Everything positive. Friendly staff. Nice swimming pool. Very clean. Good breakfast
Pros: Just on the outskirts of the od town and walking distance to the restaurants in the evening. Excellent breakfast and a nice pool area which we found a major plus after a day's sightseeing. Good onsite parking.
Cons: Generally all positive but one point to note in selecting a room is that a number of the superior rooms, which do have a sofa bed which can be used as seating if not required as a bed, are classed as having a mountain view. The view is of the mountain but you look across the flat roof of the restaurant with its protruding AC units and two roads. The balconies are very small with the external part of the AC unit mounted on the floor. Also there is no privacy from adjacent balconies. If you feel you want a nicer balcony go for the pool/garden view
When you stay at Itilo Traditional Hotel in East Mani, you'll be on the beach and 5 minutes by car from Kelefas Castle. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very rich breakfast, with fresh fruits, vegetables, sweets. Very good coffee. The view from the front of the hotel to the splendid sea. Very friendly host. We will come back.
Cons: The bathroom had some pieces of furniture that were not fastened properly.
Pros: Wonderful hotel, helpful personnel doing everything to make your journey a unique experience. Perfect place and location to spend a few relaxing days. Thank you Maria
Pros: clean room with a wonderful balcony. Staff were very nice and helpful. A large breakfast. A great place to come back to.
Pros: Location, facilities, very welcoming staff. 100% a place to recommend.
Cons: Probably the swimming pool needs a renovation but still worked well for us. Difficult to find anything else we didn't like though
Pros: Comfy bed, fluffy towels, nice toiletries and sophisticated bathroom decor. Our room was very spacious and had nice view of mountains and sea (with balcony). Local taverna a short walk away. Owner kindly arranged early breakfast (the full buffet) for us our last morning.
Cons: Not the hotel's fault, and perhaps we timed the tides wrong, but there was only one small pile of ?man-delivered sand on the beach. Otherwise it consisted of large stones and a lot of driftwood/empty plastic bottles, etc so made for a rather soulless sea-front experience. . We also had problems with the water temp, luke warm in the evening (though cranked up when we asked); stone cold our last morning. Clearly an on-going problem.
Pros: The rooms are new and spacious.
Cons: The beach in front of the hotel was ok. Nevertheless nobody seems to look after it. It was not completely clean.
Pros: This hotel was Amazing and sits in a Cove in Itilo which is like being in a different world. Superb room & balcony, Amazing bathroom and a fridge! Wonderful breakfast aswell! Itilo is a tiny place with our huge luxury hotel built across the road from the beach, and a couple of other restaurants and that is it, but when you are driving around the Peloponnese for 2 weeks and spending 1-2 nights in each place, Itilo is a great stop to sit and chill and sunbathe, and thankfully we were here for 2 nights, so it was very relaxing. Definately go to the Diros Caves while you are here. Can't wait to return to the Peloponnese and this hotel.
Cons: The only bad points to this hotel was that we had no hot water during our whole stay. We did mention to the manager after our first shower, and he did say that they had had some electrical fault, so he went to reset it??!!, but we still got no hot water?! Sunbeds need replacing aswell as a lot of them were broken.
Pros: Theo and his family could not have been nicer. The design and comfort were outstanding. The location, beautiful and peaceful, could not have been better. We can't wait to go again.
Pros: This is a family-run hotel with the owner to be a strong and distinct personality. Very hospitable. I liked the room comfort and the seaview that is fantastic. The breakfast was typical of the area. The region is nice while there are a lot of restaurants serving fresh fish. We strongly recommend it for vacations. We we goo again there.
Pros: Good location,on the beach.Recently renovated.
Cons: Not very clean ,there was mold odor in the room.Breakfast was poor. We did not see any other personel working ,just the owner and his 2 kids (about 10 years old!).The junior suite is as big as a normal room but with sea view, and still they charge that as junior suite. The area outside the hotel building is neglected.
Pros: This is a great brand new family hotel located not too far from the Diros caves & Mani. Theo is a great guy & hotel owner. Free parking, big rooms, good breakfast, great shower. Easy to find since its on the main road going from Aeropoli/Diros/Mani north to Kardamily / Kalamata.
Cons: Almost nothing to do in the tiny Itilo village itself so you may consider a hotel in nearby Aeropoli or Gythio. Also Aeropoli is closer to the Diros caves and Mani-Vathia (which is BTW a total waste of your traveling time, don't bother with it). The only negative thing is that the dinner was totally overpriced for what we got and not that tasty. I recommend eating dinner elsewhere.
Pros: Everything is very comfortably and traditionally designed. The location and the view are superb! Luxury in affordable price.
Cons: The breakfast although very delicious, did not had variety. The hot water was not hot enough...
Pros: The room was excellent, with very large balcony with a view to the sea. Even better, from the room we had, you could see the sea even when you were lying in bed. I also liked the fact that during breakfast they served home-baked bread, home made marmalade and eggs from their own chickens.
When you stay at Pirgos Mavromichali in East Mani, you'll be 10 minutes by car from Kelefas Castle. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
Pros: The location of the hotel is unbelievably beautiful. The owner / host Sakis is an excellent and gracious host. The setting of the hotel is stunning. Food and service is excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: No complaints
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel and was a very special stay. Everything is in excellent taste, with a relaxed and very friendly ambience. We loved the delicious breakfast and swimming in the stunning turquoise sea right next to the hotel. We hope to stay again.
Pros: We had an amazing time. The setting is unique. As is the concept of a non-public restaurant with an outstanding chef from Athens. Above all Sakis and Olga gave us a feeling of visiting friends. We'll come back in spring!
Pros: Perfect seaside location to sunbathe, relax, swim and enjoy the small village. Gorgeous views! Very friendly owners and staff. Delicious, local food - breakfast and dinner both absolutely wonderful!
Cons: Room and bathroom on the cozy side, but easily forgotten once you walk outside!
Pros: It is a little slice of paradise. The hotel has been renovated with exquisite taste. It sits on the edge of the clear turquoise water of Limeni bay. The staff are utterly charming and do everything they can to make your stay special. From the dining terrace you look out across the bay to magnificent skies and sunsets. The water below is crystal clear as well as shoals of fish, three turtles are regular visitors. The breakfasts are a real treat and the evening meals delicious. It is a place of warmth and tranquility which restores the soul. It is a special place in every way.
Pros: Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, beautiful setting, lots of information (books, documentation)
Cons: Limited breakfast, lack of electric connectors (none in the bathroom)
Pros: Everything was perfection
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like
Pros: Our stay was fantastic. The location, staff, food and overall ambience was brilliant. So good we are planning our return visit. The overall experience will stay with us for ever. Each day was like a day in paradise. Going to sleep listening to the sea underneath our bedroom. Looking at the sea turtles at breakfast etc. They have managed to pay attention to detail, keeping your stay relaxed, whilst you are attended to by very professional staff and yet you feel you have stayed in a Mani's family home. They have got the balance right. Well done.
Cons: It is the end of the season, so the sun is low but I would have liked if the sunbeds where in the sun more of the day. Even as a sun lover this did not dampen our fantastic experience.
Pros: The personal service level of the staff.
Cons: Parking along the road.
Pros: Our stay could not have been better! Everything was amazing: the food, the view, commodities... but the best surprise was the crew and the service offered. We really felt as we were in our own greek home. Thanks a lot!
Cons: Everything was perfect
When you stay at Limeni Village in East Mani, you'll be 8 minutes by car from Kelefas Castle. Featured amenities include luggage storage and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location, view, breakfast!
Cons: I liked just about everything.
Pros: Everything was exceptional. Beautiful hotel, amazing view, extraordinary breakfast, comfortable bed. This was a magnificent place which we will surely visit again. This view is unforgettable, can't really think of another hotel so perfectly situated.
Pros: Loved Limeni Village - great location, very comfortable room with stunning view. Friendly staff and easy parking.
Pros: Clean and super price in an absolutely picture perfect setting. Excellent restaurant on site. Be sure to take the walk down the cliff to the village. Photogenic at sunset.
Pros: The hotel is superb. Rooms are very comfortable and have great views on Limeni, a tiny port with amazing clear water. The only thing that could be improved would be the breakfast, even though it was good, it lacked a bit of choices.
When you stay at En Plo Luxury Suites in East Mani, you'll be in the historical district and 9 minutes by car from Kelefas Castle. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and express check-in. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Well appointed and finished to a high standard, friendly staff, we were really well looked after every day!. great breakfast with lots of options.
Cons: Not Much. the bed was a little firm
Pros: Very clean and comfortable with good breakfast and coffee. Great swimming pool. Staff were awesome. Could not have been more helpful
Cons: As with so many hotels that have beautiful rooms and facilities they are let down by bathrooms for dwarfs.
Pros: Ι have no words to describe my stay at en plo. The perfect spot in Mani. The view? Splendid. The swimming pool, so relaxing. The owners had built also a little beach between the rocks so we could jump in the crystal turquoise waters. Luxury, calm, service so good (never seen before, they came to clean 1 min after we went to breakfast and found new sheets and towels every day), super clean, the room very intelligently equipped, amazing breakfast. The ambiance was so good that everybody became friends. I would totally recommend it and I will dream all year, each day about going back there. The stuff was veeeery kind and hilarious and did everything to ensure an enjoyable stay. I have still the image of this magic place in front of me. Totally worths it, The"filoxenia" (=hospitality) of Mani at its best. Congratulations to the management, it was quite evident that very nice people own this place, competent and with experience in European civilized culture. Grab the book of Patrick li Fermor "Mani" and go there asap!
Cons: The heat. Be prepared to sleep with A/C during the summer. Be all day in the water, in the caves, sailing or chilling by the pool. Never experienced that.
Pros: 1) The convenient (and amazing) private access to the water below the rocky ledge. Being able to take a dip with ease was very important, and my parents who are a little older were easily able to get into the water via the access ladder. The pool was great too! 2) Wonderful staff, at all hours - especially breakfast. 3) Delicious breakfast assortment.
Cons: Pool hours, it would have been nice to take a night swim after sundown, but no biggie. I understand it must be closed for evening maintenance. It’s a great pool.
Pros: Delivered a totally relaxing stay with breathtaking views of the Kolpos and the most beautiful crystal clear water right on the doorstep to the hotel. A majestic area in mainland Greece.
Pros: Exceptional stay. The property was of high quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Lovely staff. All the rooms have private terrace. Easy access to go swimming in the sea (watch out for the sea turtles). Great local breakfast. Thank you En PLO
Cons: The bath/shower is a little small. Only a big shower would have been better! For tall people the beds are a little small too.
Pros: We had booked a basement suite with terrace/master bed room looking onto the sea and the Mani mountains. Other two beds where in the living room with kitchen. Hugh effort to create the hotel in the Mani style from stone. Very clean and well kept facility. Got excellent advice on my Mani and caves of Pirgos Dirou plans at the reception. One of the most beautiful breakfast places we ever had located outside close to the infinity pool with sea & mountain view. Buffet was available, and hot drinks from the friendly staff. Car parking close to the room very convenient. There is also a small concrete beach on the rocky shore which allows easy access to the sea for swimming. Quite deep water immediately but super clear. Some sailing and very large luxury motor yachts entered the bay for the night. A nice variety of restaurants and bars on the shore, one in walking distance, others a 5 min drive is recommended. We enjoyed one evening in the place called Bella Mani and another evening in one the fish restaurants close to the sea.
Cons: Masterbed room great, arrangement of beds for guest 3&4 less impressive considering the high level of the place. No complaint, but I would consider this a drawback when staying longer and also considering the price level.
Pros: The view is fabulous, and it is nice and peaceful. very nice property and a nice pool.
Cons: the sofabed was very hard, and the bathroom was a disaster, the breakfast was okay nothing special, the buffet was laying too long in the sun. poor menu
Located in East Mani, Pirgoi Edem is within a 15-minute drive of Diros Caves and Koita Towers. Featured amenities include laundry facilities and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful views from the balcony, very close to the shops and restaurants. Nice stuff.
Cons: Too high price, for small room in winter season (41 euros), but with breakfast (basic). Double bed just 140 cm. Very old, dirty pillows, old furniture. Hotel stands by very busy street.
Pros: The couple running the place are very nice and friendly. The location is super quiet with good views of the sunrise over the mountain. The room was cosy and comfortable. The reception and breakfast area is nice with a good fireplace.
Cons: Nothing, all was great
Pros: Great place to stay. Close to areopli. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Pet friendly rooms. Would stay there again. Very helpful staff. Thanks!
Pros: Beautifully remote, 5min drive to a village with supermarket, bakery, taverna and to the Diros caves. The complex looks like a medieval stronghold, also from the interior with natural stones and dark wood. You see sea and mountains from the terrace and are sorrounded by olive trees. The host was very friendly, prepared awesome breakfeast (even though we two were the only guests) which was served close to the fireplace and helped us with laundry. We were advised to explore the south of Mani which we did and trul recommend for spectacular landscapes and fish directly from the sea...
Cons: As we already knew, no Wifi in the room. Which was not missed at all.
Pros: Lovely room in the typical tower house of the Mani region. Very cozy and quiet (except for rustling trees and birds). A short drive off the main road, private parking.
Pros: The room was very clean. The hotel is located in a real castle, that makes the experience unique. The host, however, made us a small excursion around the hotel and showed the places around to visit. It was quiet there.
Cons: It was not easy to find the place, may be because we came in the evening and it was dark. In the room there was neither kettle, nor even glass to drink some water, not to mention some tea bags. These small things give a feeling that a host cares about you. There was no other place - neither the hotel, no an apartment - where there was no a kettle in the room.
Pros: The owners were fantastic.
Pros: It's a tradicional mani house, interesting to experience. If you are looking for peace and quite, this is the place
Cons: Out of sesason is very isolated and deserted. The room is a little cold. Bed not comfortable

Pros: The hotel has an excellent location for anyone visiting Areopolis. It was clean and our room was big and airy with views of the sea. The service was good and overall the stay was good value.
Cons: The only stumbling block was that our room was plagued with mosquitos which kept us awake all night.
Pros: good breakfast, nice location, spacious rooms, good service, clean rooms, nice cozy lounge
Pros: Breakfast is good and the staff is friendly.
Cons: The rooms needs some ‘refreshment’. Cold shower.
Pros: The staff were lovely
Cons: The details said there’d be a bath and there wasn’t - just a shower and it wasn’t particularly powerful
Pros: Great location, Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast with local products.
Pros: This is a great property all around (service, facilities, cleanliness) and is located right on the town square. Whether you want to relax at a cafe in town or explore the nearby region, this is likely the best option in terms of overall value.
Pros: The room was very clean and spacious. Extra comfortable bed and pillows. Definitely a value for money choice. Breakfast was very nice with local products. The hotel is central but quiet compared to the time of our travel (weekend and lent Monday).

Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything! Especially the breakfast! The buffet breakfast was amazing! From variety to freshness and great taste. The staff were very polite, knowledgeable and always available to assist. They had lovely manners and treated customers like friends and family instead of strange guests. The view from the pool and lounge area is incredible, especially during sunset. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.
Pros: Got the chance to be upgraded, very pleasant set out, very nice breakfast
Cons: The personnel is a bit stiff
Pros: A very stylish property with extremely comfortable rooms. The staff are very attentive and the reception warm and friendly. It was very relaxing around the pool and there is easy access to the sea across a pebble beach.
Pros: Hotel’s location is great. It is near Limeni and Aeropoli and in almost equal distance between North and South beach areas. There is a swimming pool which even if it’s small it offers a relxing time. Rooms are not modern but not bad at all. During our stay we took a very rich breakfast in an outer space near the pool under the shdow of trees.
Cons: There was a bad smell in the bathroom just for a short time.

Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Planning an event in East Mani? This hotel has facilities measuring 118 square feet (11 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The senior stuff was not so polite and they also didn't treat well to the younger employees.
Pros: Nothing not to like, fabulous boutique hotel.
Pros: Great position and view. Lovely rooms and pool area. Peaceful and quiet.
Cons: It was a long way from any alternative restaurants and we had to drive. Walking would be impossible. Evening meal menus very limited and not many people stayed in to eat. Service was slow and we had the impression that some of the staff were not very well trained. Little information about the local area available. The staff could have been more helpful with information and more passion about the hotel and the quite wonderful surrounding area which we found out for ourselves.
Pros: Boutique hotel perched above two towns in the Peleponnese. The hotel was new but had a lot of charm. Our room was very comfortable. We enjoyed staying by the pool after a day of exploring. The infinity pool offers a unique view of the bay. We looked forward to breakfast at this hotel too. A very relaxing and comfortable getaway overall. PS. The bathroom products were a nice touch.
Cons: No criticisms.
Pros: It was situated high up overlooking beautiful Neo itilo beach and limeni bay. The infinity pool was lovely with ample lounges and bar service from staff. The breakfast was plentiful with many choices. Staff were more than happy to go out of their way if you needed anything. Our room overlooked the water it was a peaceful and relaxing stay. You definitely need a car to get around.
Pros: Beautiful hotel and wonderful views. Very good breakfast.
Cons: Dinner - very disappointing .worst meal at our vacation .slow service, medium minus food and expensive
Located in East Mani, Sofia Areopoli is within a 15-minute drive of Kelefas Castle and Diros Caves. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice design of the room, location in the center of the town.
Cons: The owner simply forgot about our arrival, no one was waiting for us at the rooms, we had to call the owner and explain for a long time who we are and what we want. After that, he apparently remembered and came to settle us (despite the fact that the payment has been proceed immidiately after booking, he didn't forgot it. Room is very nice and clean, with big balcony, that you cann't use, because of horrible smell of meat and old butter from the restaurant on the groud floor. For the same reason you cann't open windows, only use aiк condition. Wifi connection is very very slow - despite the touter was under our door, it was working only if you sit down on the threshold of room or go to the staircase. I understand that in old houses it is a problem, by why write in the descritpion that you have wifi if it doesn't almost works? The room is well renovated, but there are many disappointing little things: doors opens with difficulty, the mosquito net is broken in the bathroom and the head of shower too. The availability of dish is not stated in the description, but in any hotel there are a couple of glasses for water or wine, and a couple of spoons. Not there. We travel a lot including Greece (it's my 8 time here) and I can say that the hotel doesn't worth its money.
Pros: Best location and the cleaners were so lovely. They would come everyday and make the beds and take the rubbish. Has a great sized courtyard at the back. Absolutely loved Areopolis!
Cons: Uncomfortable bed and the shower didn’t have a screen so water went everywhere when having a shower.
Pros: Great location
Cons: Too noisy
Pros: Great location and large private terrace.
Cons: Need to improve some of the facilities - had to buy a couple of glasses to enjoy a drink on the terrace, also a mirror in the bedroom and possibly a safe would make this accommodation better. Couple of Glasses/cups Mirror in bedroom Kettle
Pros: I and my husband enjoyed spending 3 days in the beautiful city of Areopoli, in the Mani Peninsula. The accommodation was more than we expected: a clean and very elegant room, a very comfortable bed, the place is just in the center, next to some good restaurants and bars. There are available parking places close to the hotel. The owner was very nice, he did not bother us at all, he was a very nice and kind person.
Pros: Location is wonderful as you're right above the old town restaurants and cafes. Very clean.
Cons: We would have liked a kettle and mugs to make tea/coffee. The roof terrace was nice but could have been made a lot more comfortable with some cushions for the two chairs and the old air/con or some machine that was left there wasn't very pretty.
Pros: The best location to stay in the city. Just in the center of everything! Thanks :)
Pros: The location is amazing
Cons: The room was a bit small. But it is ideal for a couple.

Pros: Excellent food, very beautiful landscape, very quiet, very nice family.
Pros: The breakfast is in buffet form, the family is friendly, the views from the room are incredible, the location is very quiet at night, the wifi works very well, it is very clean and there is a small pebble beach down the road, at the caves.
Cons: It is true that the room and especially the bathroom are somewhat small. Although this didn't bother me one bit, it might be important to know to some people. If you don't have a car, your only option to eat lunch and dinner are in the hotel itself (cannot comment on this, I only had breakfast there), unless you want to walk to the closest restaurant (Kampinara) at 2,2 kms (all uphill). The caves and the beach are at 800 meters (all downhill).
Pros: Everything was GREAT! And the food was out of this world! Authentic home cooked Greek cuisine. Delicious!
Pros: Staff are close knit and reasonably helpful.
Cons: Weak coffee at breakfast.
Pros: Friendly and clean place, perfect for families!! Stunning views!
Pros: Sea view was really wonderfull. Breakfast was as usual but it includes very tasty greece pie spanakopita. Room was clean. This hotel is also very close to Dirous caves, that's very convenient for us.
Cons: There was very unpleasant smell in the bathroom all the time. Actually, the bathroom needs renovation.
Pros: Perfect location to visit the caves. Very nice rooms with amazing view, even if a bit cramped. Very good price with breakfast included.
Cons: Everything to have a perfect stay except a little "hick" at the restaurant...never ask for watermelon, we got it for 12 euros for 2 slices of watermelon, while a full watermelon cost 3 euros...(10kg watermelon at 30 cents/kg on the village) never seen !!
Pros: Location. View
Cons: Small room
Located in East Mani, Vlyhada Guesthouse is within a 15-minute drive of Diros Caves and Koita Towers. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was very good!
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located in the village of Pirgos Dirou, 5' cardrive from Areopoli and 2' from the famous cave of Dirou. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was nice, consisted of local products and was served at your table. Parking was available at the hotel terms. Having booked last minute, in full summer season, I' d say that it was a good value-for-money choice.
Cons: Extra points could be given if some details were taken care of: "empty", "cold" walls, noisy a/c, etc. Nothing too significant.
Pros: Great traditional breakfast! Very good location if it fits your plans!
Pros: Location: near Diros Cave. The cleanliness: spotless! The dinner: great.
Cons: No smile from the staff! Except the lady of the house, the boys seemed to be very disgruntled that we arrived, no help on the stairs with the luggage, no hello or goodbye. The tv: it was a message in greek, and that was all. Of couse there was no one to ask for help. The breakfast was ok. But it was a fixed menu. You either ate it, or not! Not a possibility to choose. The orange juice and the coffee were good. All in all, in my opinion, too overrated.
Pros: Very close to the Pyrgos caves and the near by beautiful beaches

Pros: Great place, wonderful host, the view is amazing. The place is very well equipt.
Cons: No shower on the upper floor - second bedroom and climbing upstairs (steep staircase)
Pros: We stayed in the Mill which had all of the amenities, extremely clean, comfortable and all the space you would need. The staff were massively accommodating on all requests and we had the best sleeps in a very comfortable bed.... lovely!! Such beautiful and peaceful surroundings with olive groves and fruit trees - they have done an amazing job with renovating the castle.
Pros: Very nice and helpful host. Nice room, bathroom rather small but did the job. Nice and quiet location. Exquisite breakfast.
